I had to have blood work done and decided to reward myself with a milkshake. A friend has told me how she and her sisters have been here several times, so Jeremy and I decided to check it out. Went to Beanie's to try the Banana Bread pudding ice cream. Upon entering the store we were greeted by the staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside has a nice decor to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have snowballs as well as penny candy( that's what it was called back in my younger days). Back to the ice cream it taste just like banana bread pudding, it was delicious. It was worth $13(quart). It was so good that me and my daughter savored over it for 6 days. This place was incredible! We came to here after a softball game and got there around 8:15pm and they close at 9pm. So about 1/3 of the flavors had run out for the night...but they had so many flavors, that there was still plenty to pick from. They also do milkshakes! AND they also have snowballs! Manager is a complete asshole she need to learn how to talk to her employees correctly before that karma comes at her. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the employees looks and the manager started commenting little things at her. Love the ice cream here! They have so many different options and there is always something new to try! We love it so much we have made it into an every other week dessert run. I always get a two scoop Sundae with wet walnuts along with whipped cream and a cherry this past time I had the pleasure of trying carrot cake ice cream, which I mixed with coconut ice cream for my other scoop. It was delicious! I would definitely get it again. I did think it was a little artificial tasting but everything was still yummy in my tummy lol. I wish there was an option to add toasted coconut as a topping but until then I'll just stick to the wet walnuts. Overall, the best ice cream in dundalk...hands down! read more

The ice cream was A+. Exactly as I thought it would be and exactly as I wanted. A delicious cold dairy treat...And the waffle bowls and cones are some of the best I've ever had. The employees were friendly and helpful - when my partner's bowl was defective and leaking on the counter before we paid, an employee quickly grabbed it and got a new bowl. I got the worst snowball I have ever had at beanies. They didn't put any juice in the middle and it was virtually just pure ice. The employee told me to take my spoon and mix it up. I have never heard of such a thing. In addition the snowball was only halfway full. Also they raised the prices & did not indicate that on their posted price list. I hate this place! The Sundaes are too good, the shakes are too good too. The service is always friendly. They have a vast variety of ice cream flavours and snowballs too. Their waffle cones are made in-house and are just too delicious. Problem is I really shouldn't eat ice cream and this place makes it too irresistible. The 50's decor is pretty cool. I would enjoy it better if it wasn't just Hershey's ice cream and every time I go in there the prices are different. Other than that, not a bad spot.
