I had wanted to sell a bag of clothing and purses. We are from spokane so a bit of a drive. As a first time customer I was very excited. When i arrived, I was greated nicely, but there were mounds and mounds of bags of clothes piled by the front door. There were no instructions, only a piece of paper to put my info on and a clip to put it on my bag and leave, so I had asked for more information. They had said they were so busy they would not get to my bag until the next day which was great since I was informed they only hold the rest of the unwanted clothes for 2 days. I told them that works as I was going out of town. 3 hours later I got a phone call. They told me they were taking 5 items for $5. I said ok thats great but I still cant come until Monday to pick up. The caller then handed the phone to another girl i think her name was Cara? She then restated their policy to me in a not very nice tone at all. She then said she was offering $6 for 12 items, and had to put a purse on hold for 2 weeks due to the owner being on vacation. I asked for clarification again because she said something completely different then the first girl. I then asked if they hold my items until they are done with it all including the purse, she then got upset and said ive already explained this to you twice! No we will not hold your clothes, you need to wait for the purse and you have 2 days to come get the rest and your cash. I said woah I dont know what happened but this is my first time and I just needed some clarification. She then YELLED at me, called me snippity, and said she is going to tell the owner about this conversation. My only hope is that they record the phonecalls so brooke can actually hear who the snippity one was. I was in shock when I got of the phone in tears. I didnt curse, i didnt yell, I am a very nice sweet lady that just needed some clarification. My mind was blown! I would never treat sombody like that, especially a first time customer. I wished her having a better night and let her go because at that point she was on one and wouldnt stop being so cruel. I cant come back here no matter how good of a concept the store is due to how that girl treated me on the phone. I seriously love this store! :-) I'm all about saving money and still looking great, and Beau Monde has it all. Athleisure, trendy pieces, and even some high-end designer items to look through. I love that I can go in and come back out with some great staple pieces for my wardrobe. The prices are amazing, and there are so many things that you can do to even get a discount on your purchase (think posting on social media). The staff has always been really sweet and helpful, and I love that you can even bring clothes in to get a credit or cash. When you leave, you can take your receipt and go to one of the Beau Monde outlets (where everything is $5 or less) and get two items for five dollars! It's ridiculously amazing. Don't pass this store up. Think Frye boots, Uggs, North Face, Patagonia, Coach, Nike, lululemon, etc.! read more

The atmosphere in these stores is never very put together. The staff is not welcoming. The clothing selection is mediocre at best. Oh and not to mention, the owner is painfully unprofessional and puts her customers on blast through their business page. The owner has also badmouthed the Black Lives Matter movement in her nasty slander of a customer on the business page. Empowered women don't use their businesses to slam others or endanger their entire community by not wearing masks. What a shameful business. read more

Overall wide variety of selection throughout the entire store. Whether I am shopping for my 6 year old niece or my 56 year old step dad, I can always seem to find the perfect items. The staff are hard working and willing to help others. I can find brands from lululemon to free people every time I go in the store. I bought an almost new lulu tank top for $22 when in store I would have paid over $60! I love the deals and also love supporting local businesses! I love shopping at Beau Monde!! The owner does a great job hiring kind gals to work at her store. The selection is great and I always coming away with outfits I love. The return policy is a little tough, but it's still worth it to shop here! Not only that the owner stands for medical freedom... even her employees are not required to wear masks no matter what the city council is trying force on their (mostly) unwilling constituents. Beau Monde Exchange is the best clothing store around! They have a great selection of quality clothes for great deals. The staff is always super friendly and encouraging. Beau Monde Exchange is pretty much always running deals (even on top of their Outlet prices!) and they do major charitable sales events that benefit the community. I'm happy to know I can shop local and still wear current styles - which would be next to impossible in North Idaho without BME. read more

Came here with my girlfriend looking for some light work clothes and fashion. Spent a few hours finding what was right. The staff were courteous and helpful. The environment was nice and the store was well kept and clean. They have a small men's section where I found myself a nice Hoodie which was a nice surprise. ​we found everything we wanted and more all at a fair price. My husband came in with me one day and was thrilled to find a North Face jacket he's been pricing out brand new. The one we found was $45 in awesome condition!
