don't usually go for the sweet coffee treat situation... but this one got me. Had the caramel cold brew with banana cold foam and yeah... this thing slapped. Balanced, not overly sweet, and the banana actually worked way better than I expected. Could've easily gone artificial or heavy and it didn't. Just smooth, clean, and honestly kind of addictive. I tried coming here 3 different times and finally got to try it! The first time, we didn't realize they aren't open in the mornings; we showed up around 9am but they did not open until around lunchtime. The second time, they happened to be temporarily closed for a few days and we didn't know until seeing a sign on the door. Right around that time, they actually changed their hours to be open earlier in the mornings! On the third try, we finally made it in and got to order some coffees. The shop is located inside another store which makes it feel like a hidden gem. I was going to order a different drink but once I read the raving reviews about their banana pudding matcha and how it was their best seller, I knew I had to try it. This drink was incredible!! Not something I typically would've ordered but I was very impressed. The banana flavor didn't taste artificial, it actually tasted like real banana mixed into the drink. The matcha had a perfect level of sweetness without being too bitter or overpowering the banana. You could taste both flavors equally and they completed each other well. Beanie's is a great hidden coffee gem in Reno, I honestly wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for my fiancé. The staff are friendly and welcoming and have always been genuine and sincere for the last 3 times we've been there. This small coffee shop is tucked away in the Hype Tea Market, but the ambiance suits the energy well. Lastly, but most importantly the coffee is delicious, this is probably the best banana matcha I've ever had, it's not too milky and watered down like what Dutch Bros and Starbucks are serving, you can genuinely taste the banana and matcha. I'm not sure if they're actually blending an actual banana instead of using powdered versions of it, but it makes a whole world of difference. Highly recommend everyone to give location a try! read more
