Interesting experience here! I had never been to an infrared sauna before, and decided to try it out on ClassPass. I found parking about a block away, street metered, and was not really greeted very warmly upon walking in. The two young people at the front desk were busy on their phones. However, upon checking in, the girl showed me to my private sauna area and gave me an extremely brief run-down. She also gave me 3 cold water bottles which was nice. The sauna experience wasn't too bad. I did find the sauna itself a bit cramped and uncomfortable. I wish it was either big enough to lay down, or was more ergonomic while sitting as I found sitting in it for 45 minutes uncomfortable. I did like that it was private, although only by a curtain, so you can hear the private conversations going on outside. Not sure if I truly felt invigorated afterwards but I did sweat a lot! read more

I came here a few weeks ago to get their Tonic 333 as a birthday "treat myself". The place has state of the art equipment, that goes without being said. But I really thought the experience would be more 5-star, because their single-session prices (for cryo and lymph drainage) are more expensive than some well-know places in the area Here is some info I wish I knew before coming here, that other reviews don't state: -The front desk people are a guy and girl in their early 20s. They don't talk much and aren't very welcoming, but are perfectly polite. I wanted to purchase a cryotherapy package when I was leaving, but when I asked the front desk girl for more info, she just told me to look online for prices. I had to ask a few times before she showed me a price sheet -The lymph drainage machine is in the lobby. Literally 2 feet away from the front door. There's a small partition blocking you from seeing the receptionists, but you can see everyone walking in and they can see you. Its a little awkward. Also, 2 people were let in the establishment without wearing a mask -Their cryotherapy isnt a cryo-chamber but rather a cryo-sauna. Meaning you aren't allowed to submerge your whole body+head in there Ultimately I'm writing this review because it seems like the owners care about the place and invested a lot of money. But unwelcoming front desk receptionists dissuaded me from returning. Again, I know a lot of people don't care about this element and love the place regardless--it is a great place with great equipment. Come get your tonic 333 if you enjoy miscommunication and bad service. I tried to reschedule my appointment given I was exposed to monkey pox and covid. I let the manager know over the phone and he said he'd check if they can let me in. I never heard back. I know I notified them less than 24 hours before my appt but life happens in these times. I got to my appointment changed into my robe and they literally kicked me out saying I needed a Covid free test. I was like I wish u could have told me before. Amazing people and service and the boutique is gorgeous! It's a spa like vibe which alleviates stress as soon as you walk in the doors. The staff (Mocho and Lauren) are really kind and full of good vibes and energy. When I learned of a non-invasive procedure that could help eliminate fat cells, while also producing collagen, I thought "i GOTTA try this." I researched it to make sure Cryoskin was safe and effective and reached out to Tonic Wellness Boutique to learn about their services. Mocho was kind enough to thoroughly explain the procedure and was so gentle and calm as he answered ALL of my questions (Yes, I'm the annoying, ask 50-million questions if fearful and unsure about something) but he never got annoyed with any of my questions. Lauren was the practitioner I worked with and she was such a sweetheart throughout the process. She kindly introduced herself and politely explained the details of the infrared sauna and cryoskin treatment and how they compliment one another. After the sauna, I received the 30 minute cryoskin treatment and it felt like a therapeutic massage on my belly and because the 'massager wand' moves around on your skin, the cold doesn't feel too bad at all. This place is awesome! The prices are very fair allowing me to come often. I love the infrared sauna, the compression machine, and the lymphatic drain massage. The infrared saunas are a hit box that you sit inside, at first I was wishing I could just lay down and sleep through it but now I really love being able to rub oil into my skin while wearing a face mask. I also read while I'm in there so I'm not focused on the minutes as my body sweats and detoxes me into a state of calmness and relaxation. The compression machine is like a space pant suit that you lay into (not I get to sleep if I want) and once turned on it squeezes the lower half of my body inch by inch to help with circulation and cellulite treatment. I like it and I think it's working because I look and feel great. The lymphatic drain massage is also giving me great results. It's a different kind of massage meant to create movement and release so I kinda feel a little bit like a peace of meat getting tenderized but it's still relaxing and as soon as I get up and look on the mirror I can see a difference, especially in my stomach area where she really carves into and breaks up scar tissue I had build up after bad lipo. I've gone twice and can see greater smoothness in my med section. The masseuse (I forget her name but she's the only one) is really sweet too. She has strong hands and knows where to work you. Parking has always been a breeze with lots of metered parking out front. Customer service and booking is amazing. Everyone at the front desk are really sweet and helpful. This spa doesn't have full doors on all of their rooms which means you can hear a bit of conversation as people come and go but I don't mind it at all and find it's worth the price so I keep on coming back as I'm on a mission to transform my physique and state of mind. read more

Tonic Wellness Boutique is hands-down my favorite place in LA to relax and recharge!! As a total sauna junkie I know a good sauna when I experience one. The Clearlight saunas are the BEST because you can hangout in there for up to an hour. If you've ever sat inside an old-school gym sauna, you know you can last maybe 15 minutes before feeling like you're gonna pass out. Not the case with the saunas at Tonic, I actually feel energized when I get out. Of course Tonic isn't just about the saunas, the other services are incredible too. I've done the Cryoskin treatments multiple times (6 sessions so far) and WOW - it really does work. I did the treatment to tighten my tummy after being unable to workout for months due to an injury. I was skeptical going in, but I'm happy to report I'm able to rock crop tops again. Woo hoo! Another treatment I've done a few times is the "pressotherapy" ... its like getting the most epic detoxifying hug ever. The treatment is for lymphatic drainage, but I do it because it feels good :) The boutique is beautiful, and the staff is amazing. Definitely worth checking out. read more

LOVE this place for so many reasons: 1. CLEAN. I was truly impressed by what seemed like a brand new, super clean booth. 2. The staff is SO professional and super fast. 3. Absolutely love the color light therapy. I laid down in the booth, with my legs up the walls, and just stared at the LED color box. It was magical. 4. Temp. I love that it set at 155°, where as some other booths are set lower. 5. Availability. I called impromptu to see if they could fit me in, and they were able to fit me in immediately. 6. Lots of on street parking, metered for two hours. 7. This block is incredible! You can get Blue Bottle Coffee, Backyard Bowls, get a stretch at Stretch Lab, and pick up some CBD at The Green Easy all within one block! 8. Flexibility. While tonic isn't the largest, fanciest, or most 'wow' spa I've been to, it is the most convenient, chill, and reliable. Went here today for a dynamic (30 min) infrared session. The sauna itself was great and the decor and boutique was really nice. Where this place fell short was the facilities, bathroom and "shower" area. Both areas weren't particularly clean and the "shower" is neither private or clean. Today was my first visit since the pandemic. It was just even more charming and soothing as I remember. I like the infrared sauna the best. I do 30 mins! I've also done cryo twice now before my sauna session. I highly recommend it for inflammation and pain. It's not as scary as I thought and my body doesn't register the level of cold until it's nearly over. I did one minute and a half. Tonic Spa is a lovely, impeccable sanctuary for infrared sauna and the extensive treatments they offer. This review is specifically for Icoone Laser, a new treatment for lymphatic drainage and reducing cellulite !!! I bought a package for 10 sessions. After looking into and reading about it, I decided it would be worth a try. We took before and after pictures to check the progress. The device has different settings, so it can treat your problem area in a personal/specific way. The package also includes a half hour of infrared sauna following the treatment - which helps with it and is a nice bonus in any case! After the ten sessions I can say I definitely saw a significant improvement! It's about a 75- 80 % improvement - which is way more than I had hoped for! But not terribly surprised since I could physically feel the deep-tissue work it was doing. It's a machine but operated by an esthetician, in my case Lauren, who was very attentive and efficient. To maintain the results I've been doing cupping on the same areas and they recommend having the treatment once a month, afterwards. Personally, out of all the cellulite treatments out there - this is probably the best, safest and most aesthetic. My skin is smooth, even and tightened. So I would absolutely recommend it!!! read more

If you have not tried Infrared Saunas, you will learn all about them from MK, the overwhelmingly wonderful host. He will tell you that they Detox your body 7x more than a regular Sauna amongst other things. There are 5 private sauna rooms. Each perfectly set in a private room. The Boutique also has a cryo room. Many customers do both in one session. Tonic also has a life coach option that MK's wife has established. I cannot speak to this, but I'm sure she is positive as the space she has created with MK. Favorite spot, and now weekly ritual in my wellness kick. I always can find parking huge plus, it's so welcoming and never pretentious or intimidating, I love that no one is pushy on packages which can drain all of the joy from a sauna/wellness experience. It's calm quiet and has such a warm welcoming energy. I love heading here mid week, turning on a Tim Ferris pod cast and having 40 minutes to myself to sit in silence! It's the best time of my week and I truly look forward to my sauna sesh. I haven't noticed all of the effects yet; but I do notice a more restful sleep, and glowing skin the next day. I can't wait to be more consistent to really be able to channel the benefits of my sessions. These infrared saunas are fantastic - they're super clean, private, and peaceful. You can choose between 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions, and Tonic supplies free wifi access, unlimited bottled water, clean towels, and a robe. You can go solo, with a friend or significant other. I prefer going alone because the combination of heat with a smaller space makes me claustrophobic - which is why I haven't tried the cryotherapy yet, though the cryo chamber has the exposed head area so that might make it tolerable. I leave feeling mentally refreshed and clear, and physically relaxed and pliable.The owners are professional and helpful. The space is clean and inviting, and in a great location. Parking might be a little challenging at certain times, but you can plan accordingly. read more

As soon as you enter the ambience the vibes are so relaxing and you are greeted by the amazing founders who are so helpful and want to make your experience just as special every time you go. I love both the cryotherapy and the infrared sauna which I do every week and I just love to book them in as I know I come out feeling so revitalized and refreshed. The showering facility is great and stocked with great products to keep you feeling clean and fresh. I work in the fitness industry so the cryotherapy is great for repairing my muscles, 3 minutes in extremely cold temperatures can be quite daunting but it's made easy with Posseta (the founder) chatting away to distract you from the temperature... it definitely releases those happy endorphins!
