One wouldn't even give me a quote without knowing how much I could spend. Cali siding and windows was completely different. Ivan came out to look at our siding. He listened when we explained what we wanted to repair, respectfully made recommendations, walked around the entire house to make sure all repair spots were noted. Their quote was reasonable and included siding and paint. Ivan answered all my questions regarding roof tiles and what would happen if the damage extended beyond the siding. They scheduled the work to start the very next day and Alex and David were on time and friendly. David introduced himself and Alex, and they answered multiple questions I had while they worked. The work itself was top quality. They were careful when removing the old siding to not disturb other parts of the house. They installed the new siding and sealed every joint and nail head before painting. The paint matches perfectly. And they did it all in two days! After they were done they took special care to clean up, picking up every scrap of debris. I've never had contractors clean up after themselves so well. He did just that and let us know that there was nothing to worry about as the installed beams were just reinforcement for something heavy that might have once been stored there like a gun safe, but were not integral to the structure of the sub floor. I discovered some Termite damage in three Floor Joists and Rim Joists in my home. The Pest…read moreInspector said there was no active infestation, but I should call a General Contractor. Danny's first Crawl Space inspection led him to guestimate was there was $5,000-$6,000 of damage, but there was no way to know for sure without removing the exterior wall. After Danny thought about it for a couple weeks before he came to work on the house, he came up with a stroke of genius. Instead of removing the exterior siding, he cut a hole in the floor by the damaged Floor Joists so he could easily reach the damage without multiple trips through the crawl space. Then instead of replacing a 6+ foot length of Floor Joist, he nailed 8"x2" pressure treated wood bracing on either side of the Floor Joists and backed-up 4 Rim Joists with 8"x2" pressure treated wood. He also screwed into the foundation sidewall pressure treated 2"x4" wood side bracing support from the foundation footing to the bottom of four Floor Joists. He did this all in one day (with a helper) at a cost of $1,000 instead of his original guestimate of $5K-$6K. Danny is a Genius, hard worker, and very honest!

It was a Monday around 11:00am when we arrived at the store location on Longley. The doors were locked and no sign or anything to indicate they were not open. We called the phone number on the door and a lady answered and said "she was in the back and the only one there and the owners didn't like her to let anyone in if she was the only person in the store." We told her we just wanted to look at their windows and get an estimate to which she replied, "I'm too busy now to come to the door." Well, as you might expect, Window World was taken off our list of potential providers for windows and we chose another company to give our money to. Thank you, Window World, for nothing.
