Sharing my overall experience how Med Spa ladies treated me so far…read more 100% true. Biased, discriminated, disrespectful. I've been a client at Celebrity Med Spa since 2022, but my experience has unfortunately been disappointing and frustrating. I initially trusted this place, but over time, I noticed a consistent lack of professionalism and a strong bias in favor of their staff often at the expense of customer care. On Women's Day, I was given the wrong package and double-charged. When I brought it to their attention, instead of acknowledging the mistake and offering an appropriate resolution, they offered me a $450 facial I didn't need. The staff was not properly trained, and my appointments were frequently canceled often at the last minute with no regard for my time or schedule. During calls to reschedule, I was repeatedly talked over and not allowed to express my concerns. One staff member continued speaking without letting me respond, and when I voiced that clients deserve to be heard, I was met with hostility. It became clear that they prioritized their team over their clients, which is concerning for any customer-focused business. When I mentioned that certain areas were left untreated during a session, the response I got was defensive "I have 20 years of experience, I know what I'm doing" instead of listening or addressing the issue. During a snowstorm, they canceled my 8:00 AM appointment with a message sent at 7:46 AM, focusing only on the safety of the staff and not even acknowledging the inconvenience to the customer. This was after I had already started driving in dangerous conditions. When I politely raised concerns about the consistent disregard and communication issues, I was told that I was the problem. The entire conversation shifted to defending staff behavior instead of addressing valid client concerns. I was essentially forced to end my service due to the lack of respect and understanding. It's disheartening to feel dismissed, talked over, and discriminated against. I also noticed a pattern where positive feedback is welcomed, but any complaint results in pushback or being made to feel unwelcome. They strongly encourage tipping and link discounts to gratuities, which feels more like pressure than appreciation. Sadly, I no longer feel comfortable returning to this spa. I hope they reflect on how they treat clients--especially those from diverse backgrounds and work on building a culture that values respectful, two-way communication. Biased, discriminated, disrespectful. For them only staff is important. They do not want their staff to fell uncomfortable. but they are totally happy to if the client is uncomfortable.

I've seen Kyla, Carla, and Holly, and they are so sweet and excellent at what they do. I also converse with Sneha who usually works the front desk and she's really sweet as well. I am so impressed with this place. The place is located in a great area with ample parking. The office is clean and well stocked with skincare and acne free makeup lines. Scheduling an appointment at the front desk is easy, flexible and quick to do, or you can go online. They have a good number of estheticians, so finding a time that works for you isn't a problem. All of the ladies working here are very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in their work. I've never felt rushed here. They are thorough with their extractions, explain what they put on your face to meet your skincare goals, and make you feel pampered. I just saw Carla and she went absolutely above and beyond for me today. She gave extra attention to the extraction phase, especially because my pregnancy acne is pretty deep along the jawline. She applied Vaseline on my chapped lips at the end of my facial and gave me a free sample of a lip scrub she loves. She always made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment, asking if I wanted a blanket, heat/no heat for the bed. I enjoyed talking to her and felt so comfortable and taken cared of. I thought she was going to reschedule my appointment due to inclement weather, but she was there and able to see me. My skin is still a work in progress, but I notice the improvement already. I have less breakouts and my skin looks well hydrated and healthy. Patience is key and I'm already happy with the progress. These ladies genuinely care for your skincare goals. They update your skincare routine at every appointment so you're never left in the dark with what to do for care at home. They also have an incredible response time when you contact them with a question. I highly recommend this business and these ladies. I hate to leave bad reviews, but I don't want someone else to have the experience I have had…read more I had a facial on 10/9. I explained to Houda that I have dry, sensitive skin and am on tretinoin, which further sensitizes skin. Certain ingredients don't mix well with tretinoin and if you're doing a peel, micro needling, etc you have to stop tret use for several days leading up to treatment. During my facial, she applied a salicylic acid mask that immediately burned my skin, to the point that my eyes were watering and it was unbearable to leave on longer than about a minute or two. By the time I got home, my skin was bright red, like a bad sunburn. By 10/11, my skin was peeling off in chunks. I emailed Houda and she replied some dryness and tightness is normal. I am now 4 days out and my entire face is still peeling in large pieces. If I was there for peel, that'd be ok, but I just went for a facial and had no intention of getting a peel and it was never discussed. Houda's response to my concerns has felt a bit dismissive and told me this is a normal reaction. If that's the case, I wish the communication had been better- I had no idea she was going to use a product that'd cause my face to peel intensely for days on end. After looking into the product used, it is not intended to cause peeling. It seems like this product shouldn't have been used on sensitive skin or on a client using tretinoin. The manufacturer of the product advised me to see a doctor regarding this reaction. Based on other reviews I know Houda can do great work, unfortunately I don't think this is a good option for people with sensitive skin looking for a facial.

Houda, the proprietor, zapped them in a matter of a few minutes and they are now completely gone. Houda also does tattoo removal - for people who lacked the good judgement not to get dolphins and Garfield that Cat tatted to their ankles back in the 80's. The salon is gorgeous and she works Tuesday - Saturday: 10 am - 6:30 pm and her prices are lower than other salons that I'd checked out. If you want to get rid of some cherry moles or ridiculous tattoos (that your mother warned you not to get), give her a call.
