Imagine it being your first time coming to Dutch Bros, see a line and decide you're still willing to wait.. just to be turned away because the line is full and it obstructs with traffic? Why do these coffee shops open in inconvenient locations if they can't keep up with the foot traffic? As far as ambiance? They had a whole group of employees just hanging out in the front talking to each other too. Barely in driving space and parking spaces. So it goes to say if you see the line here don't even bother. I've never had a bad experience at any Dutch bros I've been to but this parking lot is a nightmare. They have a "security guard" standing at the entrance telling people they can't wait in the drive thru line and then will tell you to park in Alberto's parking lot and walk over through the drive thru line which is a huge inconvenience with small children. The parking lot is a huge fire/natural disaster hazard and so hard to navigate no matter what time you come. All I wanted for Mother's Day was a cup of coffee and left so disappointed as the line took 30 minutes without any movement so we ended up driving to another location that was so kind and got us in and out within 5 minutes. What is the point of ordering ahead of time when you get here and then have to wait twenty minutes for your one single coffee. In the direct sun since there walk up window has no shading for customers. I'm writing while standing here, I ordered my drink through the app at 9:15 for a 9:25 pick up. It's 9:42 no drink. When I came up and said I was here for a pickup I was informed there were people here before me and that they'd get to my drink when they can. They completely prioritize the drive through and I've watched 10-15 cares come and go. I have no ability to cancel my order so now I'm either stuck waiting for when they decide to get to my drink and be late to work or leave my nearly $10 drink and go to work. Tried this place after spending a few hours in Reno gambling at Atlantis as I'd never seen a Dutch Bros before, and some quick googling showed some really interesting beverages. Drive-thru took a really long time even though there were only three cars in front of us. That being said, service was really friendly. The employee taking my order was really kind, and helped me decide on ordering a hot Caramel Pumpkin Brulee Breve. This drink was really, really sweet. Like too sweet. Like 125% sweetness. And I typically like sugary sweet drinks, but this was too much even for me. If I ever got it again I'd probably get it at 50-75% sweetness and it'd be perfect. That being said, I could still taste the coffee, pumpkin, and spice flavor even through the sweetness which was really nice. I liked it, but not if I like it more or less than any other chain. I will preface this with: I usually ALWAYS go through the drive thru, so this comes down to a personal mistake. I love Dutch Bros and truly find it the superior coffee chain. 90% of the time, customer service is top notch and the employees treat you like friends. Today, however, because of the terribly laid out drive through, I parked and got out for my drink. I ordered my normal medium, iced 911, double sweet with vanilla, sub white coffee. The girl taking my order didn't ask for clarification and had I not been watching, she had typed "no Irish" without asking (I wanted Irish). I corrected her and caught a snarky response. Okay, fine, everyone has bad days. But listen, when I tell you that I, along with multiple others, waited over 15 minutes for our drinks, I'm not exaggerating! It truly seemed like if you weren't drive thru, your order didn't matter. I wasn't a big fan of Dutch bros until I tried it here in Reno. I loved it so much we went back every day for a drink on our way to Tahoe. Everyone who helped us was so kind and friendly. Service was so quick and even tho there are a lot of options on the menu, the broristas were very helpful helping us decide on what to choose. It seemed like they love doing their job. They even asked if we had any fun plans for the day which was nice small talk while we waited for our drinks. The drive through was easy to find and not confusing like other places. They had a very clean work space and had some good music on. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town! read more

Any time I am in the central valley or Reno, I have to stop at Dutch Bros. I'm sure you already know their reputation, they're legit. At Dutch Bros, you can get anything you want. Sweet? Strong? Non-diary? They have it all. Dutch Bros is known for its famous drinks like the Picture Perfect but those drinks can be a little much for some. I suggest working with one of the baristas to find a coffee that best suits you, they are very knowledgeable. I decided on a large iced coffee with breve (steamed half n half), Splenda, and sugarless caramel drizzle. Shout out to my low-carb folks. THIS WAS SO GOOD, creamy but not too sweet. First time at this location. I wanted coffee and big kid wanted Dutch so we decided to come here since it was closed to where we're headed. Lady who took our order was pretty friendly and nice. Asked her for recommendations and she recommended her favorite drink FlapJack with Oak milk so that's exactly what I got. Drink wasn't bad. Can't taste the coffees much but it's alright. Kiddo got her usual pitcher prefect freeze. Drive thru went fairly quick besides a lady who was holding up the line when we got there. Not sure what was going on but once she finally decided to move all the cars (6+) in front of us drove through got their drinks and left. Overall, great services. read more

my family & i LOOOVE dutch bros. it sucks that there are only 3 in Reno and not in Sparks- but we drive all the way over here at least once a week to get our fix! My husband and i always get the blended dutch rebels and we've tried every flavor but TOP favorites are; Dinosaur Egg, Shark Attack, & Gummy Bear. They literally are like slushies but WAAAY better cuz you don't run out of syrup and are way more flavorful! The kids get kid-sized smoothies, my daughter gets strawberry with whipped cream and my son gets mango without- they're perfectly sized and deliciously made- the kids love it and have no issues finishing them! i only gave 4 stars for THIS location because the drive thru situation is terrible. literally only has room for no more than 7-8 cars and it's always overflowing, people start piling up on the outside on the road and now they have hired a security guard that makes people either go around and come back til the cars move up or go to another location! Skimming through the reviews of others, I tend to agree, but will not be basing my ratings from the typical wait that comes with Dutch Bros. I've been to about 8 over a couple states, and there is almost always a wait, so I do not wish to hold that against this locations. The drinks are honestly a little bit pricey for what you get, but you usually know what you're getting into ahead of time when coming here. I never get a coffee, and usually opt for the Peach Energy Drink, or a version of the energy drink no matter what. I know it's a formula, but the drinks here are always consistent, always yummy, and the large size is pretty generous for if you have a long drive ahead of you. If you don't mind the wait, they'll never disappoint! read more
