Alyzza was incredibly skilled at waxing and trimming my stray eyebrow hairs, and was super friendly and easy to talk to throughout. She always let me know what she was doing to my brows, and really worked with me on the tint. This was what impressed me the most. Got suckered into paying $120 for one $65 Brazilian. It's clear she oversold packages without the ability to fulfill the services sold. There should be a disclaimer when you purchase packages: Only 2 months from purchase date to use, regardless of whether or not there is availability in that time frame (she's almost always fully booked). If you are unable to schedule, you forfeit the appointments and are charged the full amount anyway, no refunds, no credit for future use. I bought a special package April 2021 (3 Brazilians for $120). It was hard to get in because she was fully booked for the next few months (a lot of people probably bought the package since it was a great deal). I finally got an appointment in August, probably because it was a last minute cancelation. When I finally got to use it, she said each session expires 2 months after date of purchase, so this is considered my last session since 4 months went by, no extensions, no refunds, no store credit. I understand that she works many hours but if she's always fully booked, it's not fair to the customer to put such strict restrictions on the packages. If anything, buying a package is a commitment that they want to come back in. I would not have purchased it had I known it'd be impossible to get them done. Also, I wasn't made aware of a waiting list until July when I asked about why it was so hard to get in. I never asked to be taken off the waiting list, you simply stopped sending me texts. read more

I've gotten sugaring from Alyzza before at another place she's worked at in the past. When that place closed down, I was in search for a new sugar wielder in town. I was told of where Alyzza had moved on to so I came following! Alyzza is super quick. It definitely makes hair removal seem way less painful. The scheduling is online only and once you schedule you will be charged $35 if you want to change your appointment a day in advance. Be warned ! Absolutely worst customer service! The owner Alyzza has zero knowledge of how a good business is run. I booked an appointment with her for 5 pm but a day ahead of my appointment I got to know I'll have to travel out of town . So I called her and asked to reschedule my appointment. Mind you it was for 5 pm next day. But she was not accommodating at all and told me it'll be $35 charge!! I never experienced such a rude business I mean she could've easily filled the time slot with another client and rescheduled me!! Very very disappointing !!!! Answering the rude business owner!! Wow who said I was going to a " planned family vacation " you can lie here all you want but let me tell you one thing you need to learn how a business is run. Why would I schedule an appointment 2 days before if it was a " planned" family vacay!! I know it was not a 24 hours notice for cancellation but it was a DAY in advance not a last minute cancellation! After my bad experience at European wax, I was a bit nervous but she asked questions, listened and explained her product. She makes sure that she knows your background to prepare you for the service, e.g.pain from taking certain medications or hormones. She also offers discounts to students and military! I got a refund on groupon under special circumstances. Alyzza Villarreal is a complete bitch. Alyzza thinks her methods are good business practice however I think her customer service skills are misguided. I had scheduled an appointment for sugaring a week in advance however the Sunday previously I became a victim of a crime. The detective had called me the day of my appointment which caused me to miss my bus. I called Alyzza Villarreal upon me missing the bus (my car had a flat tire which is linked to the crime). I offered to show proof of my claims but Alyzza Villarreal showed no concerns and was unempathic when attempting to charge my card $35 for a no show fee per her shitty policy. I didn't want to reschedule or do business with her and groupon gave me my money. P.S. Alyzza Villarreal put down the Diary of an Overtly bitchy business owner. 2nd response: No one said you cussed me out. And yes I did call you a bitch over the phone and hung up over your bogus ass gesture of wanting to charge my card 35$ or use one of my vouchers over something that caused a valid interference to my schedule. I have a police report and call dialogue timestamp from the detective from upto 11:20AM (I live in north park and the bus ride was an hour and 14 mins). No one told you I overslept. I originally discovered Alyzza through Groupon several months ago. I had been on the lookout for a regular esthetician for half a year, bouncing between salons that offered Groupon deals and never feeling that I wanted to commit to any of them. I know, a business owner's worst nightmare. Simply put, while I didn't have negative experiences with any of these salons, nothing stood out as being worth the squeeze of a longer term "waxing contract," as offered by most businesses after the consummation of a Groupon offer. Alyzza has been an exception from the beginning. Being a one-woman show, she has been infinitely more accommodating and adaptable than I could hope to expect from any receptionist's desk. I have an unusual work schedule that demands on-call readiness for travel and have had to cancel many times on Alyzza (always with at least a day of notice) (p.s. this is basic respect for the valuable time of someone who works for themselves). Because I explained my working situation in advance to Alyzza, she has been incredibly accommodating and understanding and happy to reschedule me without penalty or expression of frustration. Very professional. Furthermore, she even accommodates for the individual variations in hair regrowth by allowing up to three months between waxes if purchased as a package. Every other business I have encountered allows at maximum two months between visits before they dock you the price of one of the purchased waxes. As if things couldn't be better, prices are even more economical than equivalent treatments elsewhere. I know, I been around (lol). The cherry on top of all this? There's ample parking. Out of nowhere an obnoxious lady shouted "my name, who let me in?, I am not allowed inside the building due to covid, been trying to call my number since morning" and all her bs comments. She asked me to walk back to the front door to get my body temperature. So I waited for her at the front waiting area.
