I have always loved Hard Rock buffet but today I wanted to try something new with my family, so we have decided to go to Beau Rivage buffet. We were told the line is ridiculously long so we needed to go early. We went 30 min before open and was told it will be only a 30min wait. Well that 30min wait was hour and a half long. the line just kept on growing and growing. When we got closer to the counter, I noticed that there were 2 different lines. (which all buffet in casinos have,1 for spenders and 1 for just people) What I didn't like about this was the counters for regular people was taking care of VIP customer more then regulars. So the wait time is just so bad. Once we got seated the buffet was big and long. Food: asian, seafood to pizza soup, KING Crab legs, and dessert. I have to say this place has one of the best king crab in the bilox area. Pros: King crab is 10/10 stars (This is worth your time and money) Cons: the Lines and how the VIp and customers are being taking care of. Will be back but might come back as a VIP.. :) read more

We went to the buffet for dinner while staying at the resort for the night. After an afternoon of spa (me) and gambling (husband), we found plenty of delicious items for dinner here. There are going to be hits and misses at every buffet but we found enough wins to declare it worthwhile. I'd say the weakest area was the desserts but we still loved the bread pudding with whiskey sauce and the crème brûlée. Some of the entree favorites were the egg rolls, fried chicken, pasta, crawfish etouffee, and sweet potato casserole. The only drawback we could see is there wasn't really any of the premium items (ie seafood) that you'd see on the buffet at other MGM properties in Atlantic City or Vegas. read more

We come to the Beau at least once a month and relied on the buffet to be convenient and reliable even if not consistent in quality. I don't know why they call the changes an upgrade but for dinner they cut the choices by half and now you get your own drinks. To say our visit tonight is a new low is understatement Service consisted of throwing our receipt on the table and walking away. Food quality was way below what I can get at my local meat and three or Golden Corral. It was mislabeled, looked like it had sat out all day and was totally flavorless. It's terribly difficult for me to give any buffet five stars. Traditionally, I love a buffet, but I know what they are- semi bland tasting food that could be warmer, but isn't because it's been setting. While the Beau Rivage has a good buffet, it doesn't do much to set itself apart- especially for a casino buffet. In terms of size, the buffet is pretty large. Offering different cuisines like Chinese, make your own omelet, local fair (aka crawfish), and many other options. The two standout items for me were the Mac and cheese and the teriyaki chicken wings. Everything else was good, but was typical of any other buffet. They offer a $14.99 take out option which may be good for some. We did the brunch which was $21.99 and came with mimosas. While we were there though, we got brought into a huge customer issue. A man parked his scooter near our table and was asked to move it as a fire hazard, since we were seated there- remember, this is a casino so scooters are everywhere. Basically, when the man was asked to move his scooter- mayhem ensued. And all we wanted to do was eat. More of an annoyance than anything, but I was surprised that no one apologized to us for the commotion, considering the man kept asking us to give statements as witnesses and such- believe me, it was ridiculous. This brunch buffet was what you would expect from a casino buffet in Mississippi. While being an affiliate to Bellagio and other Mlife casinos, the best thing about the buffet is it's decor! The decor is whimsical with old pots and pans used as a chandelier piece and excellent brick arches to transport you to Italy! The food however was a disappointment! The best thing on the menu for brunch was dirty Cajun rice. The prime rib was the hot ticket item as people lined up to get their money's worth! Additionally they had ham and sausage stations! People seemed to enjoy the omelet station as well as the pasta station to customize your meal. Recommend the pizza as well! In true buffet style their dessert section was impressive with a wide array of dessert to include beignets and ice cream! The ice cream station was full of sugar to make up for the taste! Pleasant and professional staff, clean environment, and the food....nothing short of amazing! Breakfast is $12 per adult and you get to eat all that you can from a wide variety. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. The food is probably some of the worst food I have eaten. You can tell wveeything is low quality frozen food. Even the soft serve ice cream was inedible. The only thing that was somewhat decent was the salad bar, however the mushrooms were canned.... I have never seen canned mishrooms on a salad bar. As far as casino buffets go, I actually really like this place. Ive eaten at several of the buffets in biloxi (and elsewhere) and this one stands out above the rest. There's always a large food selection and all the cajun/creole dishes (etoufee, red beans n rice, jumbala) are suprisingly well done. They have all the foods youd expect them to have - Italian, asian, southern, and american side dishes. But then theres always something unexpected, like make your own pho, or gyros with zazitki!? The buffet is pretty vegetarian friendly, great salad bar and lots of vegetable soups and dishes. The best thing about this buffet is that for five dollars you can get unlimited beer or wine. A great way to get your buzz going before heading to the casino! The downside is that its pricey if you don't have a comp or discount. The Beau Rivage Buffet is losing its glory. They no longer offer crab legs on Friday and Saturday. It is now Saturday night only. The Brussel sprouts were over cooked and but the hand carved roast beef was delicious. I have always enjoyed the custom pasta station where you create your own pasta dish. The desserts were good. My husband is handicap & can barely walk. We stood in line to go into the buffet for quite awhile. When we got up to attendant we were told that we were in the VIP line & that we needed to move to the other line but there was NO SIGN at the beginning of the line telling us it was a VIP line. The Beau's buffet is probably the best dining option in the building. The restaurants really didn't catch my eye, but I did receive a comp to the buffet, so I took advantage of it. The admission price wasn't bad compared to the cost of buffets at casinos in Atlantic City, for instance, but I still wouldn't go back unless I got a comp. As somebody visiting from the "Union" states, I really enjoyed being able to sample all the various Southern dishes. What better than a buffet to do that. I'm glad that it just wasn't another standard institutional buffet as many casinos have. They really have every Southern dish that you can think of, from succotash to black eyed peas to fried okra to jambalaya to mac & cheese to fried chicken. My waiter was really attentive and explained the process to me. Apparently I was eating gulf shrimp instead of crawfish! The buffet is now closer to a Golden Corral buffet and not what I expect for $30 from a Tier 1 Las Vegas style casino. Well, it's a big Buffet. A fair amount of choices. Big salad bar. They have a couple people hand carving meats. It looks upscale. But it's hotel food. It's pretty bland for me, but you have to expect that with them catering to old folks. The place is always packed with long lines, I was expecting great food, alas no. The staff is courteous and quick I liked that. I left full and I suppose that's the idea. If we stay here again, which is dubious, I suppose we could try it again. There was a sign outside that stated crab so we decided to have some crab, when we got in there was no crab, when the manager was notified he said there was no indication of crab but he took down the sign in the front.‍ It must have been left up from the day before. After being turned away by the steak house because we didn't know they require reservations we decided this would be the place we would eat. I am so happy we did! The customer service was amazing and so was the mac n cheese!! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the prime rib was very over cooked and dry. Their buffet is awesome. There's a good selection of southern cooking. Prices of most food items range from $31 to $60. Each food is good so I always get to eat too much. They feed my hungry tummy real well. The place can get crowded at times due to the wide array of fine buffet items. The staff can get busy and the buffet items may get cycled often. Busy times at The Buffet often mean that you'll have to fall in a long line of customers unless you're a casino VIP through their rewards program. I guess everyone just has to be a bit patient to line up if they really want something good. Well, food at The Buffet IS something good to line up for. Let me share a list of my dinner favorites: snow crab legs, fried chicken, catfish, calamari, shrimp, okra, oysters, clams, barbecue ribs, crawfish, carved prime rib, bratwurst and knockwurst sausages, crab cakes, pizza, champagne, and mimosas. They've got a tempting pasta bar. They also have full salad and dessert bars. Their noodle bar is worthy to mention as well. Feel free to select from their collection of Asian cuisines or drown your taste buds with their multiple soup options. They had all types of food from Italian, Mexican, Asian, American, and more. They have a large variety of desserts and frozen yogurt. I paced myself and was able to try almost everything. They have a gyro station, a pho station. And a pasta station. I was too full to try those and I tear up every time I think about it... They have many seafood dishes. You can eat as many crayfish, cold or hot crab legs. There were a few things I didn't enjoy as much but most of it was so delicious and the dessert were so good. The only negative was that they took a while to clear the table. I wanted to stay longer and keep eating but my mother is a party pooper and wanted to leave because she was 'tired'.
