We have gone to Elegant Cleaners for years, though after retirement, we have less need to go. We had been greeted by Brian, who always remembers our name, and even has our order ready once we walk in the door. I don't know how he does that? Brian is always friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. Last year, our son returned to San Diego and lived with us for a couple of months until he found a home. He is very particular about his clothes and we recommended Elegant. He agreed that it is a fine establishment and though he moved farther into the city, he continued to go to Elegant Cleaners because of its high standards of care. This is my to go to for dry cleaning. I discovered this place off Yelp reviews, decided to try my luck and...I like coming here. I usually head here after work and get there around 5:45-6pm give or take depending on traffic. It's right off the freeway and I never had a problem with parking. Normally I bring clothes that I've been guilty of holding on for a while and show the the stains I would like them to get out. A huge bunch of my clothes for work have to be dry cleaned - so v much relieved I found this place. Plus I have quite the fancier dresses now that there are so many social events going on - you need to make sure to look the part! The same gentleman who works there every time I've went always gives me a day that it would be available by and it's alright if you can't come that exact day but a few days later. I think it's been v affordable price range and for quality that I am forever a return client. It also made me realize that I need to bring stained clothes in sooner which I am unable to get out through use of the washing machine. read more

This one is right next to starbucks behind Chevron. Pretty easy to access and park. The best part is the price $3.50 for most items, a little more for blazers and dresses. This is extremely affordable in comparison to some of the other places in the neighborhood that'll charge you upwards of $7-10 for a single item (e.g., pant, blouse). The customer service is really nice, the owner tends to remember everyones names which is a nice touch. The turnaround time is pretty reasonable as well. So I've been telling all my friends about this dry cleaner in Scripps Ranch that I've been going to for the last 3 years. And even now living so far away, I would drive the extra miles just to have my clothes done there because I've always had a good experience and their pricing is great! Well, today they've brought my experience to another level which made me incline to share the experience with everyone. I brought my husband's clothes to them about a month ago and just never thought about picking them up until we have a wedding to attend this weekend. On a side note, my husband has been looking for his favorite pair of sunglasses and just couldn't figure out where he might have left them. Thinking we lost the pair already until today, when I picked up the dry cleaning, Brian behind the counter cheerfully handed me my clothes as soon as he saw me stepping through the door (bonus points: he remembers who I am and I never need a receipt to pick up my clothes) and then to my surprise, he also handed me the sunglasses that we've been searching everywhere for. Turns out hubby had left them inside his jacket's pocket while I didn't know and brought it to the dry cleaner. Not only did Brian had kept the sunglasses for the entire month for us, he remembered to give them back without me even asking (clearly I had no idea). Let's make this review quick and clean, much like the clothes washing and Elegant Cleaners. I have been bringing my suit here for 3 years now to get cleaned. They charge $6.50 for a sports coat and pants. The guy who works there is very nice and actually recognized me and my order before I showed him my ticket. Props for that. I also swear he is the only one that works here because I've NEVER seen anyone else! Whenever you drop something off, he asks if you want a rush on it and without a rush, it's a very painless process. I always had a mindset that dry cleaning was expensive.
