This place is a gem and worth every dollar spent! I've been to quite a bit of nail salon places in Concord/Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area. There are some that are good, but unfortunately some that makes you not want to treat yourself in getting your nails done. That was what happened to me last year. A place I will not name, just shellacked the acrylic powder on my nails extremely thick, making me look like I have some nail related abnormality. And as a people pleaser, I just decided to deal with it and cry on my way home. That experience made me not want to get any more manicures. Fast forward to now. I missed feeling pretty and got super inspired by the nail art that the IG algorithm threw at me. I wanted to treat myself to a manicure with some art to celebrate Lunar New Year. This was a last minute game day decision, so during my appointment at Beau Den Spa, I surprised the owner with a picture inspiration... and she went above and beyond! She could've told me "I can't do them within the time frame of our appointment" or "nope." She probably could say "oh hell no" and I'd completely understand. I even said she can simplify them...but she did it all! They are the best nails I've ever had! Not an exaggeration but legit! She is extremely talented and meticulous. If you ever want to get elaborate nail art done, this is the place to go. Just make sure to let them know in advance of the complexity so that they ensure ample time is set aside. My mother is a huge fan of their pedicures. It's the only place that I know in the area that provides the highest quality of service. They do not rush nor do they speed their massages. Their name fits their services. You do indeed feel that you're getting a spa treatment. There are probably cheaper places to get your nails done in the area, but this place is where the quality standards matches the price point.

I tried the gel-x set and it was a great experience here. There's a nice relaxing environment and the service is quick yet thorough. Pay with cash and get double stamps on their stamp card.

I have a hard time spending money on myself, but after an insane month and with a trip coming up, I decided to treat myself to a mani pedi. Right when you walk in you are greeted with kindness, made to feel comfortable, and there is calming music playing while you select your polish. There is a FANTASTIC assortment of colors to choose from, along with styles shown such as cat eye, and even a few designs painted to show french tips and other fun options. I've never had such wonderful choices, it makes me so excited to come back next time. The shop is small with only two workers, and yet they do the best job I've seen in years when it comes to nail salons. The customer service was also impeccable. I left for vacation early Wednesday morning and realized that weekend I needed a mani pedi. They're closed on Mondays, so I only had Tuesday. I left a message that was returned on Monday, even though they were closed. She let me know they were fully booked for Tuesday, and could fit me in Wednesday. I told her I was really hoping to get it done before vacation and she called her coworker and was able to get back to me and squeeze me in Tuesday morning. I knew I messed up not booking earlier, but her making it work made a huge difference in my trip and immediately showed me how amazing they are. The milk and honey pedicure came with a big bowl of flowers and citrus that was both gorgeous and calming. The ingredients were also used in the massage which was lovely. I got to see all the brand new packages of ingredients which is a great relief when so many places cut corners which is dangerous and unsanitary. Everything here was clean and comfortable. The pedicure was meticulous, and a timer was even set for the massage at the end. The manicure chairs were a welcome change from the usual nail salon chairs, much more comfortable to sit in. They had UV lights on each side so both hands could cure, which made the process flow smoother and quicker. They massaged with lotion at the end, but also put it on at the beginning so it could soak in which was great. They also used enough cuticle oil which is rare these days. The end results were fantastic. All in all it was incredible. I cannot express how important it is that the manicure and pedicure are not done at the same time. This is a small shop so that's not possible, and I don't think that they would even if they could which is fantastic. This allows you to fully relax, take a break, and actually enjoy your pedicure and massage, which is just as important as the actual nails for me. I never expected to write such a lengthy, glowing, immediate review, but this blew me out of the water for any kind of establishment not just a nail salon. Although it was pretty pricy this was well worth it. I am a new life long customer!

Decided to get my wedding nails done here after reading all the positive reviews, and so happy I came across this place. Not only was Kimmy attentive to my needs, she even asked me if my extensions looked even to me. Also, I got a chrome gel pedicure, which turned out great. I would have posted a picture, but I'm good off posting pics of my feet. LOL The pedicure also came with a 10min foot/leg massage, and you know it's legit cuz they pulled out the timer and everything.

Miranda gave me the perfect Gel-X set! The shape, length, and finish are exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be happier with my nails!

The salon is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and every detail shows they take pride in their work. During my pedicure, I noticed how meticulous the technician was. For my full set, Kimmie (the owner) introduced me to Gel-X, which has quickly become my new favorite! It lasts longer, feels natural, and doesn't lift when it grows out. I'm so happy to have found this place, it's now my go-to spa! The environment is relaxing, the service is excellent, and the team genuinely cares about their clients. This salon is by far the absolute best I have been to in years. The ladies at this establishment are so hospitable and focus on client care. Every time I come here I am greeted warmly and feel well taken care of. My favorite service is the pedicure because it is so relaxing and the technician always takes the time to make sure you are comfortable. I recently got a manicure + gel X set for the first time since I am used to always getting acrylic. It is definitely far less damaging than acrylic and I will be switching over to gel X. I highly recommend this salon due to their hospitality, cleanliness and professionalism. I will be re-booking!

I came here first my first time after a few bad experiences at my go to salon and I was blown away! Kimmie (the owner) I hope I spelled that correctly was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and did an amazing job on my nails. I got the gel x on my hands and gel on my toes! I believe a woman named Anne worked on my feet. My hands and feet were so soft after my treatment and when you get a pedicure you get a 10 minute foot and leg massage. Granted, they are a bit more expensive than my old salon but I go once a month and do not mind paying a little extra for a piece of mind and great treatment and beautiful hands and feet. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience at Beau Den. The salon is super clean, bright and modern, with all new chairs and equipment and soft, calming music playing. There is ample parking available right out front. I chose the Milk and Honey manicure and pedicure and both Amie and Kimmy worked together to make my experience super relaxing and luxurious. I felt extremely pampered as they took their time to give meticulous service. While it is a little more pricey than a typical nail salon, the services are very much like a spa service with long massages, scrubs, lotions, and paraffin wax treatments; definitely a more enhanced experience than most of the other nail salons in the area. Both my gel manicure and my pedicure still look great a week later! I am already looking forward to my next visit very soon. read more

If you're looking for an impeccable nail salon with excellent customer service this is the place to go! Kimmy did a full set gel x nails and they look absolutely stunning. She took her time on the designs and walked the through the organic products she uses. This is the first time going to a nail salon where I walked out 100% satisfied with the service I received. What wonderful experience! When you walk in, your senses are NOT assaulted by chemical smells because they don't use acetone or acrylic. The owners pride of ownership is apparent throughout since she designed many of the custom elements. My nails have held up perfectly after 10 days, so far. Truly the BEST experience I have ever had at a nail salon! My Mom had such a wonderful experience here, she ended up booking me a pedicure appointment. It was my first time at this salon and immediately as I walked in, I was greeted so kindly by the owner. Their salon was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing inside. I have never had such an amazing pedicure!! Ann was truly incredible. I receievd the milk and honey pedicure and was blown away by everything it included. A beautiful large bowl was wheeled in filled with fresh rose petals, cucumbers, and lemon. The water temperature was perfectly hot and Ann even refilled the bowl with more hot water to ensure the water temperature stayed warm. Seriously something I have never experienced before! The exfoliating scrub and honey mask were so soothing, and the hot paraffin wax left my feet feeling so soft! Also, the 15 minute massage?! I was in heaven!! Ann truly took her time which I appreciated so incredibly much. She was so sweet and constantly checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied. I am typically pretty picky when it comes to my french pedicures as I'm particular about the french tip lines mpt being too thick. Ann did them PERFECTLY on the first try, I have never seen my toes look so perfect lol. I will most definitely be coming back here, this is my absolute now go to salon! I got my nails done here a couple of weeks ago and was so impressed by the experience. Immediately, I noticed there were no harsh smells of polish, acetone, etc. which made it very comfortable! 10/10, best spot ever so happy tumbled Upon it, opened only opened a couple weeks ago! Found it after getting turned down by another shop I Came to get an emergency fix on a couple nails I broke and I'm from out of town, this woman was a MIRACLE worker and brought my set back to life. She Was able to glue on the ones I had still and recreated the lost one, she freestyled gems with what she had and absolutely slayed. Everything I could ask for inna shop! Especially after getting turned down by another shop I made an appointment for. They were very accommodating for a walk in appointment. Staff is So sweet & Compassionate customer service, extremely clean all Products are natural !! A lot thought was put into the shop alone, a beautiful nail bar with great massage chairs for pedis, & attention to detail in the services like using fresh herbs like lemon and flowers in pedicure water. Everything is clean They Show you the tools are sanitized before they use them, and just good intention. I feel extremely comfortable here and they are accommodating to what you need done . I've had my share of salons and I felt at peace and happy with services walking in and leaving . read more

This new nail shop was the best nail shop experience I've ever had! The cleanliness & spa-like environment was top notch. I can tell Kimmy put a lot of thought into her business. I came here with my sister for a full set of Gel X nails, and a pedicure. Both Kimmy and Amy were wonderful, and made the experience more enjoyable. They made us feel at home. It's hard finding places that do Gel X, so I was happy about that. Immediately upon walking in, I noticed there is no harsh chemical smell here. Kimmy mentioned they don't use acetone and don't do acrylic nails here either. Every tool they used was properly sanitized, and they show you every step of the way. Truly feels like your at a spa. The only thing I will say is that it is a little bit pricey, but worth it considering the customer experience. Will definitely be coming back!! read more

What a truly wonderful experience! This was my first visit to Beau Den Spa and I plan on becoming a regular. I tried a gel X manicure for the first time. I am not someone that gets fake nails and I was pleased with the product. Two weeks later and they still feel and look great. I appreciated all the information provided to me about the products used. The owner prides herself on using cleaner products and I could tell. The spa was clean and didn't have the typical nail salon smells. I also had a pedicure treatment. It was so relaxing. This was my first time getting my nails done at this place and it was such a great experience. The owners and staff are lovely, very attentive, and detail-oriented. The space is beautiful, you can tell a lot of thought went into it. Cleanliness is at the top of their mind- tools are sterilized, everything is new and super clean. The health of their customers and staff is at the forefront - there is no toxic smell as you'd find in other places. The owner prides herself in using organic products which does not alter the quality of the end result. I will definitely be back! read more

This was my second time visiting this shop, and I can verify that both times were a great experience. The vibe of the shop is really relaxing and peaceful. You can also tell the techs work really well together, which I feel contributes to that vibe. I'm really picky about my nails and generally like designs with just a little bit of flare. Boy, did they deliver! I'm so happy with these nails that I would keep them on for months if possible. This place is so relaxing! I love coming here I always feel like I am getting pampered. The owner is so sweet and we always have great conversations. They have a wide variety of colors. I love how they use vegan and natural products it keeps the spa smelling nice u like other nail salons that smell like chemicals. From walking in I knew this place was special. Not only was it clean and spacious, but it smelled great, not like the chemical smell you usually get at most nail salons! The center "bar" was a cool set up and I loved the interior design. They offer free beverages included coffee, water, tea, and I believe they also sell alcohol! The packages they have for manicures and pedicures were the epitome of LUXURY. Im talking rose petals and lemons in your foot soak. Because they are so new though, they don't really have much staff, which honestly is fine as long as you call ahead of time. I got a gel pedicure and gel x manicure My nails came out exactly as I wanted! They also use new instruments on every customer and make sure to show you the unopened packages. The owner was extremely nice and when she accidentally gave me the wrong manicure (I asked for a purple French and they accidentally painted the whole thing purple. Honestly I was so dazed I didn't notice), she offered to give me a free French manicure the next time I go in! That's customer service at its finest! However, I will admit that I did come in when I had a Gel-X tip split from another salon and they helped me with a new nail and tried to match the color as much as possible. The pedicures, mainly gel ones LAST 3+ weeks. It's probably their top and base because I've brought in my own gel (LeChat) and the results were the same. (I do avoid using DND/Daisy since I'm not a fan of them.) They also cut my nails as short as I request them to and VERY SHORT. Massages sometimes can be hit or miss since I need a firm, deep tissue. But I will say the consistency of having pedicures that can last forever is great! Don't change Kevin and Team! My only cons are that they don't do Russian/dry manicures as a normal mani treatment. Prices are a little high, but that's typical Diablo Valley prices. Oakland/Berkeley/Alameda are around 10-15% cheaper.

My finger hurts and I am not sure how they're justifying the prices without having great customer service or giving you the basic services of a manicure.

Pedicure issue: I asked for a square French tip. I explicitly stated this before my toenails were cut. Despite that, the technician cut my toenails into a shape that made a square tip impossible without acrylic. This was acknowledged as a mistake by the technician herself. I reasonably asked that acrylic be added at no extra charge, since the issue was created by the salon. This turned into unnecessary back-and-forth and delay. Manicure issue: I was then moved to another station for my hands. Again, I showed reference photos multiple times and clearly asked for a medium-length, narrow almond shape (sharper tip, not stiletto, not short). I repeatedly said I did not want short nails. Despite this, my nails were shaped into very short, triangular tips that looked nothing like the reference photos. I stopped the service because it was clearly not going in the right direction. Time & service failure: After nearly 3 hours, I had: * No completed pedicure * No completed manicure This was extremely frustrating, especially given the appointment time and the fact that I was very clear and patient throughout. Pricing concern: I also questioned a $20 upcharge for gold foil on all 10 fingers (a material that costs only a few dollars for a large quantity). The pricing felt excessive and unjustified, especially considering the service issues. Bottom line: This salon was unable to execute very basic requests (square French tip pedicure, almond-shaped manicure) despite clear communication and reference photos. The experience was disorganized, time-consuming, and disappointing. I relied on Google reviews to choose this salon and unfortunately felt misled by them. I would not return, and I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for precise shaping, consistency, or respect for their time.

Honestly, I almost don't want to write this review because I wanted to keep this salon to myself. That's how good it is. I've been to a lot of nail salons, and this is by far the best experience I've ever had. The atmosphere is beautiful, peaceful, elegant, and welcoming. Everyone is genuinely kind, and you never feel rushed or pressured. What stands out the most is how much they care about their clients. They take their time, listen to what you want, and pay attention to every detail. I didn't realize how much anxiety I had developed from other nail salons until I came here. At other places, I would be nervous about speaking up if I wanted something changed because I didn't want an attitude or to feel like I was being difficult. That has never happened here. Kimmy and her team actually care about how you feel and whether you're happy with your service. When I had a concern in the past, it was addressed immediately and professionally. They truly want every client to leave happy. What Kimmy has created is something special and honestly hard to find these days. Great Salon! I have been looking for a place for pedicures which I can feel confident the tools are sanitized, and the bowl is clean, this place is immaculate. I have enjoyed several pedicures and have had a great experience. The salon is very quiet with relaxing music. I really love this salon, I did a lot of research to find a place I would be comfortable in, the 5 star reviews are correct. I am older and have neuropathy, I can no longer cut my own toenails, I kept cutting myself as I can't feel where my skin is, sounds crazy but it happens, it became too painful to do it myself. I was very nervous getting a pedicure as I also have infection issues, I have a friend who ended up in the hospital from a pedicure which she got a major infection from unclean tools. I was a nervous wreck the first time I came in, the minute I got in the door I relaxed, the atmosphere is wonderful also the owner and everyone who works here is so nice plus speak perfect English, I never really thought I cared how easy it was to communicate but having everyone easily understand the conversation has been great. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Beau Den, and I had such a wonderful experience! I got the icy refresh pedicure, and I was truly impressed by the level of care and attention to detail provided by Kelly (?), I didn't catch her name, but she was outstanding customer service, making not only me but everyone that walks through the door, feel welcomed and valued. Their commitment to hygiene and cleanliness was much appreciate, and it totally sets them to a higher standard compared to other salons I've previously visited. They explained that ALL their equipment is sterilized and take pride in their cleanliness. Kelly, who worked on my pedicure, was kind, patient, and skilled-- her dedication really showed in the results! The cutest Gel-X set I've ever had! I cannot say enough amazing things about Kimmy and Miranda at BeauDen Spa & Nails! I get served for my nails a couple of times at Beau Den Spa & Nails and loved it. They definitely try their best to give you a 100% safe and clean environment. I don't think they ever compromise on your safety by reusing the tools that they suppose not to reuse because I experienced that they mostly use disposable tools and use alcoholic pads to clean your nails a couple times in-between. Also, quality of their work is worth the price. First time I felt it bit pricy but then thinking the service at other places made me choose this place as my favorite place to get my nails done. The final look of my nails is pretty clean and smooth that I barely feel that when get service at other salons. I couldn't even find a mistake in shape or cleanliness. I have never had an experience like this before and let me tell you this is probably ONE of the BEST experiences I have ever had at a nail spa! Kimmy went above and beyond to understand what I wanted and took her time to give me the best service ever and really cured my cracked nails! Also, having an off day is one thing but just unprofessionalism and upselling is to the point of annoyance is never ok. Off top I didn't like the way she handled me, it felt very rushed and she seemed annoyed by me. I hate fake nails, it's just not my thing, they look great but I like my natural nails and nothing but old school nail polish. The tech (Layna maybe, can't remember exactly) kept trying to convince me to do a full set, when she finally gave up on that she kept insisting on gel polish "it last longer and you won't need to touch it up". I want what I want and I don't want what should be a mini spa experience to turn into me having to debate or make a deal on what I came for. The last thing that just ruined it forever was she took a call while painting my nails, it just made me feel like she was done with me at that point. This was definitely a one and done for me.

Attached are 2 pictures of my nails and the inspiration picture. Now before I even committed I ran the inspiration photo past the only tech in the salon and she confirmed she could do the same chrome and blue faded design. Yes, I knew it would never be identical but I expected something similar. I had 3 redos done on my nails with them stripping the gel off each time. What upsets me more is that they did not have the chrome powder at all and when they realized that they tried painting silver glitter polish over the clear gel used to make the lines. It was cured and left the nail bed messy when they removed everything with acetone again and again. I would have appreciated the honesty at the beginning because I would have looked up different inspirations pictures to meet their skill set. Instead what I'm left with are messy glitter nails with blue stripes. If you are looking for contemporary designs this is not the place. I'm very disappointed and sorry I wasted my time with something that should have been a pleasant experience.

My one redone nail will definitely be the last one standing next to the other weaklings. I had tried Citi in the past and I must have not been impressed; otherwise, I would have become a regular. Just be warned, when he keeps sanding off the product, say something. Trying to be polite ends up making you waste not only your money, but also precious time in having to return for premature repairs. He also mentioned prices were going up in a few days which really confirms my decision not to return. Nails for me are not a necessary, but a luxury. I do not have the time for costly repairs.
