This place is great! We stopped by on a Tuesday morning, and I was surprised by how large the inside was. It's not gigantic, but I was expecting it to be much smaller based on what I had heard about the place. I ordered the Waffle Latte and absolutely loved it. I would definitely get it again. My wife ordered an iced mocha with an extra shot, and she really enjoyed hers as well. We also decided to try a white chocolate raspberry scone. My wife loved it. I thought it was good, but not quite great. We also ordered a garlic bagel with cream cheese. I really liked that and would potentially order it again, although next time I may try a plain bagel just for comparison. The staff was super nice. They genuinely seemed happy to be there, which is honestly a bit surprising these days when it comes to customer service. The positive attitude definitely added to the experience. Overall, I really don't have much negative to say. Sure, it's a little pricey, but I feel like I say that in almost every review nowadays. Food and drinks outside the house are just stupid expensive these days, so compared to other coffee shops, the pricing here felt relatively fair. Yeah, I don't know. I've seen great reviews for BlueNose Coffee so I had to check it out! They had a drive thru but I went inside to order. They have a cozy atmosphere and is a nice spot to enjoy a morning drink. I ordered a blue nose mocha and a believin' berry buzz dirty soda along with a blueberry scone. The scone was subtly sweet and pretty dense. It was a great choice of bakery item. The mocha was super sweet. It almost tasted more like a latte than a mocha. The sugary flavors drown out the espresso bitterness. I'd order something else next time since the sugar rush was a lot. Since Farmington has been known to consume the most Mountain Dew per capita in the US I ordered a Mountain Dew based dirty soda. With all the added flavors of this drink I kind of forgot it was Mountain Dew. Like everything else this was a super sugary drink but was nice to try due to the novelty of the drink. read more

I've passed by BlueNose Coffee many times and always noticed how busy it is, especially the drive-through, which always seems packed. I finally decided to stop in for an early coffee and breakfast. They have a display case next to the register offering bakery items and sandwiches. The bakery items looked great, but I was in the mood for something more filling, so I ordered the Turkey Bacon Apple sandwich. For my drink, I chose the hot Bananas Foster Latte with an extra shot of espresso. The coffee was pretty good and came out quickly. It wasn't mind-blowing, but I enjoyed it. The sandwich was also good, though nothing particularly special--it was a fairly standard turkey sandwich. The vibe of the café is nice, with plenty of tables and cute décor. The service was great as well; the person who took my order was very friendly and welcoming. While this isn't a place I'm rushing back to, I would return to try some of the bakery items or one of their "dirty sodas," which I thought was an interesting addition to the menu. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in the local area and one I love to come too for personal meetings or some "me" time. Adorable spot! I had no idea this place existed until I did some local exploring and stumbled upon it. The inside is really darling. Lots of places to sit, cozy decor...I'll definitely have to try to go back to do some work there. The coffee was also very good. I got their brown sugar latte (iced) which was yummy, although a bit sweet! It's always a gamble for me getting flavors and I really need to get better at specifying that I don't like my coffee too sweet. Only negative I found about this place was that there wasn't much food selection. I did come a bit later (around 11:30am) so maybe I came too late. I love this new found coffee shop. It's close to Trinity care center and a welcoming stop when visiting family there. I've had the ice chai latte and two different iced coffee drinks with oat milk and all were delicious. The pastries and bagels were great too. Highly recommend the caramel bran muffin and scones. What a cute little gem here in Farmington! When you walk in, not only will you fall in love with the delicious smells in here, but you will also be immediately greeted by a friendly face. We took some time to look at their gifts, and was so tempted to but their coffee mug candle! They were a bit busy while we were there, but the barista was so nice and the coffee came out lightning quick. Their patio is small but decorated with an abundance of beautiful flower arrangements and hanging baskets. It was the perfect place for our little family to sit and enjoy our treats. The service was fast, lots of people working. We went inside and I honestly didn't love how clustered it was with decor. I ordered the brown sugar latte but got a brown sugar cinnamon latte because they said the brown sugar doesn't dissolve in an iced drink. I personally think there's a better way to go about this, you could 100% boil it in water to make a brown sugar syrup so that was a bit disappointing. My boyfriend got the rocky road mocha and it was OK. After not liking my brown sugar latte, I decided to order an iced vanilla latte because that's my determining factor of if I will come back to a coffee shop or not, and it was not my favorite either. I accidentally stumbled into this coffee shop because I was in need of caffeine and in front of the door--destiny? Friendly, chatty service (but not too chatty), fast coffee making, and a really good latte with whole milk. The latte is smooth and properly creamy without a burned flavor. Louie Armstrong sets a fitting tone for this little shop. There are two cozy seating sections divided by a working fireplace. Don't humiliate your customers. On an iced drink my daughter has been getting on a regular weekly basis, it was suddenly made 'hot'. No big deal, then the employee, at this time visibly upset that the drink (an $8.00 plus drink by the way) needed to be an iced version, informed her with a very unfriendly attitude that that drink is always a 'hot' drink. Interesting, he had made that drink many many times before. On top of that, 2 of my family members have been exclusively buying their bulk beans from this location, even getting on the monthly delivery when that started, UNTILL this incident and suddenly the shop cancelled her subscription. The really cool sign on the building caught my eye and the fact that it had a drive-thru was a bonus. I don't drive down RT3 that often and had no idea this was there. I initially ordered the Waffle Latte (latte with honey and maple syrup) but since I ordered it iced, the staff was kind enough to suggest I either get it hot or try a different drink since the maple and honey wouldn't dissolve very well in iced. I instead got the brown sugar latte with oat milk and an extra shot and it was really great. Definitely better than Starbucks' equivalent! Blue Nose in Farmington serves some of the best coffee I've had from a café. I've had some of the best of the best, including pure Jamaican Blue Mountain pour-overs by the cup from the famous Philz Coffee in the San Francisco Bay area. Wife & I stopped by Blue Nose Coffee while visiting family in Farmington. I ordered the Butter Coffee and wife had the Hazlenut Latte. Both drinks were delicious. We also bought two bags of whole coffee beans (India Malabar and Peabody varieties) as we have a semi-pro espresso maker at home. The beans had been freshly roasted, and they were of excellent quality. The service was also friendly. Aside from family, Blue Nose Coffee is the only other place we look forward to when visiting Farmington. The town is lucky to have a place like this! The employees are so sweet!!! And their caramel frappe with two shots of espresso was super good. I also appreciate that they asked me if I wanted a hot shot of espresso or a cold shot, which isn't something that people ask a lot and it is a detail that makes all the difference in a drink. Coffee: Delicious. So glad that I came here for a nice cup and to get work done. They offer many different roasts in terms of beans that you can order and pickup at any time. They have all of the traditional coffee orders in a variety of sizes, and are quick to fulfill your order and will take it to you wherever you are sitting! Environment: A comfortable environment. My only complaint is that there isn't a ton of natural light and it can be a little dark for my taste, though many people might prefer it that way. There are enough plug-ins for charging if you need, just make sure to scout a table near one. There is a nice variety of seating including tall tables, short tables, lounge chairs, and a couch. There is a fireplace that I am sure warms the space nicely, though was not on when I went. The shop is in a unique location, right along highway 3, in a short strip mall. I would have preferred it closer to or in a downtown to boost foot traffic. The shop accommodates their location by having a drive-through window, which is slightly confusing to navigate. Service was excellent, kind, and quick. The servers will bring your drink to you where you are sitting which is an added bonus. Food Selection: The food selection seemed a little limiting in my opinion, and none of the selections looked particularly appetizing. For that reason, I did not order any. I would say that this is worth the experience if you are close by. I was able to get plenty of work done here. I would probably not drive very far to come here for the environment, though I think it is worth it if you purchase their roasted beans to take home. I absolutely love BlueNose! BlueNose has a wonderful variety of espresso and tea beverages, as well as Italian sodas, and bakery items. The cafe itself is adorable, but they also have a drive-thru, which I so appreciate during this time of COVID-19. My personal favorite beverage is an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it is phenomenal! A side note: the ice they used in their iced drinks is a smaller, more crushed ice, which I love - it makes such a difference. The staff is always so kind and friendly, and I appreciate the work that they do, both during and outside of quarantine. The prices at BlueNose are also so great. They are cheaper that what you find in the cities, but competitive for its location. I love that I am able to visit and support a local business, especially since their coffee is far better than that at a Starbucks or Caribou. They were very quick to make my coffee every time I would come in. I ordered a carmel frappe and the coffee was rather icy and bland instead of fluffy and flavorful like I usually have it. There wasn't enough caffeine in it as well. It didn't give me a boost like coffee from Starbucks does, if you enjoy coffee for that- this is a big deal. New coffeehouse next to anytime fitness. I've really enjoyed the tea selections. They have a wall of different teas to chose from. I'm working my way through them. My best friend loves the coffee. They brewed 2 small cups for her when she came to buy a bag of beans for home so she could find the one she liked better. She was really impressed with the coffee and the staff who helped her.
