I emailed Factory Pro and Marc got back to me right away. He told me to get a PCV and if I wanted it really dialed in, a fuel controller module to pair with it. I bought both and delivered my bike w/ parts to FP. About 4 days later Marc called and said, "it's ready, and it's running really well!" I rolled up there the next day and took it for a test ride, and he wasn't lying! Holy S**T! It felt like an entirely new motorcycle. The throttle delivery was smooth at all RPMs and I could tell right away that it was breathing better and had more power. It was low on fuel after the dyno runs they did, so I took it to get gas. When I merged onto the freeway I gave it the beans and took off with the front wheel waving in the wind! No clutch, and in 3rd gear, it easily wheelied under 3/4 acceleration. Needless to say, I was stoked! I got back, thanked the crew for their excellent work and loaded the bike for home. Factory Pro was quick, extremely professional, reasonably priced, and they know how to properly tune motorcycles. I will definitely be using their services again in the future.

When she and I lived together, our way around was on my 1970 Triumph Trophy. That bike didn't help anything between us! They nicknamed Lucas Electrics "The Prince of Darkness" for good reasons! We left the Bay Area, and I returned years later alone. I decided to rebuild the top end, and I found a nice cylinder head to replace the one I had. At that time, leaded gas wasn't being sold, and recessed exhaust valve seats were an issue, so I had a nice head to work with. It took them forever to bead blast the head: they didn't get it done when they had said it would be done. I was working more than full time, and using my van to get around, which was in such bad shape that I had to avoid any hills around San Francisco (or get a running start). The shop finally called and said the head was ready- much later than they had promised it. I didn't have any time, within their shop hours, to go pick it up, and I didn't have time for much of anything, unlike when I expected the head to be finished. When I was able to make it over to the shop, they had doubled the cost of the work with "storage fees"! I told them that the job wasn't done when they said it would be done, and that I refuse to pay any extra. Mr. tough guy got all big and puffy and he told me that he wouldn't return my property unless I paid what he wanted, which I refused again, and then he took a swing at me and hit me! They live up to their name: don't give them anything... there are other places to go for what you want, so go to them.

Nini at the front desk was absolutely perfect for the job imo: compassionate, reassuring, and exactly what a first-timer needs before throwing a leg over a bike for the first time for real. Freddie and Henry were great too, really easy dudes to talk to and very helpful with sharing tips and other pointers for me. I'll be honest, I dropped the bike an equal number of times on both sides over the weekend, all at zero mph (embarassing af). Symmetrically bruised ego, perfectly balanced. Returning it felt intimidating, but the whole team handled it with zero judgment and genuine professionalism. I didn't try to hide anything and they made the whole process painless, albeit with some monetary penalties caused by my inexperience (I own up to this though). I'm leaving with my wallet lighter but with my heart genuinely fuller for the experience. The environment this shop creates for nervous beginners like me is genuinely rare, and it made me feel supported and motivated to come back and do better next time. Will absolutely be back for my next rental and keep getting ride time in, because real experience gained like I did is priceless. My partner has been looking to purchase quad for a new property she just purchased, so we came in to see what they carried. First off, the entrance to the parking lot is a little funky. They try to make it one way in and one way out. The parking lot entrance is actually around the corner on Carrillo St. (small side street) and the exit is on Cleveland Ave. (larger, main street). You would think the entrance would be on the larger street and exit on the smaller street, but it's the opposite, so if you are driving on Cleveland Ave. towards College Ave. and miss Carrillo St., you will need to turn back around. As for the store itself, they have a good selection of motorcycles, power crafts, ATVs and accessories. The thing that this place is lacking is customer service which seems to be the theme when I read other reviews. When you walk in, no one greets you. There was an employee sitting at the desk doing some paperwork, looks up as we walk in, but there was no greeting. As we were browsing the inventory, no one came by help or ask if we had questions. When we walked out, again no acknowledgement that we may be potential customers. I'm sure if they had better customers service, their business would be much better.
