The chicken is always seasoned right and there's a good amount in every entree. Ordering is as simple as 1,2,3. Pick an entree, pick your heat level, pick your sides. Done. The restaurant shares their parking lot with a few businesses, so parking could be a challenge. Their staff are always friendly not matter the time of day and there's good amount of seating inside as well as on the side "patio". Overall a great choice for a quick delicious meal. I've been a huge fan of Angry Chicken for years, and it used to be a weekly go-to spot for our family. Unfortunately, the overall value has gone down. They removed the self-serve sauce station, which was a big part of the experience, and the crinkle fries--which we loved--are no longer on the menu. The Yelp lunch special was a great deal for a big family is also gone free tender . These small changes have really affected the appeal and convenience we used to enjoy. Now, instead of coming weekly, we only visit every few months. I hope they consider bringing back some of what made this place special. read more

Popped in for lunch today and, as always, the chicken was flawless: crispy, juicy, spicy, and basically everything you want when you're plotting your next food coma. Only one tiny thing: the music. We started off with some K-pop, which was all good--peppy, bubblegum energy while I demolished my sandwich. Then out of nowhere, Josh Groban shows up and belts out a power ballad like he's personally narrating my emotional breakdown over hot chicken. Prices are higher and servings got smaller. When this place opened the chicken was massive on the sliders. Now the chicken is much smaller and they charge for sauce and the price is higher. Honestly it's good if ur willing to spend about 20$ for 2 sliders and fries but it won't fill you up. It's better of course than canes. The fries are not better than roosterz hot chicken fries but the sauce is better. I'd say roosterz is better in terms of protein quality than angry chicks now but before I think angry chickz led in chicken in the area by a huge margin. I just went today around 8 pm on a Friday. I don't know if it cause it's late. But I went into there and the first thing they did was looked at me for a bit and quietly said hi welcome in. I get it though, they are probably teenagers who are new to working. I feel like the customer service can definitely improve. The lobby was kinda dirty, some trash on the floor, the tables weren't really wiped off. The bathroom is questionable..it seems they haven't cleaned it in a while. I don't want to give it a 1 star because the food was pretty good. The service is fast. And pretty decent for the pricing. This place does have its cons and pros. Ethan and Preston are great, I've been here 10+ times over the years and it always hits different. Been to many similar chicken fried sandwich spots in town and this is among the best. The customer service here was excellent--super friendly staff! I ordered the Angry Mac Bowl, and the serving size was generous. While I enjoyed the flavors, I would recommend skipping the drizzle sauce on top as it was a bit too much for me. The bowl was a bit heavy for lunch, so next time I'll probably opt for a sandwich. When a stoner is cooking for you, you can rest assured you're in good hands. The food came out super fast. I barely had time to get some sauce and snap some pics. The staff was friendly and good tempered. The young lady that took the order was sweet and helpful. The two guys that cooked and prepped the food were super focused and quick. The dining area inside was spotless. Everything was clean and wiped off. Nothing out of place. There is also an outdoor dining area that seemed clean and peaceful at night and deadly hot during the day. The sandwiches are great. They were hot and actually made of chicken. Price is not cheap for a single person to just go out and eat. It is super good though. Prepared and topped with coleslaw and a pickle on a brioche bun. The coleslaw is good on the sandwich but I wouldn't order it as a side. The side was just lacking the flavor. The fries definitely make up for it. They were warm, crispy, and seasoned. Their Yelp deal from 1-4pm is legit! You really do get a complimentary thicc chicken tender on a slab of delicious brioche bread with pickles and your heat of choice. But you have to claim this IRL, can't do it via online order. I went with Medium heat for the chicken, and that was SO delicious. It definitely had a little kick but it was still light enough so I could enjoy the taste and flavors of the chicken. The chicken was SO juicy and tender...not the super crispy or breaded kind, and the flavor was so good. I was very satisfied with the portion size of everything, and they keep everything warm in black styrofoam containers and wrapped up with a cute lil Angry chickz plastic bag. There's plenty of parking that's shared with other shops in the same plaza. The shop itself is clean and has working bathrooms for customers only. Me and my boyfriend come here a lot and we spend $35-$40 every time, but we didn't feel valued as a customer.
