I wanted to find a small diamond cross necklace to wear in addition to my daily small diamond station necklace, but I wanted it to be a horizontally set one (vs like a charm). This was my second jewelry stop, and they were WONDERFUL. They listened to exactly what I wanted, and came up with the idea of purchasing a small dangling cross and just resetting it along with two small diamonds on the side to match my other chain. So my wedding ring was essentially a very unique ring we found at an antique store. we knew it was really just fake costume jewelry but i loved the way it looked. the goal being one day to replace it with a real one. well unfortunately a part of the band broke and the ring would no longer stay on my finger. my husband offered to get me a replacement but i just love how this fake one looked. yesterday 7/8/17 we began our search. we had planned on stopping at several jewelers in the area. First i knew we had to try Beasley's. They have great recommendations and reviews online and i have great memories of stopping in every christmas during the downtown holiday events since i was a child. So glad we did! We pull in and they are pleasantly quite busy. all the sales ladies are busy working away with clients. Then Lisa the owner appears and greets us immediately. she asks what she can do to help us in our visit and i pull out the damaged ring. i explain that i know it is not real but would really appreciate if they were able to make a real one! i tell her im fine with the metal being real and the stones from fake one taken out and set into the new one. she carefully looks over it and explains that she CAN do anything we want. however, she does not think i will like the final product with fake stones because these are so poorly made they will not look correct when transferred. Lisa looked through not one but five ring setting books to find the exact ring style! she never gave up!! showing real commitment to getting exactly what i wanted. She helped us find stones that matched the fake ones. and explained the pros/cons of each metal option for the band and how to get insurance on the ring. We never felt pressured to by. she never even asked "do you want it?" she just listed out the total cost with a break down of exactly where each dollar would go! i never felt like i was too poor or not good enough to be in their store like i have felt at other places. She seemed to genuinely care about me being happy with a unique ring! in fact many jewelers we spoke to before this always tried to push diamonds for wedding bands and Lisa seemed to love that we were getting different stones. Citrines to be exact! Anyway of course we decided to make a purchase! Im so excited and can not wait for my ring to be finished! the whole process was so smooth! I really insist you at least go in, check them out and give them a chance! real family owned business! I'm adjusting my review based on a recent experience. The engagement ring I bought three years ago was made for a diamond and we installed a sapphire, instead. Every few months, the stone became loose. Every time, they gladly adjusted the prongs and cleaned it for free. Eventually, it got worse. After an adjustment, my wife noticed that the sapphire was chipped beneath one of the prongs. Beasleys did not mention it and my wife decided to live with it as the prong covered the damage. A few months later, that same prong broke entirely. Beasleys recommended filing an insurance claim on the setting only and helped us send the ring off to Mark Schneider Design for repair. Mark's team found a problem - the shape of the sapphire required modified prongs for proper support. The ring was modified accordingly and one of the prongs entirely masks the damage to the stone. Further, the stone sits lower, leaving it less exposed. Overall, the ring looks better than ever thanks to Mark's team. I'm not certain that the original mounting explains the chipped stone, but I can't shake the suspicion (and disappointment). Beasleys was pleasant to work with throughout, so 4 stars it is! read more

I needed a ring redone, it was my grandmothers and I also wanted it to have another stone put in. Took to to Beasley's, they hooked it up and did everything I wanted, added a new band and did it all at a very good price. I also had a totally random request and Ale (sorry if i spelled this wrong) went out of her way to hook me up and get it to me. They appraised the ring, got it done quickly, it was like dealing with a friend more then just a business transaction. Couldn't be happier! read more

Horrible my husband bought me an expensive necklace and I asked to make sure that it was sturdy and strong & tough because I'm not good about changing necklaces between workouts and sleep and he said it was versus my friends who sleep in & w/o inin cheapKendra Scott. It lasted less than a week. HGe was too proud to call them out on their cheapness so what a waste of money we could have used on anything else. Beasley's is a Lewisville Institution! They created a custom wedding set for my wife when we were married in '93. They have repaired, cleaned and resized ALL of our jewelry. It's a scary thing to drop off your family items heirlooms and treasures, NO RESERVATIONS dealing with Beasley's. They take care of your items like it was their own, and do AMAZING work! They recently rebuilt my wedding band, after it had to be cut off by the fire department because of swelling. They made it brand new, even restoring the engraving on the inside of the band. If you want great, honest and competent work. If you want to be at peace knowing your items are in safe hands and what you get back is what you left at the shop (It happens at other shops folks). My husband purchased my engagement ring from Beasley's. It is a family owned shop in Lewisville (where my hubbs is from). They did a wonderful job of taking the things he liked from several different rings and custom designing my ring. I could have never imagined anything like it and it is truly beautiful. Apparently they went back to the drawing board a couple of times before providing the finished product because the jeweler said "I wouldn't expect my daughter to wear that" about the first two rings! When it came time to purchase my husband's wedding band, he wanted something unique as well. His Dad had given him the wedding band that he was married with (he now wears another family heirloom) and my husband took it to Beasley's and once again went to work designing a custom ring for himself. Lisa and the team are amazing. Walking in, you're a bit surprised by the array of taxidermied animal heads and antique rifles on the walls. Take a moment to look into the cases, however, and you will find the most unique ring designs for reasonable prices I've ever seen. I took in three bags of loose beads that were my mother's and in her jewelry box to be restrung so I could give them to my daughters for Christmas. They were separated into three ziplock bags and I let them know that I wasn't sure how many of each necklace were missing the beads. When I picked the three necklaces up today, not only was the employee incredibly rude but one of the necklaces was missing so many beads it could not even be worn, it needed to have beads added to make it a necklace! and instead of even placing the finished necklaces in a box or bag, she handed them back in the zip lock bags and told me it would be 100.00! When I mentioned that the necklace could not be worn, she told me they could start over again and add beads and would charge me again! I will NEVER go there again. I have lived in the area for 40 years and want to support small businesses that have been here, but after that experience I will never be treated like that again. There is certainly not a shortage of jewelry stores in the area anymore. Take your business elsewhere! read more
