My car was wrecked and Cream's agreed to buy it from me to tow away and dismantle it. They towed it but haven't paid me the measly $200 we agreed on. I still have the title in hand and have offered to bring it to them but they don't return my calls. My understanding is they need the title to register it as junk before they dismantle and sell the parts, so I don't know what their deal is but I certainly would never do business with them again. read more

One of the workers at Creams towing broke into my truck and took anything worth value! Luckily, I have proof and will do everything possible to be reimbursed for there terrible actions. Here is my review. Well..... it's not a review, It's a WARNING! CREAMS came to Blake's Auto Body on Dutton Ave and towed away my Volkswagen which was un-drivable at the time. I just gave it to them. Over a year later I started getting citation notices from cities in the Bay Area for parking tickets with this car. Creams took the car, sold it to some unknown person without any DMV paperwork, and they had been driving the car, still registered in my name, for over a year. These unknown shitbirds who had my old Volkswagon finally abandoned it in the South Bay and I was notified. BECAUSE I WAS STILL THE REGISTERED OWNER. Now I doubt that this is the first time that Cteams has done this. Just before the Covid thing broke out I sent them all the bills I accrued including the bill from DMV for the car tags. It's hard to get reimbursement from thieves. They ignored me. No response. Creams is under the impression I have gone away. They are wrong. I have not gone away. It all continues with a formal complaint to the DMV. Then comes Court. So please folks, don't trust these clowns. read more

It seems to me this business is in the business of moving broken shit from one place to another, then selling that broken shit to someone else. About the only place they could screw It up is in the acquisition of the broken shit. In general, they will require paperwork to release your broken shit to them. Never knew exactly what this place was until my boyfriend told me to go here to get a driver's side seatbelt mechanism for my sons truck. He would've done it but he had to work and I wanted it and installed as soon as possible. Cream's reminds me of a pick & pull, yet much better & invitingly open to women. A little out in the cuts, yet well worth it. For less than $40 I got what I needed and Santiago installed it for me in less than 15 minutes. The City of Santa Rosa ordered my RV to be towed. When I went to pickup my RV 3 days later and waiting all day for Creams to find a way to give me RV, the tell me they didn't want to move it because of damage to the front end. The whole front end was smashed in, and looking around the storage lot, every other RV had the same type damage. Prior to seeing the vehicle they were addiment that I paid prior to seeing the vehicle. $600 fee. I refused thank God.. They offered to pay after coming up with a deal, but they never followed thru with there end.. it was sketchy, so the judge in small claims awarded me $9500. I collected $1500 so far. $1000 in the beginning and $500 after court. I asked for because I can't get paid bit by bit.. I need to fix the damage.. Creams told me they didn't have insurance to cover my RV and claimed to have $200 only in the bank. What a piece of s*"'.. court ordered to pay, and he still is giving me the run around. He lied, he said the driver was fired, I called andthe driver answered the phone.. called me a stupid mother f:";. And hung up on me when I asked for his insurance info.THE WORST MOST UN PROFFESIONAL COMPANY AND MIST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY EVER. I was stranded and these guys did me solid. During a road trip from Eureka, CA to Los Angeles, my 17 year old Lexus RX 300 had a catastrophic transmission failure during my pit stop in Santa Rosa. It had been slowly failing and a call to my mechanic from the roadside told me that it was time to scrap the old girl (270k miles). Unfortunately, I was 250 miles from home in a winter storm packed with all my travel gear ... By chance, I did a BING search on auto salvage and found Creme's who I then called - sometimes, you know in life, there are angels that look out for you. I spoke with James who offered me a fair rate for my demo and then quickly arranged a tow to pick me up. His rescuer, Casey, found me within an hour and hooked my car for tow. I was super stressed since I had another 7 hours of driving to go and hopefully make it through the mountain passes of the grapevine before the roads were shutdown. While Casey hooked up my car, I called Enterprise to rent a van, and upon finishing the reservation, Casey then dropped me at Enterprise and then took my car (still loaded with all my travel gear) to the scrap yard. (Thank you Casey!) With the rental van, I drove over to Creme's salvage yard and James had the paper work for the auto transfer ready along with a check. In the rain, they then helped me move my travel gear to my rental van. I got back on the road, drove south through driving rain for a couple hours until I passed the storm front and then made it through the grapevine two hours before the snow hit. Where I had randomly found myself in an ugly situation which could have easily gone worse - stranded, heavy rain, far away from where I need to be, sketchy neighborhood, a dead car loaded with all my gear - a couple guys who I had never met before (James and Casey of Creme's) literally rescued me, took my tired vehicle for scrap, and saw to it to help me get me back on the road. I am still sitting here this next evening feeling grateful. I couldn't have been luckier in the place where my car died and the help I got. read more

I recently purchased a vehicle that I love but was unable to smog due to the previous owner putting an after market cold air intake that was not California legal under the hood. I was worried about having to buy an expensive after market when finances have been tight, but my smog guy referred me to Cream's. They were able to check the yard to ensure that they had a stock air box assembly that I could swap in to pass smog. They do all of the work for you and take out the part that you need and are flexible with pick up times so long as it is inside of business hours. The staff are knowledgeable and professional and respond in a timely manner. Thanks to Cream's, I was able to pass smog this week and complete my registration and obtain license plates. Forgot about the $300 check I got from them and when I went to get a new one. They told me they had no record of me selling them my car or if I had cashed the check they had given me. Called these guys to see how much I could get for my car -- turns out, they don't actually want used vehicles (despite what they say on the website.) Don't bother! [I offered a 2000 Sebring convertible -- 80k miles, still runs, but the body was damaged when a tree fell on it. So it got "totaled" with the insurance company, but I still drove it for a year after that, until deciding to get a new vehicle recently, and I simply don't want to go through the hassle of trying to sell it. It has almost-new cloth top, plus perfectly fine engine, drivetrain, radiator, transmission, etc. They offered... drumroll.... $175. LOL. The tires alone are probably still worth more than that, not to mention any of the parts I just listed...] Don't bother with these clowns. If they are this out of touch when it comes to buying price, I'd be willing to bet they are just as out of touch (on the opposite extreme) when it comes to selling things... read more

i was told the transmission i went to go pick up at their yard was in running condition. after showing up to that shady place, i loaded the leaky transmission into my trunk and drove an hour back home because i couldn't find any other of these transmissions in my area. after all the time and labor i put in to get the transmission then to install it in my car just to find out that 2nd gear won't engage. please save yourself the time money and look for another dismantling yard read more
