Alyssa called me the day before to adjust my appointment time. While I appreciate the forethought I arranged my work and family schedule for my appointment weeks in advance. I could not change it in 24 hours. Then she arrived late. I guess it's a generational thing but I wasn't warmly greeted when she arrived but simply told to select my color and I had already done so. There was no bottled water offered to paying customers and the pedicure station is a makeshift row bench not the usually recliners and bowls any spa goer is accustomed to. She did an excellent job on both the mani and pedi but seeing the $90 bill for both services made it difficult to tip for such basic services with no add on tips or paraffin waxes. Maybe my previous spa spoiled me with warm towel service and massage during each treatment but a girl wants what she wants especially for such high prices Needless to say...I'm still looking

I get in and she asks what I want then tells me I have to wait because she can't take me anymore someone else booked an appointment. UM HUH?!? Then the guy she gave me to rushed my nails. He kept cutting my fingers and the tools were getting too hot. what I originally wanted he wasn't able to do bc the fil in shade was not correct. So I asked if he just wanted to take my old set off and redo he said no it takes to much time. so yall dnt want the money. Heard. So I choose something easier for them to do, MY NAILS LOOKS LUMPY AF! The shape is terrible. I'm so mad I could cry. I refused to sit in there and let them even try to fix it because yall have played in my face enough. NEVER AGAIN if I could have put zero stars I would. NEGATIVE if possible. Edit: 11/9/25- after 2 hours of filing and shaping my nails down to look decent on Friday, today I went to look at my nails and my thumb nail has peeled off. Please do not ever support this business. I had been to salons all over the city I found a great one on the north side but it's just too far. This place is a lonely a few blocks from me which is great. I paid $60-including my tip for a no chip mani pedi. That's how much I used to pay in Philly so I was cool with that. The only thing I had a problem with was the lady didn't scrub my feet. She wanted to used that rake scrubber thing which I don't usually have people use on my feet they just scrub it with the pumice scrubber so I believe I threw her off that way because she didn't use the purple scrub on my legs just a little scrub and done. I messed with her process. She did scrub a little more when I asked her but next time I go I will just tell her make sure you scrub good but don't use that scraper thing on me. I will be back. What I asked for and what I got (I didn't want the LV logo…read moretho) Kim was very thorough with my pedicure and made sure that I chose the right color for my toes to match my full set. Bryan did a great job I am very happy with the outcome he was right on it with the color and as you can see from the picture pretty much what I asked for. With my eyelashes I bought my own strips so instead of 17 it was 14 for them to put them on but the adhesive they use lasts way longer plus I was in a hurry to be ready it's memorial day weekend. I have my go to nail shop which will always be my first choice but this shop does more designs that I can't get at my go-to. Plus there is much more staff here.
