Love this old time diner experience. This may have been the best corned beef sandwich I've ever had. The onion roll bun was soft and flavorful but the star was the thinly sliced and piping hot corned beef. Perfect amount of cheese, and it tasted great on its own. Paired with fries that came piping hot as well. The fries were nice and crispy. My server was more interested in her phone, but the other two servers were helpful and friendly. Chatted with both the other servers when they were behind the bar, and they were very nice. As far as ambiance, it's an old diner...and it's perfectly what you should expect. A great little diner. Staff was super friendly and I heard others asking about ingredients and they gladly found out. I got the Monterey chicken and it was good. I've been here before and had an amazing experience the first time I was there. This time, came with my mom,dad, sister and my daughter and took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks. Watched as other people came in after us get served with water and their drinks and get their food before us. Took another 30 minutes for us to get our food. Solid diner right experience off I-69! Great sign, great Formica-topped tables and classic booths. Looked to be a mix of locals and travelers passing through. I had the Cincinnati Spaghetti, made with the homemade chili and even though this is a very polarizing delicacy, I thought it was really delicious. My absolute favorite place for breakfast in Davison. The staff is great- we've literally never had bad service. Today my food was SO good, I tore into it before taking a picture. Crab cake eggs Benedict is where it's AT! Omelettes are always a solid choice, and my husband is obsessed with the skillets- but the caramel pecan banana French toast hold his heart. I visited this diner while I was out of state visiting family. I had the bagel sandwich with ham and asked for the egg on the side. I also had an order of hash browns. I always go to this diner when I'm in town!! It is always packed but the wait is never long. Food is hot, fresh, delicious and fast. I recommend getting an omelette or one of their skillet options. This is a no fuss diner with friendly service and is the best place in the area to grab breakfast. The gravy in the biscuits and gravy are perfectly seasoned. Not just bland roux with milk. The skillet options they have are always crispy and flavorful and typically have two eggs on top cooked however you want. Love it!!! read more

Food is awesome. Service is pretty good. The way they charge and bill us was different both times we have gone so it is confusing. It's also very much appreciated when a restaurant discounts the service man's full bill for his family and not just his single meal, but they didn't do that either. So we will be back for the food, but definitely not for the service or sporadic billing decisions. First experience: one child's milk was free. texas toast was not extra and it was offered to us, not requested. didn't ask for military discount. party of 2 kids and 2 adults. Second experience: child's milk was charged. texas toast was an extra $.50. asked for active duty military discount and was given it on one meal and one coffee. party of 4 adults and 2 kids. so they charge extra if we ask for a discount to make up for a discount?! Love coming here on Sunday mornings for breakfast! I always get the western omlet with hash browns which is a huge portion and super good and I substitute the toast for their biscuits which they throw on the grill so theyre super crispy on outside and soft on inside, theyre so good! If you come in for food other than breakfast its pretty sub par thats why I gave 4 stars. I absolutely love their breakfast but have tried other things on the menu for lunch and dinner and just not a huge fan, but I still highly recommend for great food and service! read more

Cute little diner, like stepping into the 50's with the music in the background and all the memorabilia all over the walls. After a few good times my friend recommended. Been here twice now with my father and very unimpressed both times. food was just okay; nothing specialthe first time we had mozerella sticks, BLT and chicken strips. Mozerella sticks, A ham and steak dinner the second time best thing so far is their tots or chilli cheese fries (flint style) My steak dinner took 3 tries to get the steak even close to being cooked the way I requested which was WELL not burnt. then after being checked/cut open 3 rimes i complained as I wanted some off my bill since I couldnt even eat my dinner there as I had an appointment and they wasnt happy about me asking. the bathroom is small (I couldnt even shut the stall door) and was pretty dirty The hallways to the restroom was sticky causing my wheels to get grime all over my van floor . I notice since I'm in a wheelchair, lift in my van and was parked right into the landing pad by the doors The staff more or less ignores you after your food is brought out, if your not a regular or can't flag one down from off their phone or gossiping from behind the bar you have to do without. having been here at different times of the day first time late dinner, second time lunch. its not just a time of day. read more

Love this place. It's a great place to go for diner type food. Love there breakfast and also a fan of there Greek Salad. Super impressed when yesterday my wife and I discovered they use biodegradable straws (felt like paper or cardboard). We need more restaurants like Flag City Diner that care what they are doing to our planet. read more
