My family and I are always finding cute knickknacks, doo-dads, and overall very useful items that simply make the heart happy. The bathrooms are generally pretty icky, and this is one area where the employees at this location could definitely improve. The customer service is also mixed. I've had horrible experiences with employees that left me baffled and extremely disappointed, barely palpable and non-memorable interactions that were negative or neutral, and a very small number of genuinely pleasant exchanges with certain employees. The pricing is standard for T.J. Maxx which means expensive and quickly adds up. Overall, I'd still recommend checking this location out for the fun of finding something cute and unique. Just be mindful of the sharks for employees!

When was the last time a shoe store refused to refund and accept a return on a factory defect…read morewithin just a few days from purchase? Actually, Encore doesn't accept any return, for ANY reason. It is deep within their website. Somehow Encore has silently changed from the common practice of being a regular store, a middle man responsible for the whole relationship between customer and brand, to being a fraud facing store built on brands that DO NOT reply to customer emails and have no intention of owning their quality. Case in point: I bought Hi Tec work boots, 3 days later the metal lace hoop breaks. Took back with receipt, was informed they couldn't be re-sold so no return, also advised not to lace up boots because something like this could happen?Advised to work with the manufacturer. THE MANUFACTURER IS IN AFRICA and the UK, AND WILL NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS. We tried, and tried again. So, not one more time ever will Encore get my own or my kids business, their pretty young so us alone is 40 + pairs of shoes until they are all through school. When we went to checkout our very sweet sales clerk, SADEE had mentioned that there were matching Lucky earrings to match a necklace she purchased, but we told her we couldn't find any. SADEE said she would help us find some. She spoke to her manager and behold she located a big box of Lucky earrings that were recently marked down in the back room. Special thanks to SADEE for her friendliness and willingness to help us (rare to find sales people who do this these days). Beyond the online presence, my in-store experiences have also been disappointing. On more than one occasion, employees have failed to greet or acknowledge me, and I have stood at the counter waiting for assistance while staff members walked by without engaging.
