A very stuck tractor, and a dog that wants to help but doesn't know how

These guys are awesome! I called Bear Flag with a (literally) sticky situation....dead tractor, buried in a sinkhole at the middle of a muddy field, the night before a storm. Within an hour of calling, Peter and Joe had it winched out and jump started. They even helped us muscle the heavy 3 point mower out of the mud pit so we could reattach it and bring it in. The price they quoted was super fair to begin with, but they went above and beyond to help us out!

I needed my truck towed out of mud they showed up with in 10 minutes of my calling and got it out fast and efficiently Joe was very nice and did an excellent job. I used my insurance company so it was paid for by my insurance company. Didn't have to pay loved the service. read more

Bear Flag towing, just rescued me with a pair of dead batteries in two different cars. I did not ask for the second car to be jumped, but just mentioned it casually in the pouring down rain and they went and got the jump equipment and jump started that car as well. That kind of Customerservice you can't pay for or teach, the people who do it have to want it and have the ethic of service. Peter and Joe are tribute to what service is all about. Coming from an event planner where service is vital and not an option.......These two are the epitome of what I would like in my employees. read more

Hector quite literally came to my rescue in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of the rain. My car lost all gears late in the night on Bohemian Highway. Hector was so kind in making all of my kids feel safe and comfortable and getting them safely into the tow truck. He was kind and went the extra mile to get me and my kids home safely. Hector was professional, reassuring and a blessing in a very scary situation. read more

I parked for approximately one hour in a shared-fence area adjacent to The Spot. There were no…read morevisible signs indicating that parking was restricted, nor were there any warnings that vehicles would be towed. When I returned, I discovered my vehicle was gone. It was only by chance that I noticed a tow truck removing another vehicle and realized my car had been towed--not stolen. I called the number listed on the tow truck and was told my car had been taken to a lot a few minutes away. I was driven to a dark, unlit, and unsecured lot where multiple tow trucks were parked and several individuals were being forced to sign paperwork and pay large sums of money in order to retrieve their vehicles. I had no choice but to comply. I paid $665 and signed forms in poor lighting, under pressure. Once I got home and reviewed my receipt, I noticed a $136 "one-day holding fee"--despite the fact that my vehicle was actively being lowered off the truck as I arrived. My car was never "held" on the property for a full day, making the charge unjustifiable and predatory. These people are unethical and plan to report them to the better business bureau.

They need to come up with a new process for companies towing vehicles from spots that are not well marked. When calling to get information about how and when they told my car they don't keep record of any of these incidences which is very telling of the business practices this company and the apartment complex keep. They are processed currently makes me believe that they have some type of nefarious agreement for towing cars off of their property. This is a bad look for visitors for the apartment company "The marq" and this towing company. $550 later and a walk of shame I had to walk home 11: 00pm at night.

In the end, I went with his suggestion. I also had him replace my horn that was dying (he founds lots of corrosion probably due to me living next to the coast) and hardwire my front and rear cameras. All the work was done quickly and at super reasonable pricing! FYI Miguel only does installation and doesn't provide any products, but will suggest products for you to get. Highly recommend him!

Yesterday I was stranded and locked out of my car in an area with poor cell reception. Heavy rainfall and flooding near Forestville persisted. I immediately called AAA emergency road service and finally received a call from a local tow company. However they did not have a cradle system to tow my car without damaging it and did not know if they would have a truck available till the end of the day. Other tow services were overwhelmed but referred me to Bear Flag. Driver Joe Dawson arrived within the hour and knew exactly what to do with care and expertise. Despite the flooded rural narrow roads we navigated our way around the closed roads. He took my car and me directly to the local Tesla dealer in Santa Rosa where communication with the vehicle was re-established. I can't give Joe and Bear Flag Towing enough compliments for his excellent service. I'm keeping Bear Flag Towing's card on hand. Now I know who to contact directly whenever I need emergency road service. read more

Our boat trailer broke down while driving to Lake Sonoma. When the tow company the insurance company sent came, it was after five in the evening, and the tow truck was not big enough. I called Bear Flag Towing, and Peter saved the day! Even though he was not working that day, he went to the shop and got the correct size tow truck and came and got our boat off the highway and delivered it to our house from North Santa Rosa to Petaluma. We can not say enough nice things about Peter and Bear Flag Towing; the level of experience and kindness was above and beyond! Thank you! I had a small mishap with locking my keys in my vehicle. The vehicle was new to me so I thought I had the keys in my pocket before I locked it... I in fact did not! Bear Flag Towing was recommended by someone and I gave them a call. The driver was dispatched extremely quickly, I was told an hour or so but my driver showed up faster than that.
