I booked Beautini to do the hair for a few women attending my wedding, including myself. I reached out pretty last minute, but they were able to fit me in to their schedule. Throughout the planning process they were extremely responsive, clear, and professional. If you've planned an event before, you know how helpful this is! Update: I emailed and sent a direct message to the Founder/CEO Brittany Lo (since her page is in the Beautini Instagram bio). She did reply to me via email the next day which I appreciated and I replied back to hers. I welcomed the opportunity to speak more about my experience however I haven't heard from her. I didn't understand how her response was so prompt before but wasn't after my response. I went onto Instagram to only find out that she blocked me. As the Founder/CEO (who I didn't harass, curse out, or use any derogatory words towards her) to block someone after a complaint especially after stating in her email that "I would have loved to show you a true beautini experience as I would never want you to walk away with a bad taste in your mouth" is shocking, disheartening, and clearly was written with no real follow up. And yes the CEO blocked me because I asked someone else to see if they can click her name under the Beautini bio (which I cannot) and see if they can see the posts (which I cannot). I cannot even click on her website. This action in itself shows me 2 things: 1: The Founder/CEO does not like when a customer is truly honest about services rendered/lack of services by her employees and 2. Beautini is not about fixing the problem (in my case this is true) and would rather say they're sorry and not show they're sorry. Of course not everyone's experience is the same and I do wish Beautini's future customers a better experience than mine (whether at a bridal event or on the wedding day itself.) read more

I was starting to look into hair and make-up companies in March of 2020, and then the world shut down from the covid pandemic... Some companies I had been eyeing seemed to have given up during the shut down, however I saw that Brittany was working her butt off, staying positive, and adapting to what was going on in the world. I had reached out to several companies. To my surprise Brittany, the face/ceo of the company, called me directly to speak to me and answer all my questions, and shared insight on what was going on with other weddings. The other companies I had conversed over email, with who knows who, of the company. It was just so much more personable with Brittany. Though Beautini was a bit more than what I budgeted, I had confidence in Beautini's team to make me look and feel my best on my wedding day, without the stress. Brittany assured me that they would be as flexible as they could be if we had to make changes or reschedule our wedding. She also assured that her makeup artist would know how to apply makeup on asian features, which was a concern of mine. Luckily, we did not have to reschedule, and went through with a small wedding on Nov 28, 2020. We had to bump our wedding to be earlier in the day to keep everything outdoors, which meant the beauty team had to arrive at the crack of dawn! All artists arrived on time, masked, washed their hands, set up their sanitized tools/makeup and got to work, they were all professional and in good spirits; adapting to the tight space in my 1 Hotel suite. I had Aneta for makeup and Tracina for hair, who I had met during my trial, and they were so lovely to work with and reflected the changes that I asked for on my wedding day. I also had Taren and Selena for hair and make-up for my bridesmaids. Our makeup and hair stayed perfect the entire day, even through the windy fall weather along the water. There was a little mix-up with how many artists I was expecting when coordinating/scheduling the day of events, but it was all sorted out. If it comes down to planning our wedding reception (which I had to cancel) I would love to work with Beautini's team again! They were worth the cost. We did it safely, and no one got sick! It was an absolute pleasure to work with Beautini for our wedding at Liberty Warehouse this past May! Kelsi, Lynn, Carlie, Jackie and the full Beautini team were very easy to work with. Before the wedding they had me in for a trial to try different hair and make-up styles so that I would feel comfortable with the look on the day of. They then came in person on the day of the wedding to do hair and make-up for me, my 5 bridesmaids and our 2 mothers. It was so much fun! My sister hired Beautini to do the hair & makeup for herself, the bridal party and mothers of the bride & groom for her wedding. It seemed promising at first but they arrived to the bridal suite without chairs or lights, even though they previously confirmed they would have all of those things with them. The two girls who did the bride's hair and makeup were decent but the other two were pretty terrible. Unfortunately I was scheduled for both of them. I showed the woman who did my hair a photo of what I wanted (a simple low bun with a French braid on one side) and she didn't even try to recreate it. She did a completely different type of braid and I eventually had to ask her to redo it. In all the photos, there are baby hairs sticking out underneath so it looked like a complete mess. The woman who did my makeup had the chair facing away from the window and did a horrible job blending my eyeshadow. I also found out later that the bride had asked them to apply false lashes to all of us and this woman didn't give me any. Aside from the fact that two of the women were not as skilled as the others, they also were assigned a specific number of people to do. Once they were done, they packed up their stuff and just sat there while two more girls were waiting to get their hair done by the other hair stylist. We were told that she couldn't have help because they each get paid by the number of people they style. That's great for them but we hired Beautini as a company, not these girls individually. The one woman took so much time to finish that our photos were delayed and we were a half hour late to the wedding ceremony. This was COMPLETELY unprofessional. We hired this company to perform a service - you would think that they would throw all hands on deck to ensure that they finish on time! Overall, very poor job and I do not recommend. Also, if you do decide to go with Beautini, do NOT rent the bathrobes to get ready in. I'm not sure why my sister did this in the first place but they all smelled like BO. They were gross but we didn't have any other options to take photos in so we were all forced to put them on. read more

I did make up and hair trial before my wedding. My husband and I didn't like at all. And it looked horrible on the pictures. They tried to make changes but were not successful. When I told the hair stylist that I didn't like what she did with my hair, instead of trying to listen and understand, she got offended. I think it was very unprofessional. They charged me $250 for this trial that was so awful that when my friends saw me, they were shocked that I paid for it and it was done by "professionals". I went with Beautini to provide hair and makeup for myself, five bridesmaids, and two moms on my wedding day. From the start the whole team was incredibly wonderful. I did a hair and makeup trial with them in February, and Brittany provided a second hair trial to me free of charge when the first one went awry. On the wedding day itself we had four stylists, and they were unbelievable. Each girl picked their own hairstyle and makeup look, and the Beautini team knocked it out of the park. They were so efficient that was actually finished early, which is unheard of. Everyone absolutely raved about their hair and makeup, and the looks stayed put all night. Brittany and her team at Beautini were so wonderful to work with! My hair and make-up looks were admittedly the one thing that I obsessed over. The problem was, the hair I had in mind didn't go with the dress that I loved and bought, and I had never had my make-up professionally done and therefore had no idea what I was asking for. Brittany was incredibly understanding and helped me book my hair and make-up trial, and then another trial when I still wasn't completely sure and changed basically the entire look. She also didn't make me feel silly for being so indecisive, which was a blessing. She worked with my wedding coordinator to make sure the timing of the day was right and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. Mailey helped me come up with a hair style that accentuated the dress but which I also felt comfortable in and was also really fun to spend such a big day with, and Sandy made sure the entire wedding party looked stunning. My experience with Beautini was positive from the start - my emails were always promptly answered and everyone I spoke to was so easy, sweet, and pleasant to talk to (Kelsi you are an angel!!!). Having a one-stop shop for hair & makeup for myself, my 9 bridesmaids, my mom, and my grandma made me feel so much more organized and they took all the stress out of having to schedule & worry about two different (but equally important) vendors. That morning, (despite it being sometime around 6 am), Carly, Jackie, Lynn and Allison arrived right on time, pleasant, and ready to set up and get going. Having them there felt like an extension of my friends - we were all listening to music, chatting & hanging out while others got their hair and makeup done. While all four of the girls did an INCREDIBLE job on everyone, Carly did my makeup and Jackie did my hair and I couldn't have been happier - they hit my vision right on the head and took their time to really listen to what I was looking for; it was obvious that they really take pride in their work and wanted me to be totally happy and comfortable with how I looked.
