This place is a hidden gem for the West side. It has various activities all year round. Some of their events are Sunflowers and pumpkins (Fall?) festival and various u-picks like Strawberry picking, Raspberries picking, and Apple picking. I've been wanting to come in and try a strawberry parfait ever since I saw one advertised on Facebook. I ended up passing on the parfait after learning it was $8. I was very happy to pick up some fresh, local, produce though and a few fun extras as well (like homemade soda and bbq sauce!). My favorite part was that they had little grocery carts with a seat spot for my toddler. This might seem small but it was so helpful for me since it meant not having to chase my little one around the store or having to get out my stroller. I'm excited to come back for more produce in the future and hopefully to participate in some of their fun events! read more

What a lovely little place! My husband and I were eager to try out Beasley's since we've tried so many other orchards in the area in prior years. We opted to go on a weekday in an effort to avoid the crowds and it was a solid decision- although I have to wonder if we missed out on some elements they would have running during the weekends. We were straight smitten by their darling cider bar and had to try out the award winning cider (voted best cider in Indiana)!! We also enjoyed their hayride which wound around the orchard and pumpkin patch. It was a steel for only $3 a person and the perfect fall activity! The employees we interacted with were lovely and we couldn't have been treated better. The only thing that would have made this trip better was some fresh baked goods, which were sadly no where to be found. This was my first visit to Beasley's Orchards and I must say that I was very pleased with my visit. Not only do they have an orchard, but there was a decent sized parking area, a play area and corn maze (both require a fee), and a store. The store has a sampling of apples and garden vegetables, honeys, jellies, apple slushies and cider, and a bakery that makes pies and cobbler. Outside, pumpkins and mums are for sale too. I had a great time at the Heartland Apple Festival and wished I could have stayed a little longer. It was $5 to park (lots of open spaces and it's not a far walk to all the festivities) and we were given a map/brochure of all the activities, vendors, etc. We were told to start at the admissions tent where you buy wristbands for each activity you wanted to partake in. That was very organized. For each activity there was a corresponding wristband of different colors or you could spend a little extra for a pass that covered everything. Of course you would pay an additional fee for something you took home like a pumpkin, apples, or something from their market store. Each year Beasley's creates a spectacular themed corn maze. This year's was Circle City Sports, and I enjoyed viewing photos of the past designs in their shop. We tried out the corn maze and attempted to complete the questions on the sheets that would lead you through it. We had some difficulties though because sometimes the sheet was not proofread well, leading us in the wrong direction. We managed to get through the whole thing but still missed a number somehow. The "passport" sheets were pretty cute but I didn't care for all the themes- Sports, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the Bible, Interactive... some of the questions that we had I would say the average person wouldn't know. Maybe we should have tried the toddler version. I also enjoyed the hayride, seeing all the fields and how big the orchard is. There was an option to stop and pick pumpkins to purchase but they looked pretty picked over. We were running short on time and it was about to rain so we quickly went through the market store. Such a cute place! I already want to come back to try some of their fresh produce. The place was pretty crammed but the prices seemed reasonable. You could also purchase pumpkins outside instead of going to pick them yourself. I had a great day but overall it was a little pricey just for a couple of hours because of the additional parking fee. I couldn't imagine the price if I had brought a family. I didn't buy any merchandise but I wish it was warmer to try the apple cider slushie. I was disappointed that I couldn't find any warm apple cider otherwise I would have bought a cup to try. I would totally come back next year to do it all again. read more

I have been going to Beasley's Orchards ever since I was a little kid. It is so much fun even 15 years later! I go every year for the pumpkin patch and yummy apple cider. They have a cute little market also with apples, jams, pumpkins, etc. This year I found out they added a sunflower field! I love sunflowers and I have never had the chance to go to a sunflower field so I jumped at the opportunity! And wow! The field is huge with all kinds of different sunflowers. This is a neat orchard on the west side. There was some kind of big fall festival going on so they were charging $5 for parking. When I told them I was just buying a pumpkin, they let me through without having to pay. There was a large selection of pumpkins of different sizes which was nice. Came for the Sunflower Festival and had an amazing time! Staff was friendly and welcoming. There were rows and rows of beautiful sunflowers to choose from as well as cute photo ops! The barnyard bonanza was open for the kiddos admission is $5 a person but that includes a sunflower stem for each person! We will definitely come back!! I had heard of this orchard but hadn't had a chance to go. I was thinking they would just have apples. It's not far from Avon and Plainfield. It turns out it's like a Cracker Barrel store less the toys and clothes. They also have fresh in season vegetables. I found great selection of pickles. They have hot pickles and sweet and regular. Also a wide array of jams, jelly, and butters so I got some pumpkin butter. Also they have an Apple cider bar look great but I got there right before closing. Picked up some really nice tomatoes as well. At the checkout I couldn't help but notice Reese flavored peanuts. They also had pickle flavored ones. May be the only place you can find that. Also tons of hanging plants outside, but I don't have a place to hang them. Excellent diet root beer in the cooler as well. Overall great place to shop and reasonable prices. read more

I enjoyed my first trip to Beasley's, I'm sure it won't be the last. The orchard is beautiful and the store is really cute and filled with great fall gift items. I got an Apple cider slushie that was delicious and share some kettle corn with friends. There are some fun activities for families and kids. The apple cannons looked like a lot of fun but it seemed overpriced. The corn maze also was an extra cost. The pumpkins seemed a more expensive compared to what I've seen elsewhere. We just ended up picking some apples. They had a list of which apples were currently available and what apples would be best for baking, which I thought was really helpful. read more

What a lovely orchard. Spent a Saturday afternoon enjoying the orchard. There are several places for kids to play including the haystack. I thought about trying to climb to the top and decided not too. Lol. The produce available in the store is fresh and reasonable. I purchased a green tomato and zucchini. I also had the apple cider slushy which was very tasty. Outside they had a corn stand tat you can top it Mexican style or with butter. I picked up a Carmel Apple and had it a couple of days later. We just got back from a field trip to Beasley's Orchard and I am thoroughly impressed. Our guide, Miss Jill was extremely kind, patient, and thorough in explaining to the children what goes on behind the scenes at the orchard. The orchard itself is wonderful and just keeps getting better as the years go on. The store has so many options for natural, high quality foods. I've bought sorghum, honey, vegetables, and, of course, apples from the store. They're prices are reasonable and I'm never disappointed with my purchases from there. The staff is always kind and extremely knowledgeable in helping you figure out which kind of apple you should choose for your u-pick experience. This is THE orchard to go to this fall! My friends and I went here during their Dog Daze event (so we got to see cute, adoptable puppied too) and had a blast. With their combo tickt ($12), we went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch, solved the corn maze-which was pretty challenging-and used the apple cannon. That's right, we sent apples flying and smashing into metal targets and it was by far the highlight of our day This activity alone is worth the visit to Beasley's, plus their apple slushies are pretty great. My 5 year old son loved this place! We spent the whole day here. They have plenty to keep your kids occupied. He loved the barnyard basketball and the gigantic jumping pillow. I even was able to jump with him and even for an adult it's fun! There is also an Apple launcher gun. He could've honestly stayed there all day. However we only got 5 apples with our wrist band purchase. It was $12 a person for multiple attractions which turned out worth it in the long run! We have taken our children to Beasley's for pumpkins and apples every year for the past 20 plus years. Even though our kids are now grown they still make a point to be home for a trip to Beasley's in the fall for the ride out to the pumpkin patch. You might get cheaper pumpkins at a discount store but the memories you make here are worth every dollar you pay. We also like to think of it as supporting to keep the family farm alive. My husband and I just made a special trip out there for a bag of fresh gala apples. They tasted like pure heaven. Of course I also had to buy an apple cider slushy. They are fantastic! This year for the first time we went out for the you pick strawberries. The taste of them was unbelievable. It took me right back to my childhood. We will make this a new annual tradition now also. This is the second year I have been to Beasley's for apple picking. The apples are always delicious. They have many activities for children and families. A corn maze, hay ride, apple cannon, and a jumping pad are just some of the fun. They have several large festival weekends throughout the fall. One of the downsides for me is the prices in the market on a few of the items seem high. The other downside is this year it was very hard to find any ladders. I cannot wait to enjoy my apples, sweet potatoes, and red potatoes that were purchased today. Apple slushie was A+ like always and the smells from the kitchen could have kept me all day. I am so glad that there is no shortage of great orchards and places to buy great local produce in the Indianapolis area. I found another one last weekend! Beasley's is in the Danville area, not too far from Avon and US 36. I was floored when I pulled into the property and saw how amazing it was. Not only were there many Apple trees, but there were all kinds of activities for kids and even carnival concessions! Not to mention, outside of the store, they had just about any kind of pumpkin you can think of. The store was bigger than I expected and their produce selection was amazing. They also had an incredible selection of jams, jellies, sauces, salsas, and dressings. But their best part was their cider bar. They had both hot and cold cider for sale. And they also sell cold cider to go as well as their own hard cider. And they also had baked goods for sale. I couldn't get a good pic of that without a glare. I was hoping they'd have done Apple cider donuts, but I didn't see any. I got a mini Dutch Apple Pie, a gallon of cider and some Apple Butter. Needless to say, it was a great place! Beasley's has good apples and merchandise. They are not set up to do the tours. They have no permanent restrooms. They only have fifthly, temporary restrooms that appear to have not been emptied in weeks or longer. I can not believe they require children to use the restroom in such filth. So much for the Christmas spirit!! These people are heartless!! I am from Indianapolis and now live out of state over 1,000 miles away. In October 2023 I visited my sister who lives in Woodland Terrace (assisted living). Woodland Terrace is almost across the street from Beasley's....probably less than a minute from point to point. I took my sister to Beasley's (she loves their apple cider) and purchased cider along with several other goodies. My sister has MS and cannot drive. I called Beasley's this morning and spoke with 2 different people, literally "begging" them to drop off a gallon of apple cider plus some of their baked goods at Woodland Terrace's front desk, paying them for goods & services of course....a task that would take about 5 minutes. Just a little something my sister could enjoy during the Holidays. Beasley's gave a HARD FIRM NO. I then asked if they would do Door Dash, to which they gave another HARD NO, adding they have no intention of implementing Door Dash. I wasn't asking for anything free, just a small gesture to help make my sister's Holidays brighter. Beasley's you are an incredible disappointment! You should be embarrassed by your lack of compassion!!! read more

Honestly this place was great and I would rate it 5 stars but was extremely disappointed at the lack of social distancing and barely anyone wearing masks (including workers). If covid regulations were actually enforced - and I do not mean just by putting 'social distancing' signs up for show - I would've enjoyed my time better. I passed by a hayride, which held about 40 people, and didn't see a single person wearing a mask while sitting side by side. If you're worried about crowds, others not wearing masks, social distancing, then I'd highly recommend not going on a weekend. read more

Let me start out by saying I'm a sucker for fall. This pale irish skin is always happy with it's not just acceptable, but encouraged to cover up when going outside. I love apples, cider, pumpkins, hay bales, corn mazes, mulled wine, stew, and chili. It was pretty much inevitable that I would love the fall festival at Beasley's. This corn maze was awesome. This was the first one I've been to that was planted into the maze pattern and not grown as a whole field and then cut, so that was pretty cool. As you do the maze, you get to markers. At each marker you answer a question on a sheet you get at the maze entrance and if you answer correctly, you are sent the shorter direction through the maze. There are four miles of trails through the maze, so it can make a difference! It took us around 30-45 min to get through the maze. The corn also blocks the wind, so it's warmer inside the maze than it is out at the farm. It's $8 per adult to go through the maze, and something less for kids (I don't have them, so I didn't pay attention). Today they were also giving out plastic bags to tie over your shoes to protect from the mud throughout the maze. HOT TIP - you are not too cool for the plastic bags. Take them and be happy you did. We didn't do the hay ride or the u-pick pumpkins, but we did walk around and look at the vendors there for the festival, and talked to the very nice people Carousel Winery who were there doing tastings. We bought some reasonably priced mums ($6.99 for a pretty big sized one), of course a big bag of apples, some apple cider, and an AWESOME caramel apple with walnuts. The band that was playing was really good and helped you forget that it was a little too cold outside. The only downside was that they charge $5 for parking. That put a bad taste in our mouth right off the bat, as we drove all the way from the far east side of Indy to go and nothing on the website mentioned the parking charge, but I do understand that it's their festival weekends right now and it isn't free to plant 7 acres of field just for corn maze, so we paid it, but it still would have been nice to know ahead of time. Regardless, I love fall, corn mazes, and apple cider and the fall festival at Beasley's really delivered. read more

The store has loads of great stuff - lots of apples (duh), other fresh produce, canned preserves, homemade noodles, and backed good. They also have a cider bar where hot cider can be purchased and a bakery where all those delicious apple products are born. I love this place. I have been going here for years with my family and we always have a good time. Their festival that they have is a blast and the kids will love it. As a teen, I love the apples. The honeycrisp apples are the best. They are so juicy. If you are looking for some killer apple cider, come here. They have the best apple cider on this planet. It may be expensive, but it is 100% worth it. They also have apple cider slushies which are my personal favorite. If you ever decide to come here, get an apple cider slushy.
