They get the parts. They are nice. They are helpful. On the other hand the communication between them and the customer is not good. I had to call to find out what is going on then some of the workers are not full loaded with all that is needed. For example the parts came in they fixed it but had to go to the office and get the memory stick to load the main board. Then to find out that someone had it and went home with it and I had to wait until the next day for it. They said that they will be here between 9 and 9:30 in the morning they are still not here. I love my Hot Spring Highlife: Prodigy spa but it was one of the most painful consumer experiences I've ever had purchasing through bear Valley spas. Our first spa was delivered and had a crack in it bear Valley spas did the right thing and replaced the spa with a new one. But ever since my initial phone call to look at the options to purchase was always a difficult communication and expectations failed at. Our spa was delivered in September and we are still waiting in January for the spa lift cover to be delivered and installed. The first spa delivered without a cover and then subsequently a cover was delivered that was too large and was not able to be secured. We spent a lot of money on our spa $12,500 for a top-of-the-line spa which we thought was going to receive top of the line service in communication. How do I add found another vendor in big bear to purchase a spa I would have. We even considered buying one through Costco which in hindsight I probably should have done. We purchased this particular spa because it was in stock and ready for delivery and installation. I'm reasonable and understand installation times can change but not when it is so drastically missed and something that could've been controlled. read more

UNRESPONSIVE - VERY DISAPPOINTED - sharing my experience - We met with Travis at the store and he sold us on a Hot Spring Spa. We bought the higher end model (Sovereign) and Travis said that the jets have two pumps, one for the lounger and one for the opposite side. You cannot try out the spa at the store so we had to take his word for it. The spa was installed and when we went to use it for the first time, we found that when the jets are on to all seats, there is not enough power to make the massaging jets of the lounger go up and down as they are supposed to. I complained to Bear Valley Spa and they said I was just not properly adjusting the valves and that it was working fine. The next time I came up, we went in the spa and adjusted the valves as they stated and it still didn't work. I reached out to HotSprings directly since I wasn't getting an answer from Bear Valley Spa. HotSprings told us that there is only one motor for the jets and we can only get the power for the massager if only one side is on. I thought this was ridiculous and I complained again to Bear Valley Spa. We had the spa installed in Oct 2024 and have been trying to get a replacement since of a spa that will actually allow everyone in the spa to enjoy the jets at the same time. BEAR VALLEY SPA NEVER GETS BACK TO ME - I HAVE TO CONTINUOUSLY CALL AND THEN I'M TOLD THEY ARE WORKING ON POSSIBLY REPLACING IT WITH A BULLFROG SPA BUT I NEVER GET A CALL BACK. I HAVE CALLED MORE THAN A DOZEN TIMES AND STOPPED AT THE STORE AT LEAST 3-4 TIMES AND STILL NO RESOLUTION. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING ANOTHER SPA PROVIDER AND TESTING THE SPA BEFORE BUYING TO MAKE SURE IT PERFORMS AS EXPECTED. read more

I have used this company for multiple years as they are the only company I know of on the mountain. I have had a broken part on my hot tub for at least 6 months. I have called more times than I can count to get it fixed and they always promise to fix it....was even told by them that a technician was going out the next day and they would call me back to confirm and nothing. There were months that they missed and they have raised their rates as well because they know they are the only service. The only bad reviews from our rental have been due to spa cleaning. !!! Their tech doesn't even care to inform their office he won't show up. This company has really gone downhill. They are extremely hard to get a hold of and very slow to return calls. Despite their voice message saying they are open 7 days a week, they have denied coming out on weekends saying they don't work weekends. They grumble when they have to replace parts under warranty and will get you however they can. My last repair was a warranty repair on a part (heater relay board) that has gone out multiple times now. They told me they would charge me $55 for the labor and turned around and charged me $125! I asked Tammy for a refund of $70 and she refused saying that Megan got it wrong?! Not my fault. They also said if the part goes out again, they will charge me to replace a whole retro-fit kit including the control board and top side! Fix something that's not broken?!? Again, they will try and get you however they can. Very unprofessional. Very disappointed. I would not recommend them and wouldn't have used them except they are replacing parts under warranty. This company is terrible. I needed to get leaking pumped fixed before last winter and I called them to come out a give me a quote to fix it. The repair man was there for less then 5 minutes, opened the hatch and looked at it then left. Maybe a couple weeks later I received the quote to replace the entire pump for more than $700. I said no thank you. I only needed pump seals that cost me $30 on amazon. I fixed it myself and it's ran perfectly ever since. If that wasn't them trying to steal my money then this surely is. It is now spring and 7 months later since I got their rip off of a quote. I receive an email from them asking if I'd like to proceed with going through with the work. As much as I appreciated them reaching out months later still after my money I pretty much told them to kick rocks. I look at my bank statement that night and they had charged my account $95... for what?! I had to cancel my card and file a dispute to which I'm still waiting on a card and my money back because these people want to screw anyone over that they can. This place sucks read more

WOW.! Such a great TUB!!! I wish I could have one like this at my house.! We stayed at an Airbnb at Big Bear Lake and were in the spa day and night! The water temperature was perfect! So clean and spotless. The bubbles and massage pressures were individual so each seat could have their own style. I loved mine strong and my Fiancé liked his less strong and relaxing. Great Job! Seems a waste of time to add another bad review... but these guys are bad. Owner is a liar and accounting will continue to bill you even after canceling service. Probably their company policy to continue billing monthly until you make 4 calls to get it stopped. They figure you'll get tired. Problem is we've tired other SPA services in Big Bear and none too good. Timberline Spas were actually worse. No liars, but slow to zero service. Not sure where to go in Big Bear for this service. Certainly an opening in the area for a good ethical Spa Dealer. Come to think of it... most business' in Big Bear are pretty dirty. Just don't go to Big Bear Lake and you should be good. read more
