Today, I started getting texts that they moved my appointment to 12:00. Then I got another message asking for my ETA, followed by more messages changing the time again, first to 12:22, then 12:23, then 12:25. At that point, I had no idea what my actual appointment time even was. I told them I could arrive at 12:15 or earlier if needed, but the constant changes made it impossible to plan. I canceled because the whole thing was so disorganized. Then they told me I was a "no-show" for my original appointment and said they would charge a cancellation fee, even though they were the ones repeatedly changing the time. Completely unprofessional. Poor communication, no respect for your time, and chaotic scheduling. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

want to be honest about my experience with the training. I genuinely appreciated a lot of what I…read morelearned. The training helped me become much more comfortable with regular polish and pedicures, which were areas I was not very confident in before. I learned how to move through a pedicure efficiently, how to prep the nail quickly, clean around the cuticle, and work through the service in a way that I did not learn in school. Those are skills I will take with me moving forward, and for that I am grateful. However, I also experienced several inconsistencies throughout the training that I feel are important to mention. For one, other trainees received training days/opportunities that I did not receive. I also felt that the expectations were not always applied consistently between trainees. There were times when I was expected to talk to clients about certain products, and I made a point to do so with almost every client, while I personally sat next to another trainee who was not doing the same thing and still ended up being hired. There was also an issue with how my work was evaluated. I was given feedback based on what was described as the last regular polish application the trainer saw me perform. However, that was not actually the last regular polish service I performed. I completed another client afterward, but that service was not observed, meaning there was no opportunity for that work to be evaluated or for me to receive feedback on it. I don't believe it is fair to give someone a final assessment of their ability when not all of their work was actually observed. I also did not feel that I received the same opportunities to demonstrate my skills as everyone else. Because of that, I don't feel that my final evaluation was a completely accurate representation of my abilities. Additionally, there was an incident involving a comment about Juneteenth that was made in a way that came across to me as smirking and dismissive. Regardless of someone's personal connection to or familiarity with Juneteenth, I don't think comments that come across that way are appropriate in a professional training environment. It made me uncomfortable, and I feel it is important to acknowledge that experience. My review has also since been removed, which is disappointing because I believe students should be able to give honest feedback about their training experiences.
