I came here for the first time all the way from Upper west side. I made an appointment and they took me 20 min late with no explanation and were kind of rude about it. I had never been there before so I walked in and they made me sit in the front away from everyone with no update. About 5 girls walked in after me and were seated right away and they did not make any of them sit in waiting room by the cold front door. I booked an apt with nail design and then they said they don't think they would have time to do it and I said you are the one who took me 20 Min late, how is that my problem? Then the technician attempted to stick stickers on my nails and made a mess to the point where I told her to stop and just take them off. I would not come back for that experience and there was no real apology or discount for the inconvenience. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON!!!!!!!!!!! I have been getting my nails done religiously every month for more than 10 years and never have I had an experience this TERRIBLE. I got my nails done here on May 13, 2026. As the technician was working on my nails I was not happy with the shape the design or anything and told her multiple times to fix it but she would not understand. But I was in a rush and had to leave for multiple trips back to back so I just dealt with how bad my nails looked. Come to find out exactly 4 months later when I go to my old salon to get my nails fixed they're taking my nails off to uncover FUNGUS IN MY NAILS!! I have attached a picture below for yall to see how appalling it is. I asked my derm and the salon how this could've happened and they said it was bc they used unsterile equipment and did not apply the products or do the service correctly causing moisture to get trapped under my nails and cause fungus. If this was my first couple times getting my nails done and I wasn't taking care of them right that's one thing but I've had my nails don't every 4 weeks for 13 years now so I KNOW this isn't normal. And then their customer service has the audacity to tell this was MY FAULT. DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THEIR AESTHETIC AND THAT THEY SAY EVERYTHING IS CLEAN. ITS NOT! Genuinely have never come across a worst salon in my life. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! I decided to try TownHouse after hearing great things from a content creator who recommended it, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing from the start. This was my first visit, and I booked a manicure and pedicure. I didn't realize they work on you simultaneously with two different technicians, which already made the experience feel rushed. Maleik began my manicure, and while things initially seemed fine, he pushed very hard on the cuticle of my thumb--even after I tapped his hand and told him it was sensitive. He did it again, which immediately made me anxious because both my hands and feet are very sensitive. I found myself apologizing repeatedly even though the issue wasn't my fault. For the pedicure, Norma handled my service. She asked me to place my feet in the water, but it was extremely hot. I asked her to cool it down, and she did, but it made me more cautious. From the beginning, I asked her to be gentle. Despite that, she used a stainless steel callus remover on my right heel with a very hard pass. Had she taken a moment to look, she would have noticed my heel is already soft and didn't require that tool at all--just a light scrub. That one rough pass caused discomfort and felt completely unnecessary. To top it off, the nail color I selected from their website was not the color I received. It was noticeably different, which was frustrating after already feeling uncomfortable throughout the appointment. Not worth $155.40 for bad experience. Overall, I left feeling more stressed than relaxed. For a salon with such positive reviews, I expected much more attention to comfort, communication, and care. read more

If you want quality service on your nails, this is the place to go. The minute you walk in, you can tell the place has a clean, positive, upscale vibe. The technicians are happy to be working there. They are nice, easy to communicate with, and will go out of their way to meet your needs. They are careful with their work, have good attention to detail, and are very professional. They make you feel at home and leave you wanting to keep coming back. My favorite technicians are Diana, Alma, Anjana, Lia and Doris. I never leave negative reviews but I had a really disappointing experience at the Flatiron location today. I had an appointment booked at 10:30a. When I arrived and checked in, they told me my appointment had been cancelled. I quickly checked my texts. Nothing. Then my emails. It turns out they had emailed me at 10am to cancel my 1030a, but the email went to my junk folder. Regardless, don't you think a cancellation should be made more than 30 minutes beforehand? And, that it should have been a call or at the very least a text? The staff member I spoke to onsite was polite and I knew it wasn't her fault. She said she'd email her manager or boss to tell them what happened and to remedy the situation. Well, 9 hours later and I haven't heard anything. read more

I have been to this nail salon before and while I was living in London Townhouse Nails was also my frequent nail salon. I had not had a problem until the last time I went. I requested for hard gel removal pedicure and manicure. Pedicure was great and no problems at all. But if you come to this Townhouse do not have Doris (I believe is her name) take off your gel or potentially do your nails! For the entire hour my right and left nails were burning from her e-filing so harsh. When I told her they burned, she thankfully stopped for a bit but then continued. Multiple times I had to tell her to stop because she was causing me so much pain. She also made me bleed on multiple fingers when taking off the dead skin/removing the cuticle. They did give me a 30% discount but gratuity is automatically included :( I usually love when I come to this salon, so I was very upset leaving and my fingers feel raw and sensitive. Nail techs are skilled & pleasant. But customer service is poor and makes a visit to Townhouse a disappointment. On site customer service is basically non-existent. The manager has no authority to address customer concerns, other than to offer a discount (which is pointless if you have a membership). Emailed customer service complaints are addressed only in part and no effort is made to find resolution. Color selection is limited and customers cannot bring their own polish in, even of the same brand! Finally, members cannot cancel their memberships directly and must contact customer service. read more

Townhouse made the whole experience easy and relaxing from start to finish! Made my appt online (though you can also walk in and do it on the kiosk), checked in on the kiosk, and was taken back within 3 min of arrival. Pedi stations are very comfortable and well thought out, with a removable table for manicures and resting your arms while using your phone. Polish choices are available via a QR code (so you can look while you get started) and there is a drink menu available as well! Both manicurist and pedicurist were so gentle, soooo nice, and made the entire experience relaxing and stress free. Zero pain and beautiful results! My nails look the best I've ever had-super even, clean lines, no bubbles or lines, and shiny! The entire salon was super clean and products used were new-bonus, you get to keep the nail files after!
