You're hamstrung by the alcohol laws to some extent but if you're going to offer wine, make the effort to educate your staff if your patrons have questions. Once ordered, our entrees came out so fast as so suggest they'd been prepared and sitting under a heat lamp. The glossy thick and cloying sweet gravy of the sauerbraten would assume nothing less. This place has promise but it's small and noisy. It was packed by 6 pm on a Friday with large parties of families toting kids in strollers. It was impressive to see everyone pause and take a moment to honor our country. The atmosphere was patriotic, welcoming, and had a real sense of community. The food was outstanding. I had the jalapeño cheddar sausage, brisket, and banana pudding--and every bit of it was delicious. As a bonus, they even had Big Red in a glass bottle, which brought back some great memories.
