First time in this Pizza King. I understand it's an Indiana staple. This was across the way from Ben's and I needed something on my stomach. Parking lot is small but there was plenty of room beings it wasn't very busy. Getting prompt service wasn't a problem. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza with a drink and garlic butter. I dined inside this visit and it was clean and organized. It's small but gives you that Pizzaria vibe. It was about a 20 minute wait for the pizza, it was cooked well and had a good crunch. I do like the shredded pepperoni vs round. I wish more places did this, only here and Arnies in New Albany does this shredded pepperoni. It does in a way taste like school cafeteria pizza but, I'm not complaining. I do like the pizza here and plan to return someday when in the area. read more

I was told this was the best pizza in Indiana, well, OK that is a bet I am willing to take to see if it is true. Ordered a variety of things such as the Meat ball sub (Vienna roll with meatballs, marinara, mozzarella, provolone and onion), the Boneless wings with buffalo sauce, and the BBQ pizza: sausage, cheese, onions and BBQ sauce. The pizza crust is thin and cracker-y like Chicago tavern style and it was just OK, I like a bit more chew to my crust. The wings were fine, your basic nugget with sauce, nothing bad, nothing great. The sub was good, I liked the bread used and the meatballs were a good size and very flavorful. The only thing I had an issue with is that this place really likes to use onion. And not just onion, big pieces of raw onion. It was a lot and really dominated the flavor of the food. It was so heavy handed that were I to come back I would ask to leave it off entirely because I dont even trust that they would listen to a request of "light onion". Placed a pretty large loader today over $200 as a reward for one of our teams and we never received our order. After waiting for over an hour past the delivery window of 7:15 PM and the tracking showing that the delivery person was still at the store. We reached out to Pizza King and learned that they apparently gave our food to a random person, not the person who was supposed to be delivering our food and was told that the owner didn't feel like remaking the order after they were the ones they being pizza king gave our food to the incorrect delivery person. How do you as a business not make sure that you're giving out food to the correct delivery people when you're using a third-party delivery service. Completely unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous that our team is the one to suffer because of pizza kings mistakes and negligence. read more

I received a burnt pizza, I filled out their form in hopes to have someone reach out and they still have yet to contact me back. Our pizza was baked on top of other burnt toppings and it was incredibly bitter tasting due to all the black charcoal bits all over my pizza. Pizza king is a popular Jeffersonville Indiana pizza establishment that locals of that area me the Lousiville, Kentucky area have developed a following for. Being from Lousiville I'm not really in the area that pizza king resides in too often. So my availability to try this establishment out isn't too often available. I did finally get to try this place ironically while hosting a lock in for my daughters 8th grade graduation class. We knew we wanted pizza for the all night event and when I called the person who was gonna grab my pizza order they said they where in Jeffersonville I made the call to try pizza king. The staff and worked were very friendly as we places an extremely large order. The pickup went smooth and they had our large order ready on time and accurately. The pizza is thin slices and square cut (I've heard this Called Saint Louis style and Louisville style). We sample the big three toppings of cheese, pepperoni and sausage. Everyone appeared to be a fan and enjoy the pizza. The small square slices (a personal preference for me anyways) made it perfect for 20 plus 14 year olds to stop by and grab a snack at various points of the night or early morning. For me I enjoyed the pizza. The pizza. Had a solid flavor and some good sauce. I can see why they have a nice little local following. Overall this was an enjoyable and good experience. I'll have to stop in and dine inside one day while visiting Jeffersonville. They did a great job catering for our large 8th grade gym Lock in event. read more

The sauce is quite simply tomato paste watered down enough to spread. Pepperoni at Pizza King is not slices of round disc, it is finely chopped/diced/ground pieces of pepperoni. Peppers are similar in size but they start out as dehydrated chips. Mushrooms are canned, bacon is like the pepperoni. Don't misunderstand these are some of the things that make Pizza King what it is, AWESOME! The topper of all is the cutting of the pizza is in little squares. Let me start by saying I love pizza . And pizza king is an Indiana favorite . It is located in Jeffersonville about 5 mins from my house . I remember visiting here when I was a kid . First thing is the pizza . It is out of this world. Always hot and fresh and served with a smile. I've never gotten bad pizza let alone bad service from this place . The location they are in now is across the street from Moby dick right off of 10th Street in a rather new building. It is very clean and always in tip top shape ! I have even asked them to turn cartoons on for my Children as we enjoyed dinner and they did with absolutely no hesitation !! Second thing is the menu !! EXPLORE IT !! MIX IT UP !!! I ventured out and got a Texas BBQ strombli. Omg it was delish !! Perfect amount of BBQ sauce , slivers of grilled onions and sausage and peppers on a Vienna loaf . I was not at all disappointed. My family enjoyed the beer cheese and pretzel bread sticks. Lastly .. the main thing that will run me out of a place quicker than anything is a nasty restroom , but their restroom was in tip top shape as well as the rest of the restaurant. After three years in Louisville, I finally ventured over to Indiana to try Pizza King. My wife has been hyping it up from many childhood visits, so I was excited to give it a shot. We ordered a 14" pepperoni pizza for both of us to share. It was plenty of food and we took a few pieces home with us. The pizza is a thin crust and is cut into smaller rectangle slices, which makes it easy to share and makes sense for groups. Pizza pros: great flavor, good crisp on the crust, diced pepperoni was bountiful throughout. Pizza cons: very greasy in the middle, crust slightly burnt on the outer rim. The service was fast and friendly. I've heard rumors and rumblings that the New Albany location is better and has a train that brings your drinks to you, but I still enjoyed the experience. There are plenty of better pizza options in Louisville, but if your looking for the greasy comfort of an old fashioned pie at a decent price, this could be the spot for you. read more

This is the best thin crust pizza I can find anywhere I have lived, live now or have traveled to. Of course their thin crust is the only crust choice they have so they do it very well. The toppings are chopped very finely, diced if you will and it really works, extremely tasty that way. Dining in is a unique experience as well. Each booth has it's own mini TV which costs a quarter but you're not there long enough for that to be a concern. The booth walls are very high for added privacy too. read more

Awesomely good. I've always loved Pizza King but hadn't tried this location until moving to Jeffersonville a few years ago. My husband and I usually keep it pretty simple with pepperoni and sausage. The crust is a little sweet, which I like, and it also has a hint of a wood-fired oven taste as well, which makes a great combination.
