So I called the studio. No answer. I called again and finally reached a young woman who, surprisingly, didn't even seem to know the company's own cancellation policy. She repeatedly told me she would have to call her manager because she wasn't sure whether there was a cancellation fee. That immediately raised concerns. I even asked, "So your manager isn't at the location?" She told me no and assured me multiple times that she would call her manager and get back to me. I specifically asked if she would call me back, and she repeatedly reassured me that she would. She never did. I waited over an hour and a half. During that time, I called the studio three more times while they were still open. No one answered a single call. To be clear, I was never arguing about the cancellation fee. I literally told her that I understood business is business and that I was okay paying a cancellation fee if that was the policy. My goal was simply to reschedule my appointment for the following morning because I still wanted to come in. Instead, I was completely ignored. What made the situation even more confusing was being told that I had already been charged for my 8:30 p.m. session before the appointment had even happened. With no return call, no follow-up, and no one answering the phones, I was left completely in the dark. The level of customer service I received was incredibly disappointing. The employee I spoke with barely seemed engaged in the conversation, never introduced herself, didn't follow through on what she told me, and left me to chase answers myself. One simple phone call would have resolved this entire situation. It's amazing how one employee can completely change a customer's opinion of a business. After my first visit, I was genuinely excited to become a frequent customer. After this experience, I honestly have no desire to return. This review isn't because of a cancellation fee. It's because of poor communication and unprofessional customer service. Customers deserve better than being told they'll receive a callback that never comes, especially when they're making every effort to communicate before their scheduled appointment.
