I was quoted around $300 from a different make up artist just for the bridesmaid make up! This doesn't include hair or the lashes. Wtf? Anna, on the other hand, had such reasonable prices for what she does! Luckily, Anna was available for the day that I needed her. Anna arrived to my house to do my make up right on time. She was super nice, very personable, great at communicating and letting me inspect her work as she applied make up to my face. She was great at asking me what I wanted and making sure that I was happy with her work every step of the way. She even gave me some make up application tips as well as introduced me to some new products. I also loved the fact that when I asked her for her opinion, she was honest about what she thought looked good instead of being one of those make up artists that tell you what you want to hear and not be honest with you. She is also a perfectionist and notices the small details which I totally appreciate since she made sure to go back and fix my liner. Oh, and she's awesome at applying lashes just once and gets it right the first time! Who the hell does that?? When I try to put on lashes, I usually look like I have a lazy eye. Jess, in particular, worked wonders on my skin, which was struggling with a breakout and dryness both times. By the time she was done, my complexion looked smooth, radiant, and natural--I felt like the best version of myself without feeling overdone. Lindsey was equally thoughtful with my wife's hair. TRIAL - I used my engagement photoshoot in March 2025 as my…read moretrial for my wedding day hair and makeup - for the trial you go in person to the Auburn studio location which is a little house perched on the hill converted to a studio WEDDING DAY - initially had 4 people (myself included) for hair and makeup for my wedding day, which would have had me have 2 hair and makeup artists; however, my SILs decided to do my MIL's hair and makeup, so it then became 1 hair and makeup artist, Zoe COMMUNICATIONS - I had interviewed and emailed multiple hair and makeup artists/companies and moved forward with All Dolled Up due to location, pricing, portfolio, and because they were the only ones I spoke to that had airbrush - I liked how all communications were through the main portal/email - very professional; loved that there were email check point reminders and instructions as it got closer to both the trial and wedding day HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST - Zoe was my hair and makeup artist for my engagement photoshoot as well as for my wedding day - during the trial we jelled; Zoe was very warm, welcoming, bubbly, and such a hype woman! - I will say that I got a bit nervous because we went over time (if I recall correctly) for the trial by approximately 15-20 minutes; so I knew (and was instructed by my photographer) to give a hard stop for the wedding day because hair and makeup can notoriously go over your time - advice given to me by all recent brides was to give a buffer for yourself so that if/when hair and makeup goes over your hard stop, you'll still be OK and not rushing in the end - trial hair and makeup was great! - MOB and MOH on wedding day loved their hair and makeup by Zoe! - for my wedding day, I would have still liked if the front of my hair had more volume, but it was what it was; Zoe also underlined me for my lips, but an easy fix I was able to rectify; never be afraid to speak up too! once I saw the finished hair and makeup I was dissatisfied initially with the way my hair was parted, but Zoe had no issues redoing my part - another thing too that was commented on by the MOH was that it was interested that no touch up kits or samples are provided

No disclaimer. No asterisks. When you are given the owner's number, she stops responding as soon as you put any kind of pressure on her to hear you out and open up the room for a conversation (especially after originally leaving a 5 star review and being a Blo member). She refuses to give out an email, and just mentions that she set up a drip campaign 4 years ago and she has no idea where this came from (this came from her location's inbox). I believe that mistakes happen, but attitude and lack of effort to rectify is not a good look for the owner. Bringing this to the attention of others: there are other Blo salons that have $80 a month, even if membership is now $95, if you booked or cancelled under a pretense that came from the official location's messaging, you have a case to stand on. Bring this to the attention of corporate just like I will be doing.
