We like Stella its a cutr local shop. I got their matcha for mother's day amd it was super delicious. Very refreshing. Its a very clean and quiet place to catch up woth friends. I dont go downtown often, bug always attempt to come here if I do. Midtown is beautiful so you can also grab a coffee to go and take a walk. The staff is kind and very helpful. Stella coffee was just what we were looking for. The latte was made fresh to order, and was delicious. It was 3 o clock and the cafe was still fairly busy. On the rare occasions when it's busy, parking can be a little limited, but all in all this is the kind of place that I'm personally looking for when I want to go out for a quick coffee and bite to eat. My bagel and cortado were good; I found the cortado more milky than rich hazelnutty/coffee-flavorful like I''m normally looking for, and the Asiago bagel I ordered was nicely toasted but there was hardly any Asiago on it, so it just seemed like a nice plain bagel. Judging on food alone this place is still a solid 4 stars, but the things I mentioned above put it over the top for me. Pricing-wise it wasn't cheap, but it wasn't astronomical either. Walking around Midtown Reno and spotted this coffee shop on the corner. We decided to stop in and check it out! We were immediately greeted as we walked in. After looking at the menu we decided on an Iced Apple Crisp Latte, Iced Pumpkin Spice Chai & Mini Cinnamon Rolls to snack on. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. We decided to sit inside and wait for our order. Everything was ready rather quickly. Both drinks tasted like fall in a cup! A little sweet for me but my little one loved her chai. Normally would probably go to Perenn next door, but had a gifted drink here, and was so glad I did! Great overall experience. The oat milk chai was hands-down one of the best I've had in the area: not too sweet, with a nice blend of spices that doesn't get drowned out by the milk, and the oat milk isn't the kind that adds some bitterness. Pretty relaxed environment with just enough seating, and tables are comfortable with good space between them. My cheese jalapeno bagel wasn't spicy, but the texture was good. Friendly, quick service and some fun drinks to come back and try on the winter menu: banana bread latte, peppermint chocolate horchata. I liked my drink as it was light and refreshing. Not too sweet. The glimmer was cool to see. Though, personally, it was missing the lavender taste and also the garnish. My friend ordered the Cortado and it was good as expected (4/5). The baklava had mixed reviews. "It was good" or "I didn't like it because it was too moist". Located in midtown, Jostella's is a cute and cozy coffee shop that's bound to make you happy. The workers are always kind, the energy is great, and it's a true coffee house experience compared to most places. We love to get the protein smoothies here, I think the protein powder they use gives it a different taste than ours and it's addicting. We just can't get enough. I wish they had more smoothie flavors though as we adore them. I remember they used to have a green and mango one I believe? That one was the best, but strawberry banana is always a win too. Our last visit we tried one of the specials of strawberry shortcake cold brew. The shortbread foam was to die for. So good. The cold brew itself was also smooth, delicious, and really had a hint of strawberry. As someone who's worked in coffee for years before, cold brew is a strong and bitter thing, so to get it this delicious is a feat. It makes me happy to see such an amazing local business. So after explaining what I know about the ingredients (2 shots, milk base), he gamely tried to create it. The coffee wasn't bad! It tasted like a starbucks flat white (I get mine with Oat Milk rather than Cow). However, the espresso itself is a bit weak. I prefer a strong dark coffee. This little Cafe is adorable and on a corner plot so it's easy to find with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. I went there two days in a row because I wasn't being satisfied with my other breakfast options, without spending $20 at a restaurant. They had a build your own breakfast sandwich so I built a croissant with pepperjack cheese, egg, bacon. and a slice of tomato - honestly, I think I could eat this breakfast every day. for only $6.50, it's a steal! Prices have increased so much but I found this to have great value. Pair that breakfast with a hot Latte and I'm ready to conquer the world. Too bad I don't live in Reno. Still my favorite bagel sandwich in town! Great cozy coffee shop that I've been going to for a few years now. We came by around d 9am on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy at all. It can get busier later in the day on weekends so we try to get here early when we come. The Milky Way mocha(mocha with caramel) was perfect to warm up on a cold morning.
