I rarely use dry cleaning services, so I don't have much to compare my experience to. I needed a place that would dry clean cushions and messaged several other dry cleaners. Beasley was the only one that said they could do it. The quote over the phone was reasonable and ended up being the exact price I needed to pay. The cushions I had cleaned have a sort of delicate fabric so I was worried that it could get damaged. The gentleman working there also warned me that the stuffings could sometimes get misshapen and that they would open up the stitching to fix it (if necessary, for a little bit of extra charge). They didn't need to fix anything. My cushions were ready when quoted and put into a nice carry bag. I would give 5 stars, but I noticed there was some condensation in the bag when I got home. It must have been still hot when placed inside, which concerns me because mold can grow in cushions! I left it out to dry some more so we'll see. read more

I have a love and hate relationship when it comes to laundry services ! Parking was plentiful in a small shopping strip off the 56 Freeway. Perfect for me since I live close-by. I read past Yelp reviews about this place and honestly it didn't look too promising. I like living on the edge though and hey why knock it until you try it. I conveniently live a few minutes away from here, so that was the deciding factor for me. Other reviewers seemed to complain about the prices, but I'd do my research first if that is an issue and clarify with the employees once you're there so there's no misunderstanding. It's Torrey Highlands so unfortunately, you're also paying for the location. Doh ! Customer service: The Asian lady that assisted me was pretty nice and attentive. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I've only been here a handful of times to dry clean a few jackets and each time was quick and stress-free. Their promised pick-up times were always accurate so I can't complain. I think most of the negative reviews are for alterations or major damage/stains to fabrics, which I never had to begin with. I had two 5' Macy's cotton and polyester white round table clothes to be cleaned before the holidays. It is my fault for not asking the price before I dropped them off but I've been going here for years and I've never suffered this sticker shock. $35 each to laundry the tables clothes or $70 total! I would have given two stars but I do fault myself for not asking upfront. And the real shame is, at the beginning of the quarantine I posted on our neighborhood FB page to keep using this dry cleaner for household goods since they are a small family business and I wanted to help out. Now I feel bad thinking one of my neighbors might've followed my advice and just got hit with a massive bill. read more

I've been using this cleaners for 3 years now and I've noticed that they launder instead of dry cleaning some items. I've overlooked some of this as they appeared ok, but recently they laundered a very expensive pair of jeans that ended up shrinking so bad,I could not even zip them. I had to throw them out. If I don't want nice things to shrink, I take them to be dry cleaned. I can launder my own clothes but water and heat can shrink..hence the need for dry cleaning. I shouldn't have to specify dry clean ONLY when I bring things in. I was very upset and told them so. I won't be taking my business there any more. read more

It cost me $48 to dry clean 8 items. I could not believe it. I told the woman i forgot my coupon at home and she said they would not have accepted coupon anyway b/c you have to present the coupon when you FIRST drop off the clothes. WHAT!!!! She said it's b/c when you drop off clothes, they give you print out receipt of items you dropped off and the charge. I looked at my original rcpt that i had when i dropped of the clothes and there were NO prices on it. I understand if a customer doesn't have a coupon on hand to honor it. But I would have driven home to get the coupon and get some sort of discount on the $48 bill. To top it off, one of my dressy shirts was damaged and 2 of the sweaters still had stains that weren't removed :( read more

Brought in curtains to have hemmed was quoted $15 total and I go to pick up and total is now $30. When I dropped off he could have said $15 each. It was a simple job and now I'm just pissed for thinking it was less. This was the third time I've been here. I've also brought in clothes some this place is across street from my house and for 5-6 items it was over $60!!! So overpriced!! I'd rather drive farther cause this is ridiculous!! read more

If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. I brought in a few items of clothing to be dry cleaned. I got them back EXACTLY how I brought them in. When I pointed out the stain on one shirt they didn't admit to their mistake of not even trying to clean it. I could have dabbed water and cleaned it better than that. On top of all that, I was quoted a price far less than I ended up paying for this horrible service. Very unprofessional. Do not care about customers. VERY greedy. This may sound harsh but it really isn't. 10/10 would NOT recommend. read more

We live nearby and have used Beasley Cleaners many times over the past 5 years. They do a decent job on dry cleaning, and although it's a bit expensive, it's convenient so we have kept using them. I brought my son's pants in to be altered for a wedding in October - we asked them to take in the waist and shorten them about an inch, and we brought our son in to have them pinned. They charged $46 but we needed the pants for the wedding so we just paid it. Unfortunately, they totally botched the pants. They didn't take in the waist at all and shortened them a solid 3". I brought the pants back after the wedding (probably 3-4 weeks later, we are busy!), and they told me they would have the owner call me to work something out. They never called me, so we went back a few weeks later, and they told us it was too late to do anything about it. I would have been happy with even a partial refund or at the very least if they actually fixed the pants (although the wedding obviously already happened), but they offered nothing. Very frustrating especially since we have been good customers over the past 5 years. read more

The gentleman is always very nice. I go there for my cleaners and alterations. It is a little more then other places, but they do a good job. Be careful with alterations. A woman took my alterations and pinned me.. only to find out after she wasn't the seamstress.. when I asked for a price she said she couldn't quote me exactly but tried to give me a ballpark figure. At this point my clothes were pinned or I would have gone somewhere else since I couldn't get a direct answer. When I came to pickup my three garnets .. the total was over $75!! 3x more than the ballpark range. The gentlemen there just stared at me when I told him and didn't say anything. Will not be going back even though we live right across the street. Too bad, it could have been a very convenient place to use. read more

AVOID this cleaners at all costs. It's run by people who mislead and put the customer last. The other bad reviews are not exaggerations. I went there the other day to get a quote on altering drapes and getting them pressed. I come back a week later to find out the charges are almost 4 Times what I was quoted and agreed to! The owner proceeds to admit that he didn't specify he was quoting me per drape in addition to not clearly telling me the pressing would be in addition to and not part of the original quote. I ask him to do right by the customer and give me the drapes for what he originally quoted me. He waffles and ultimately refuses. He also lies to my face and says he's not the owner and can't make these decisions. Long story short, after a lot of back and forth he offered to give me a fractional discount which I was not happy with. I remind him his biz can't afford anymore bad reviews and that's just what he'll get if he doesn't do right by the customer. After hearing that he takes back the minuscule discount he offered me and makes me pay the original price! He also scoffed at the fact I brought up Yelp and tells me nobody uses it anyway. Businesses like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. I urge anybody that's had a bad experience with this dry cleaners to come forward and write a negative review. read more

I only took my clothes to this store for a couple of months. During that time, they repeatedly crushed the top button of my shirts when pressing them. When I asked them to sew a new button, they would sew a button that was too big for the shirt hole. One time, they barely sewed it on and it ended up falling off half way through my day. The final straw was when they returned one of my shirts to me ripped at the bottom. Because it was below my belt line, I decided I would just wear the shirt. During the day, I discovered that they also stained the arm of my sleeve with some chemical or something. When I took it back to them to have them pay for the shirt or at least give me store credit, they refused to do anything because I wore the shirt. Even though I spent hundreds of dollars there in a couple months, they decided it was better to lose a customer than to fix their mistake. read more

Extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience today at this "four-star" business. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, customer service. They didn't remove the mere ketchup stains that I paid $21 dollars for them to do on my one t-shirt and shorts, but rather ruined the clothing items completely! The frugal employees would not compensate me for the damages and still forced me to pay for them damaging my clothes. This place is expensive! Everything was clean, but due to the price I probably won't go back. Cleaning a Queen comforter was $30 (maybe that's standard??), but a 3 piece suit was $18. Seems like a lot. read more

This place treats their customers like trash. I went there with 4 items knowing they were expensive because I looked at their cost online. They are not upfront or honest about the cost when they take the clothes from you and then when you pick them up and pay they overcharge and then proceed to argue with you if you say anything. Avoid this place at all costs. The lady working there was extremely rude too. At this point I'm more disappointed with the way she talked to me rather than the money. They seem really efficient and organized: all clothes is recorded in the computer system, and the slip is neat and detailed. I had the dress for my sister's wedding altered here. When I dropped off the dress I asked her to give me an approximate price. "$20...maybe a little more." I said "oh, not $40 though?" and she said "no no no! Way less." Guess what?? The alterations cost $50 and were shoddily done with a frayed bottom. I cannot believe how awful the whole experience was. I did not have a good experience. My dress shirt came back with a spot that was not there when the shirt was dropped off. Vendor did not take responsibility and instead accused me of poor behavior. He finally refunded the cost of the cleaning for the dress shirt, but I believe it was begrudgingly done, and I lost the use of a dress shirt which was worth far more to me than the rebated cleaning cost. I would have wished for him to look at the spot at a minimum and make me whole as my preferred solution. I do not think this vendor offers customer focused service. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ALTERATIONS!!! I took a dress here to get bra cups sewn into a dress. I dropped my dress off on a Monday morning at 8am and was told I could pick it up Thursday. When I came back to pick up my dress Thursday at 10:30am, the guy (Clerk: hyo according to my receipt) told me my dress wasn't done because they couldn't find any bra cups. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! MY DRESS HAD BEEN SITTING THERE FOR MORE THAN 72 HOURS AND NOBODY EVEN BOTHERED TO CALL ME TO TELL ME THEY COULDN'T FIND BRA CUPS!!! I was LIVID! Clerk hyo's solution to the problem (and to me being upset) was HAVING THE NERVE to ask me if I could go out and find bra cups and bring them to him!!!!! Apparently the lady who does the alterations "went to 3 other places to try and find bra cups". DO NOT GO HERE! So unprofessional.
