The owner is an incredibly kind, genuine man from Atlanta who brought authentic Southern barbecue to Folsom, and it shows in every bite. Honestly, I've tried just about everything on the menu, and I have yet to find anything that wasn't amazing. Belly Barbecue is in a league of its own, and there's simply nothing else like it anywhere around here. The only downside to Belly Barbecue being so amazing, they run out of food! The pork ribs had great flavor with perfect tenderness and just the right amount of bite. The brisket was the star of the meal. It had an excellent bark and reminded me of some of the best brisket I've had in Texas: simple salt and pepper seasoning done right. I also got my wife a beef rib and a side of collard greens to go. The customer service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back.
