I went to the Heena Salon for the first time to treat myself to some wonderful henna art. I worked with Jasmine. She was so wonderful to work with! I wanted to do something special for myself and she wasted no time seeing the vision. She did henna on both hands and my stomach! She made suggested and freestyled. It was so beautiful! My kids love it! She was so fun to talk too as well. I am definitely returning to do more exciting henna. With her amazing talent, I can't go wrong! Ruby does a fantastic job on my brows. She always gets the tint perfect and her threading is top notch. The prices are fair (they do charge a surcharge to pay with a card) and if you can come during the work day there is very little wait. Only reason Id come again is because it's inexpensive to do brow threading. Horrible customer service and they dont honor promotions that are on their Five star app. I was supposed to get a free heena but because their system didn't register it, I had to pay. Not sure what happened here. The first couple of times I came here, service was phenomenal. Lady named Gigi did my eyebrows and they were perfect. I think they have hired new people who are not skilled enough. I had to have her take a look back, because the brows didnt match after she threaded them....then when she went back to try and fix, I think she took too much off. I paid the money just to get out of there. I will go back, but I'll call first and ask if Gigi will be working. If she is not, then I won't risk it. read more

I honestly have never had a complaint about their employees they're all really nice and the ladies I've gone to in the past always trim my brows and apply aloe after. It's $4 flat meaning it's a possible risk they're not gonna be 100% perfect. On the other hand, I would never do the "lash extensions". They're not bonded correctly and can cause severe irritation and pain. read more

I NEVER REVIEW ON YELP BUT LITERALLY IM SO UPSET AT THIS PLACE. I've had so many bad experiences at threading salons because they never listen, and I'm sad to say this place is added to the list. I came in explaining exactly what I didn't want them to do and they did exactly that. They left ONE of my eyebrows way too thin and tried explaining that's the natural shape of my eyebrow but right before she even did anything I told her how I knew my eyebrow was a tad bit arched and I wanted to just remove a little from the bottom but she made the arch so big. While she was threading I felt her go in too deep into my eyebrow so I stopped her and told her I didn't want her to keep going but she pushed me down and told me it was fine. My second eyebrow she barely did it anything to it and I thought she would at least try to even them out but she didn't. After she showed me what she finished I just let it go I didn't want her touching my eyebrows any longer. It wasn't just my eyebrows they ruined I took my mom with me and they ruined hers too. They left a gap in one of her eyebrows and left them shapeless to sum it up. Another thing I didn't like was that they didn't even trim the eyebrow hair they just left them like that and they didn't apply the alcohol to soothe the threading process. For only $4 you can expect a really good job or a poor one. Every time I come here I always have a good experience and the ladies are really nice. Yesterday though I got someone that I've never seen before after she was done with my eyebrows I started feeling itchy. Later on it started to get worse, I never had an issue like this before. I will never be returning here. They have lost a faithful customer. Gigi was extremely rude and unprofessional. These ladies need some classes on manners and on how to treat customers. If you don't like your job, find another one, don't take it out on paying customers who tip! After letting the owner know the rude comments that Gigi had said, he dismissed them quickly mentioning that he gets 800 customers on a weekend there, basically telling me that he didn't care. This was such a surprisingly great experience. I'm from way out of town and decided I should do my eyebrows. Their $4 threading service is what caught my attention. I walked in and noticed a bunch of chairs in a line so I assumed they get busy often, and sure enough 2 minutes later there was at least 15 other girls walking in. Service is quick but not too quick so you know that your eyebrows aren't being rushed and I was so satisfied with them! If I ever come back to Texas this will be my go to for eyebrows. Gave this place a shot for the 2nd time...and still disappointed. Went in during their grand opening to see them completely mess up on eyebrow tinting on another client. I've been getting full face thread since I was a teenager, and the thread they use is by far the worst thread I've experienced. The thread was too painful I had to stop the lady multiple in between. They messed up on my eyebrows the first time I went there, and messed up on it again. The lady that did my eyebrows does not quite know how to shape them. Very disappointed. Worst place go get a wax. The worker was using wax that was not even hot enough.. Then she pulls the wax and nothing comes off. I had to recommend another worker which was a Little better but I will not be returning. The workers do not know what they are doing. I want to start off by saying that I am Indian and have been threading my brows for the last 14 years so my opinion on threading may be of interest to you. This is a very popular threading salon in Mesquite because of the very low price. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I would never condemn a business nor write a negative review after one bad experience, but I have come here every two weeks for a year before I realized that my eyebrows looked much better before I started getting them threaded here. The threading here is mediocre: most of the threaders take longer than they should to do their job, which makes it more painful depending on who threads your brows. The pain is not intolerable once you start threading more frequently, but it should be painless when skillfully done. The MAJOR issue is that most threaders here either do an uneven job (even considering brows are sisters not twins), take too much hair off, cut you, and instead of finding the best shape for your face, give everyone the same brows. I will say that there are a couple threaders here on occasion that have done a decent job, but your chances of getting them are slim because of their disorganized system. I would have given them two stars, but the fact that no one working there ever knows the order in which the clients should be served is pretty infuriating when you've waited so long (their wait time sucks). You pull a numbered ticket out when you arrive but everyone is still guessing when their turn comes and you end up seeing customers who arrive after you getting served before you. If you want some random bits of hair painfully removed from your brows, a few bald spots, plus a couple minor cuts and/or an overall assymmetrical look, you will mostly likely get that here. If you want even, full brows custom-shaped to your face with minimal to no pain, look elsewhere or learn it yourself from Youtube. Sincerely, That girl who keeps walking out of your salon disappointed. P.S. Fedora-wearing guy at front desk is very friendly; I hope you appreciate the feedback although it's negative. A decent place for eyebrow threading. The cost is $4 and the service is quick. They also do eyebrow tinting for $10. The tinting is a henna color so it's uber dark till you thoroughly wash several times. So avoid doing it right before work or something. read more

This place does NOT offer quality customer service. I am not satisfied at all with the work they did. I would not recommend their hair highlighting service. They really do not know what they are doing. They don't help you choose the color you want. They actually left bleach on my hair too long that my head started to hurt. From the start, I told them the color I would like, and when they finished, color was completely wrong. They would not fix their mistakes without wanting to charge me more for it. (which does not make sense at all to me!) They are understaffed and did not provide me the service I paid for. One person is running around trying to do my hair and leaving me in middle of the service to go do eyebrows. And as far as eyebrows, they need more training. First, it saddens me when people give unfair negative reviews. ( mainly when they get angry over something silly) I have been a customer since this business opened. I come in weekly and I recommend them to friends. I get complemented often on my eyebrows. They are quick, skilled and I feel safe with them. That being said I do have technicians I go to specifically. I love their work! But honestly they all do a great job. The owners are always there and greeting people. Sometimes the place is packed but that makes sense people- $4.00 for eyebrow that look fierce. That makes sense right? I have NEVER gone anywhere else and I will not. They do lashes, waxing, etc. I am going to get a henna tattoo now that its summer for sure. Like I said, I feel safe there. One of the owners Nadia really makes sure you are greeted and you get in a seat asap. Nothing to complain about. Cheap services is the only pro at this place. I had to wax some of my face. First they put burning wax on my face. Then I asked them not to thread that area, and an older lady who didn't know how to thread properly cut my face. Not a small cut either, like 2mm. It still hurts and it's been a day. They also waxed the same area like 7 times. I counted. One lady tried three times and then she asked another lady to do it. And she did it another three times. They also were trying to wax my side burns when I never said I wanted them done so they had to wipe all the wax off. I would rather pay more money for a better job. I usually go to the heena salon in richardson and see Raj but i moved so this one was closer to me. I got my eyebrows done and it HURT. I get my eyebrows done regularly so it usually doesn't hurt. Do not come to this place for eyelash extensions. The girl who did mine did not know what she was doing, so mine started falling out the second I left the place. After a week most of my lashes (fake and real) fell out. They use cheap eyelash glue and lashes from the beauty supply store or dollar store. Though the one thing I've never had bad experience with were my eyebrows. If you don't care for wait time or bad service than I highly recommend the eyebrow service they do. Went here about two weeks ago to get my eye lash extensions done. I was thrilled about the price. But you get what you pay for plus a bad experience. She glued my eye shut and ripped off a few of my bottom lashes not to mention the placement was horrible and one eye looked way more dramatic than the other. You know when you placed your lash too close to your inner eye corner and it pokes and irritates you? Yeah this place gave me two weeks worth of that. Currently having trouble taking them off, because my eyelashes are just chunks of glue and the extensions all balled up together at the root so it's been a painful two days trying to get them off and noting is working.
