From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. Find another company.

I saw Daniel and his company, TruBlue of Allen, got great reviews everywhere I looked so I reached out. He agreed to meet me the next day and came and always had a smile on his face and a "can-do" attitude. He showed confidence and I could tell he has done this many times. We agreed on his very reasonable estimate and the project began! I wanted to completely remove our existing shower and tub and make the tub are our new shower and the previous shower would become a an area for storage. He showed up to help me get tile and we got a great mix of tiles for our bathroom and we couldn't be happier! Fernando helped with all the tiling and a separate group of guys helped with the finishings and drywalls. Daniel's plumber is fantastic and you can tell that all these workers pay attention to detail and have worked in nice homes and do great work. This was so different than my previous experience which was mediocre. As the project finished, we were just so happy and I don't think you could get a better result in the very reasonable price range that Daniel offers. Nothing but great things to say about our experience. As with all things, stay in communication and make sure you are talking to the day-to-day workers as well as Daniel. Examples: a chandelier over the tub was mounted to a plastic box sitting directly on ceiling drywall with the cable unsecured along the attic floor; several items required rework, including a custom vanity with an off-center sink cabinet, unlevel countertops, and visibly slanted shelves; the plumbing work had multiple problems and the plumber and his sister were fired. Ther are many, many other things I could mention. The project took over eight months instead of the four promised, with work gaps of days and sometimes weeks. I met with the PM three times to create a timeline, but they fell behind every time. The only reason he gave was schedule conflicts with other jobs. One positive: Guillermo and Jose were responsive and fully guaranteed their work. They made sure I was satisfied with the end product before ending the project.

Yeah...not a 5-star experience…read more We had them remodel two bathrooms in one of our homes. The remodels themselves are fine, minus incomplete work and the window they broke (more below). However, their communication is AWFUL. You are just a transaction to them. Of course, they are there and willing to listen before the work starts while they sell you something. But scheduling and install communication was non-existent or one-way on their terms. The contractors (sub-contractors?) showed up when they wanted. When they had questions about choices they asked our tenants instead of contacting us directly, despite us making it very clear we were the decision makers. They told us they would come back to install the final corner shelf that was missing or forgotten (don't know the story because communication). They even tried having our tenants sign off on the work even though it wasn't completed. Above all, what upsets me most is that they broke one of our bathroom windows. The contractor tried to sidestep it and blameshift by making statements about not having before pictures to compare and know if it was broken prior. He said he would "call his boss" and they would call us back, but WE have had to call THEM multiple times only to be told "someone" would call us back eventually to get it sorted out. Three weeks went by and our tenants had to weather the 2026 severe winter storm with a broken window. They collected their final payment and I don't expect to hear back from them at this point (though they may be hearing my credit card company about reversing that payment soon). If you're looking for a contractor who has a shred of integrity, ownership, and trustworthiness then keep looking.

I also was never asked if I wanted untreated wood on the outside or if I was going to paint it myself until after it was already installed on the house. Little late at that point, isn't it? On a door, the casing is NOT supposed to e installed into or behind the drywall. The door jamb should sit almost flush or about 1/32 inch to the surface of the drywall, allowing the casing to lay flat on top of the drywall and door jam. This is a standard with any door. Every door and window in my house is done the same way, but yet you won't correct it. This is pure misrepresentation of your Neighborly Done Right Promise," THE DOOR IS NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY!. Like the other reviews, I was also totally taken advantage of on the cost of materials. I would love to post an itemized list of what I was charged compared to what I had installed, but I know I'll never see one. We originally called for help removing an unusually placed back panel underneath our kitchen sink so we could access the plumbing. Once it was removed, I planned to install our new kitchen faucet myself, but quickly realized the space was so tight that I couldn't get the old fixture off. I called again the next day, and Vlad came out that morning and installed the new faucet for us. Then, later that same evening, I accidentally broke the cartridge while trying to install a new shower handle. We suddenly couldn't turn the water back on to the entire house. Even though Vlad had already worked a full day, he came by after his last job to help us figure out a way to at least get our water back on. What impressed me most was that he didn't just look for a quick temporary fix. He took his time, worked through the problem, and ultimately ended up fixing the shower handle and getting everything working properly. Vlad is knowledgeable, resourceful, patient, and genuinely cares about finding the right solution rather than just putting a bandage on a problem. Wow, where do I start. We hired this company to do patio work, and the workmanship was absolutely horrendous. The stamped concrete overlays run directly into neighboring stamp patterns with no consistency or attention to detail. It looks sloppy and completely unprofessional. The color we agreed on was nowhere close to the final result -- so different that it was practically unrecognizable from what was promised. What we received looked nothing like the samples or expectations that were discussed beforehand. Bobby presents himself as experienced and knowledgeable, but the actual work was clearly subcontracted out to unqualified crews who had no business handling a project like this. Instead of improving our backyard, they completely ruined the appearance of it. If you care about quality workmanship, professionalism, or having a beautiful backyard when the job is done, DO NOT use this company. Since when has a fair evaluation ever been insulting? 98% is excellent so if you want to risk 2% to be questionable aesthetically, structurally and "is this even legal" they'll probably be ok In my case that 2% is a big deal. They are extremely high priced. So with the price tag comes the expectation of awesome high end results. Not my experience.

Contractors and trade should be honest from the start, beginning with the initial estimate. Other red flags (in retrospect) worth mentioning that are consistent with other recent reviews: -The employee who provided an estimate showed up over an hour before the scheduled time, examined our garage framing from only the outside, and did not return to finish the estimate an hour later as promised. -LBW scheduled our job a week later than initially agreed. -The lead asked open ended questions about the scope of the job upon arrival at the job, making it unclear whether he knew what work needed to be completed. As pleasant as the lead and office administrator were, it feels like we were hustled. If you engage with LBW, make sure you need the work!

Lighting fixtures that would do nothing Kitchen cabinets doors that would not close Lack of a front door threshold Windows that would not shut Roof exhaust fan was not screwed to base MAJOR CRACK THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE LIVING ROOM CEILING Rene Fournet offered us a six-month "Home Warranty" with no paperwork detailing exactly what was covered. Rene would pick and choose what he would repair. Our advice is to stay far away from What's Next Remodeling or you'll be asking yourself "What next can go wrong !"

I had floors replaced, paint work done, can lights installed, ceiling fan, doors replace, and stain work on the fence and house. Alan was always onsite managing/ monitoring the work of his team. The final results were outstanding. Every call/text before, during and after was always answered timely. Any change request along the way was done without issue. For the quality of work the cost was fair. There was never frustration along the way. I'll always use What's Next going forward for my remodel updates. The results speak for themselves.
