Walking the city for days and my nails were ready for a makeover. I stopped in for a manicure and pedicure and couldn't have been happier. Rita was my tech and she is truly amazing at what she does. She also does eyebrows and did an excellent job. I asked her to keep them full, just clean them up and she did exactly that. She is also very fun to talk to and has great energy. I must add that I love a good hard massage on my legs and feet, and she is one strong woman. She even added a shoulder massage at the end. Fantastic!!! The salon was clean, easy to find and I was offered water, coffee or hot tea. I decided to have the lemon ginger tea and I was so relaxed. Everybody here is so friendly and kind. I've gone to get my nails done here quite a few times already. I usually do walk ins and came back to this spot because of the quick service and the hospitality. However, I had a not so great experience today. I'm not too sure what the nail tech's name was (I often get seated with different ones with each walk in). Anyways, her approach to prepping and trimming my cuticles was quite questionable. I've never had any nail tech push my cuticle up with that much force before (it was quite painful) and unfortunately ended up nicking my finger while she was trimming my cuticles. There was no form of apologies. She merely wiped it and used a liquid styptic skin protector. I wasn't going to write a review like this...but it's been 3 hours since I got my nails done, and the cut is still bleeding. Otherwise, I do recommend this place. read more

The people are SO nice at this salon but I just feel like after experiencing many nail salons in newyork nobody puts in the effort to retain clients because they know they will still stay in service. I came in to get acrylic removed and the lady was so kind but you can tell she rushed by not letting my nails soak and there is still acrylic on my nail after she finished. And it cost me $30 + tip which I left $5 due to the bad job. Left with worse mani pedi than I walked in with But it's now almost two weeks later and three toes still have infections that I'm treating 3 times a day. Watch out for cleanliness... a sterile kit opened in front of you is pointless if the tech keeps touch a filthy trash can and the floor and wiping instruments on her lap. Friend I was with got tips that cost a fortune and one flicked off not an hour after we left. Neither of us wanted to go back. Oh and the price we were quoted was well over average and when I questioned it the manager told me it was "all inclusive " and I said tax and gratuity? And she said yes. Then when we paid she asked for a tip. Keep in mind.... Almost $250 for a normal mani pedi ( that was sooo bad ) and a gel pedicure and gel tips mani. And we were there almost 3hrs. Nuts! Left with bleeding cuticles- don't recommend for a dip manicure. Rushed and not detailed.

Was able to make a same day pedicure appointment for two people by calling ahead a few hours in advance on a Saturday. Staff is sweet & caring. They take coats and bring you a coat check number. Covid Era- temperatures were taken upon entry, and contact info was taken for tracing, dividers in places where people might be next to each other, distance between guests when possible unless friends arriving together don't need more space, sanitizing seats and tables after people leave. The only star reduction was that my pedicure didn't make it to the end of the day, despite being under the dryer for a good 20min after polish was put on. That's disappointing, but I don't know when or if I'll have time to request it be fixed. read more

My girlfriends and I made a reservation for a big group to get manicures. We all got gel manicures which start at $48. If you need to do some sort of removal, it's an additional $25. They do French manicures really well - additional $15 - as half of us opted to do that. I received my service from Ivy and she did the French design quickly and with detail! I definitely recommend seeing her :) Everyone else had very friendly staff too. With their service they also provide a short massage which was amazing after a bottomless brunch hahaha. Overall, a fun experience but just know that they are a bit pricey for their services - especially considering some of their additional charges. All of us got knicked a bit during our prep. I got gel mani and regular pedi. They have pretty standard chair massage for during the pedicure part. They used a disposable callous remover and gave my feet a fairly good scrub, but I was disappointed that the skin was still very dry and thick on the heels. Maybe an exfoliant scrub with some oils, or at least some lotion, would have been good to soften things up. The toe nails looked good when they were finished, but unfortunately they took way longer to dry than I thought. I took a nap 2 hours after the session and immediately messed up the big toes. The manicure was above average, but not the best I've ever had. My manicurist was very attentive and there wasn't any polish where it wasn't supposed to be, and the edges were sealed nicely. It lasted 6 days before minor cracks started to show, and 8 days before it started to peel off at the tips. This is average to above average for me since I'm pretty harsh on my nails and never really get the full 2 weeks expected from gel polish. I liked that my manicurist asked if I wanted my nails to be cut or just filed. She didn't ask about the shape before proceeding, though, but luckily I wanted rounded anyway. She also took a bit too much cuticle away. Got hang nails for days. As for the facility itself, everything is sterilized and clearly so. They opened sealed packets of instruments per customer, and placed used ones in solution right away. They used disposable bags in the water bath. The gel UV machine was wiped down right before I used it. There were partitions between the chairs that were removable. Staff had masks on at all times. We had an appointment and there was no wait at all. read more

Heretofore, I have not been impressed by my experiences at nail salons in New York. Over the 10+ years that I've been coming here (quarterly), I have tried A LOT. From the super chic, to the not so much ...all in an effort to get a GOOD pedicure, and excellent manicure (with maintenance of my acrylic/gel/whatever the latest is nails. So I only had a pedicure here, but I was hugely impressed. The salon is very nice, unlike many in the city, they actually have pedicure chairs and the process was very efficient, attentive and well done. read more
