She's always fun to talk to and be around. My hair needs are pretty simple--I get a cut every 5-6 weeks, and when I need a lift, Micaela adds a toner to give my hair extra shine. She takes the time to discuss what I want to do, and my style changes a bit every visit. When I leave, I always feel great, and my style lasts until the next appointment. Jensen & Co. is a bright, cheerful salon with happy and friendly stylists and customers. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, but you can park behind the salon or in the big lot across the street.

I showed her three different pictures of me and pointed to the length in the front, telling her that I wanted it "this long." Then while looking in the mirror, I pointed to below my jawline and specifically said "I want the length in the front to touch my chin. I want to keep it long. Maybe trim off a fraction of an inch to get rid of any dead ends, but don't cut it short." She agreed and said she would keep it long. What she ended up doing was cutting off THREE INCHES from the front. Now instead of touching my chin, the length of the front only goes to my cheekbone. I look like a guy. When my husband came home he said, "Hello, sir, have you seen my wife?" Fail. It's going to take like six months for my hair to grow back. She did a great job on the back, but the front is a total, absolute disappointment. When I look in the mirror I feel really, really sad. I don't look like me, I look like a dude... and that is not my vibe.

My experience started off very BUMPPY and almost wrote GROUPON to get my money back even before meeting Meggan. I called here for two weeks leaving messages and got nothing back... Then when she did get back to me she apologized and told me she had a cold and a death in the family and was at Burning man. Ok, ALL EVERY GOOD reasons. :) I bought the cut and all over color for 45.00, which is a rocking good deal. I explained what/how I wanted my hair and even brought pics to help.... She knew exactly what I was asking for and did a awesome job. She is VERY VERY busy and is always booked a month out, but well worth the wait. I jumped back on GROUPON and grabbed another one for a cut/condoning from her for only 25.00. Winter is coming and deep condoning is always needed for this area.
