Our server was very friendly & did a great job (I wish I could remember her name). I ordered the pulled pork sandwich & my husband had some sort of fish dish (I believe it was blackened cod). He doesn't order fish all that often, but said it's probably the best fish he's had yet! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich & it was really good as well. My only complaint is that the bathroom is really small (only 2 single small stalls) & therefore doesn't have a changing table so I had to change my baby in my car. Other than that I would absolutely come back here!

We did not catch his name, but he was wearing a University of Miami polo shirt. He offered the same solutions. When asked why we didn't have food for 45 minutes, he said a pizza can take up to 15 minutes to make and they were very busy. When I asked what he meant, the restaurant was not full, he asked if I wanted my food or not. I told him no, that I didn't really care for cold food and I was not sure if it was safe to eat. When I asked him that why we had not seen a server from the time we ordered until then, he said "What? Because your drink was empty or something?" At that point, I did not really want to argue over cold food and a waste of time, so we paid for our food and left. It was pretty disappointing to wait 40-45 minutes for cold food. It felt like our server went on break and no one covered for her, or noticed that some tables were going without service. I hope this is not what we should expect from Hamlin Pub. The food was really good and affordable. Would definitely go back again. Would recommend to others. The only down side about the whole experience was that it was my first time there and they were train in a new person. The person was doing a great job, the owner was not doing a very good job training her. She was being very rude in explaining procedures and how to do things. All of the customers could see and her what she was saying and doing. The owner even made a comment to a customer in front of me that she wasn't being mean she was just training the new girl. That isn't how you train someone properly. You need to show them how to do it, not just bark orders to someone. read more
