I had no faith she could execute a French manicure so I told her to do just one plain color. Even the paint job is awful! I will say their AC isn't super strong but it does the job, but I came in during a very HOT day and took a minute to cool off. Bling Nail Spa was amazing. It exceeded my expectations. My sister's wedding was coming up in 2 days and I was rushing to get my nails done. I was running around looking for a reputable nail salon nearby. I was basing my search off of Yelp and Google reviews. Interestingly, I find that many nail salons with an average of 4+ star reviews in Chinatown are closed on Thursdays (today). And I need to leave for the wedding on Friday so my nails need to be done today! I was looking all day and it was already 5pm. My sister was sending me places and I called each one of them. Some of them were rude and others were closing soon. I called Bling Nail Spa at around 5:15pm. They gave me prices over the phone, which were comparable prices in the area, and they would take me as a walk-in. I walked in at 5:30pm, they asked me to pick a color and I was sat down right away to get my nails done. No waiting at all! I got a regular manicure for $18 and regular pedicure for $30. Pedicure first. My nail technician was Myrian. She worked very quickly because she knows what she's doing. She was thorough, detailed, and cared about doing a good job. When a toenail was messed up she immediately cleaned it off and redid it. For pedicure, she also sat me down a massage chair, clip my toenails to shape it, filed them, polished them, did my cuticles, soaked my feet in warm water with sea salt, remove my calluses, and drying my feet before applying nail polish. She applied 2 coats of paint before applying the clear nail polish. For manicure, I was escorted to the table near the front of the shop. She did the same procedure; shaping, filing, polishing, cuticles, and lotioned my hands before painting. They did ask me to pay before doing my nails before they don't want my nails to mess up later on when it's finished and I have to dig my hands in my bag for payment. My experience has been amazing so far and I felt that my hands and feet were well taken care of. Didn't even think it could get any better BUT IT DID! When I was sitting at the nail cooler to get my nails dried, Linda came to check on me after about 20 minutes. She find that two of my toenails already got chipped. She immediately redid my toenails without me even asking! This shows that THEY CARE ABOUT DOING A GOOD JOB! They don't just do their job and let you go. They want to make sure that your nails are perfectly done before you leave the salon. I was impressed by their work ethic. Before I go, because I need to put my socks on and my feet back into my sneakers, one of the ladies brushed cleared nail polish on my toenails once more and wrapped it with plastic. Then I put my feet back into my shoes and when I got home, THEY WERE STILL PERFECT! I'm writing this review after my sister's wedding and my nails are still in excellent shape. I couldn't be happier about my nails and I'm so grateful for their service. The staffs here worked as a team. It may seem like each person is taking care of their own customer but they really look out for each other and work together. It's a great environment in here. So glad I found this place. P.S. I'm not the type of person who do my nails. This is the first time I've ever visited a nail salon in my life and the last time I even got my nails painted by myself was probably more than 4 years ago. I came here with my sister who was visiting and it was right outside of our hotel. Alice was my technician who did my spa pedicure. Now, I've gotten pedicures before and they are good, but this was outstanding. Alice was so attentive to my feet and spent time in my callous feet from all the walking. And the massage was the icing on the cake that I paid for additional minutes for the massage. I went here because they had amazing reviews and everyone seemingly enjoyed their service. I arrived for my appointment at 4:30. They took about 50 minutes to remove the nails I had on. It usually takes about 30. I let them know I was in a little bit of a rush. I asked for medium almond round tips. Which come from the gel-x sets. They started putting long coffin tips on, I asked for the medium round tips since they had some in the box. She adamantly kept saying no, they don't have, she could file, don't worry she could file to the shape. I asked but won't it take longer, no no it'll be fine. It wasn't fine. I then asked for chrome. She didn't do the chrome right, she let the gel fully cured, then she kept having to re do nails over and over and over. I thought she was being detailed but really she kept messing up. Anyways, I left with uneven, sloppy, poorly done nails for $105. They issue absolutely no refunds so I'm going to call AMEX and see what my options are. If you want a basic manicure I'm sure they're fine. If you want clean, pretty, gel x don't waste 2 hours and $100. read more

I came in this past Sunday with my dad and my roommate to get a pedicure as well as a gel manicure. My hands look great and I'm pleased with that experience. My issue was with my pedicure. The actual nail polish itself looks fine but the nail tech made my nail bleed. She cut the skin which is a big no no for me! I also paid to upgrade the pedicure and receive a 10 minute massage. The massage was not great and it felt like she was just going through the motions as opposed to actually massaging the muscles. I walked in for a 'quick' regular mani- pedi and I'm glad they accept walk-ins. They probably normally don't but they appeared to have a couple of nail technicians free. Right away, I was impressed with their expansive nail polish selection. Lots of gorgeous and trendy new colors. They have Essie, OPI and Jin Soon. They also maintained clean premises, liners in the foot spa and fresh callus removal liners. Stephany was my nail technician and she was just the nicest person, she was gentle with removing the cuticles. Been looking for a reasonably priced nail salon in the area and this one wasn't too bad! I came on a Thursday around 5pm. It was busy but I was able to get in right away. I got a classic pedicure, which was okay. They definitely could've cured my callouses more (I got rough feet) and a chrome gel mani. This was my first time getting chrome and I noticed there was a lot of glitter around my cuticles when I left (it has since washed off). The chrome has some tiny spots where you can see the base color but I think the tech did her best to be meticulous. I called and asked about a mani pedi and they told me I could come right in, and I was seen right away! They were fairly busy almost all the manicure seats were full and 2 of the pedi spots were taken. It's $15 for a regular mani, $45 for a mani pedi, which I feel is around average for the area. You may be able to find a cheaper spot but Bling Nail is convenient and clean. They sanitized before I sat down, all of the staff were wearing masks and they had dividers up between seats. My first visit was on 5/15, Coco did my nails. Days gill owing my appointment, my nails started to crack around my tips and cuticles. These are my real nails with a SNS powder on them. I ha e had SNS many times before but this has to be my least favorite. The women in the shop are kind, that is why I will give this review 2 stars. Otherwise, they get one star from me. After Covid I haven't been able to go to my usual nail spot which was near my old office. Only recently felt brave enough to go out and treat myself. I googled places around my area to try and they had really good reviews and everyone wrote how clean it is so I decided to give it a try. It was a bit pricey than my usual place ($40 for a gel). They have some really cool color choices for the gel including some that are a gorgeous metallic but those are an extra $10. They prefer you pay in cash if you can or at least tip in cash. I always have a great experience coming here with my boyfriend for mani/pedi's. They take so much care to ensure your nails are done to your preference. A pedi includes the usual and some extras: a warm jetted soak, gentle nail clipping/polishing/filing/cuticle removal, a foot/calf scrub massage, light callus removal, hot towel rinse, lavender spray, paint, and a pleasant back massage while your toes dry in the machine. If your nails get a chip while drying, they even take care to fix it right away. The price is more than reasonable as the super sweet technicians almost always do a great job.
