    Town of Ogden
    Sean D.

This place was right in the heart of Ogden. Drove through the small town of Ogden with the family and stopped here for some breakfast. The food was delicious and classic. The menu had a nice selection to choose from. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, it was nice to chat and learn a bit about the town which is to say the staff are friendly, patient, and informative. The place itself is very cute, gives off that old town feeling vibe which I feel makes you feel welcomed.

While road tripping from WA to TX we stopped here at O-town eats and it was such a wonderful experience! Great service as soon as we walked in, beautiful decor/aesthetic/design, and delicious food! We enjoyed every bite of food and appreciated the prompt and great service! Highly highly recommend if you're in the area! I ordered. The breakfast sandwich and enjoyed every single bite!

These are the best biscuits and gravy around. We stopped in on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy at the front but most the tables were filled. We were sad and waited a few minutes to get our orders in. We ordered the breakfast burrito, otown breakfast, and a side of bisquits and gravy. Everything was good, especially the biscuits and gravy. The potatoes were great , crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and you can't really mess up scrambled eggs. My plate came with a biscuit and I didn't like it on its own, I thought it was a bit dry but they are great with the sausage gravy. My partner didn't enjoy her burrito too much but I had half the next day and I really liked it. I didn't order coffee but next time I'll have to give it a try. The staff were nice and very efficient.

The Waffle Charcuterie Delicious!!!! Great staff and yummy food! Definitely recommend!

We all LOVED it! The serving sizes were perfect and the staff were super friendly and professional. Misty our waitress was very patient with our teenager who couldn't figure out what to eat; giving her suggestions and letting her try a sauce. Anthony our host was kind and made accommodations for us to sit comfortably. The food... PERFECTION!

Such a sweet, homey place. O-Town is great for a relaxed weekend--no rush, no noise, just a calm and comfortable vibe. Easy to swing by, easy to enjoy

Small space, Big taste I have no complaints. The place was very clean, bathroom included. Beautiful decorated, with a gorgeous mural depicting historic Ogden. We were immediately seated, and immediately had a server take drink order. The herbal tea I got was good, and I loved that they brought a teapot with hot water out so I could refill it as I wished. We ordered meat lovers omelette, eggs Benedict with bacon, and the avocado toast with poached eggs. Everything was immaculate. Great flavors, sizable portions, everything was awesome. I appreciated how attentive the service was and that we were able to get a table on a busy Saturday with no wait

I got the eggs Benedict and omg yum! The tomato on it made it even better!

A chill vibe, the food is on point, and they do have excellent service with food served pretty quickly. I like breakfast early so there were few customers but the staff was very attentive so don't think it'd be very different when full.

We were really pleased with food, which came out pretty quickly. I had the country fried steak with hashbrowns, two eggs and a scone. The scone came out first and was not the type of scone I was used to in Washington State. This was fried dough with a nice lump of cinnamon butter on top. Absolutely delicious, but more of a dessert so I set that aside for after the meal. The meal is huge. The country fried steak was just perfect with excellent sausage gravy. The two eggs were cooked well and it can with a great pile of hashbrowns that were delicious. Others enjoyed their food as well, particularly the waffles. Definitely a great place for breakfast.

I'm giving it a 4 based on what it CAN be, not off what I got Really quick service I was impressed, I'd get something besides the cajun potatoes. More in depth: Here's what I say about this place, I like the vibe. It was pretty clean in there and the food came out really quickly. Was it the best thing I've ever had? No, not really but I see the potential based on what they have on the menu and what other people have gotten. I got the spicy chicken sandwich, was it spicy? No. Was it good? Yes. The Cajun potatoes were not what I expected, for somewhere serving brunch. I expected breakfast potatoes with extra Cajun seasoning although it turned out to be more like Cajun potato chips, they were okayish. For those you local to Ogden, this replaced the old sonic right on 12th St. it's right next to the chipotle. I guess what I want to say is, based on what I saw on the menu and at the restaurant I feel like there were better items for me to get was it bad? No, the sandwich is actually pretty good just not spicy.... but I am giving the four stars based on what it could've been and what I've seen other people get .

Paying for one meal and getting two is the kind of financial planning I can get behind. The space itself is adorable and perfect for a catch-up. I've been a long-time customer of No Frills Diner in Ogden, and my wife and I used to come here…read moreregularly because the food was great and the portions were worth the price. Our absolute favorite thing on the menu was the Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast. It was two thick pieces of cream-cheese stuffed French toast topped with apples, caramel, crumble, and whipped cream, and you actually got two of those pieces per order, plus bacon and eggs. It was easily one of the best breakfast plates in Ogden and the main reason we kept coming back. Yesterday we came in and found out they completely removed it from the menu. Huge disappointment right out of the gate. They still have mixed berry, banana caramel, and peach versions. I can't eat the berry because of an allergy, and we've had the peach before and didn't care for it, so we tried the banana caramel crunch instead. Service was slower than usual. There's a help-wanted sign when you walk in and it looked like a new employee was being trained, so that part was understandable. What wasn't understandable was when the food showed up. The portion has been cut in half. What used to be two stuffed French toast pieces per order is now only one, but the price is the same. My wife and I have both had weight-loss surgery, so we're definitely not people who need massive portions. But cutting the plate by 50% while charging the same price just feels like a bad move. Even though we split meals we made it up by tipping are wait staff, the difference as if we would have ordered two meals, Removing a customer favorite and shrinking portions at the same time is a good way to lose longtime customers. Cute little diner, just hope the owners can rethink this issue. All things change and not always for the good. We used to recommend No Frills to everyone. After this visit, it's hard to say we will anymore or visit ourselves.

The long: This is the kind of place that you can imagine someone coming here every day for years. Some place that's so deeply intertwined with a random neighborhood and you wouldn't ever know about it unless you came here. It's got character, the scratches in the walls, the adorable tables and chairs, adorable trinkets and treats you can buy, nice baristas up front and some awesome hot chocolate and waffles. Now the only reason I give it 4 instead of five is because it is $6 per waffle, I don't love it but I will admit that they'd get me paying that same $6 every time I went in there. But as I said the aesthetic was perfect. Especially for a coffee date or just taking a seat and reading a book. I genuinely enjoyed my time here, and i believe if you enjoy coffee shops then you would too. Thanks for letting me stop by and eating some killer waffles! 4.25/5

This place is located in a cute and quiet neighborhood, and is pretty cozy. The shop itself offers a warm and welcoming environment and is bustling with customers trying to get their morning fix. Although the shop is a bit small, there is plenty of seating and an open area to wait for your items. Additionally, art and merchandise line the walls, so there is always something to look at. I personally ended up buying a sticker of a painting made by a local artist. As for the drink/pastries I ordered a pumpkin chai with their house made puree and was not disappointed. I enjoyed it a lot. The only downside was it had a slightly odd aftertaste. As for the pastries, I had a blueberry banana muffin and a pumpkin turnover which were just alright. Staff are friendly and personable, even during the chaos of a rush. Lowkey though, the minimum option to tip being 20% is kind of crazy, considering that it is /just/ a small coffee shop. Still gave the tip anyway. Overall, it was a good experience and I enjoyed my drink both mornings I was here. I see why it is always so busy. If i'm in the area again, I'd likely come back. *staff/customers in my attached photos have been blurred to protect their identity.

Our meal started off with the Daily Bread & Butter and Caesar. Both paired well together. For entrees, I had the Wagyu Zabuton, which was cooked well and was paired with flavorful sides. My husband had the Lamb Chops, which were beautifully plated. All the cocktails were amazing, but my favorite was the Madam's Choice. I had to wait what felt like an epoch for my delicious, chicken-y reward, and despite the size of the restaurant and relatively tame level of busy-ness, wait staff still took their sweet time and did not get bread out in a timely fashion. The ambiance is like 'millennial interior design final boss' - imagine being trapped within the pages of Magnolia Table, and everyone looks and sounds like the first Google results for 'hipster'. I wouldn't mention this if the smarminess of staff didn't compound the frustration of having to wait forever for like three pieces of bread. So, if you're in the area and have a refined palette that craves rich, delicious flavors against a backdrop of open French windows, I'd say go for it.
