Best place in Redding to have your eyebrows done! The staff are friendly, efficient, and listen to your requests. they also specialize in all other types of facial hair removal. The cotton thread they use is a really great for those who have sensitive skin, and it allows them to get the best shape when manicuring eyebrows. I have been coming here for 12+ years, and do not trust anyone else with my eyebrows. They also have a loyalty program where you can earn rewards and book appointments online to save yourself time. Super rude. I walked in just to see if they had time for me. I walked in and the lady immediately asked what she could help me with and I kindly asked if they took walk ins. She lets out a big sigh and in the most undermining tone tells me verbatim "this is what I'm going to do, I'm going to take my appointment now, (points to her client) and if my next appointment doesn't show up, then I can take you okay, that's what I can do for you" A simple no would have sufficed. Anu has been doing our eyebrows for years don't know what has happened but lately it's been ridiculous I took my teenager for the first time with her 2 years ago and she asked for her number I said no it's under my number she asked for her phone my daughter got confused I'm like she's not a adult I don't feel comfortable giving you her number she said new policy I want her number very pushy she did this last time witch I let it go I told her I'm sorry but no I don't want people or other companies ringing her number I was frustrated she kept pushing my daughter gave her number left very uncomfortable she didn't even do a good job all because she didn't want to use the coupon on my phone that I booked unbelievable I would've not care but don't ask for a minors number I won't go back so unprofessional needles to say I left angry knowing she got my daughter number in her computer now I have to block telemarketing phone numbers that's just not ok read more

I got my eyebrows done by Serena two days ago and it was a very painful experience. After she did my right eyebrow, I let her know it was very painful. There wasn't an apology from her but she proceeded to tell me it was painful because she doesn't do one hair at a time. She then did my left eyebrow and it was even more painful than the right eyebrow. The skin around my eyes and eyebrows was very sore afterwards. The next day all these red bumps showed up where part of my skin was threaded and came off on my eyelids and above my eyebrows. It is painful to the touch especially when washing my face at night. Two days later I'm still in pain plus I look like I got scratched. I had been getting my eyebrows done here for the past two years but after this was a horrible experience I won't be coming back. To top it off, Serena, gave me an attitude after I didn't tip her. I'm not sure how people like her are allowed to do people's eyebrows. read more

Im not writing a review because she asked to review her business, Im writing a review because they truly did a wonderful job. They immediately welcomed me in. I registered and and asked what services i needed. After l let her know, that my eyebrows were precious to me and I needed them in the certain way. She immediately let me know she understood and asked how the progress was throughout the the threading. Not only was everyone truly professional but they were polite. I will we'll be coming back as soon as I am in need of the service, even though I live about 45 minutes away. Its because of the way they treated & she did a beyond amazing job with my eyebrows. I was greatly impressed by the quickness and the employee/owner. I don't like my brows too thin, and she did it so they match. Quick, and almost painless. Pros: Quicker than plucking, no hot wax, cheaper than waxing ($10 for brows), whole appt took maybe 6 mins. Redness went away in 20 mins. Cleaner than wax or plucking. Cons: If you don't pluck or wax...(you have gnarly catapillars), be prepared for it to sting. They also do chins, sideburns, hairlines, upper lips, etc. I asked her and yes, she works on men too. Walk in and appts. Appts get seated first over walk-ins. read more

My eyebrows look good now that I have left, but the service was very impersonal. You could tell she had done this a million times, so it was almost as if a machine was doing my eyebrows. She also had her body rubbing against my head while she was working, leaving me with a crazy hairstyle when I left. That being said... They are fast and my eyebrows always look great. I also like that their hours are pretty late because I get off work at 630pm. Very friendly service. I don't like that it's in the mall, but that's probably not a problem for most people. I always look like hell when I get my eyebrows done and I don't really want to have to walk through the mall. Also everyone in the mall can see you while you are getting threaded. I don't like that. What if you have to get your upper lip done?? Which I do, or I look like a 48 year old Italian man. But I don't want the whole mall watching! But I still go there bc my eyebrows look so damn good! read more

I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and they gave me a coupon for my first and second visit. I usually wax, but the results of the threading were so much better that I will only thread my eyebrows (if it is available). The experience of threading was difficult for me because my nerves are sensitive around my eyes: I have not been able to often wear glasses because of this. At one point I think I almost reflex-punched the lady, but thankfully her thread broke at that moment and I was able to have a breather. My friend went with me and she didn't experience this same sensation; so it must have just been my odd nerves. The shaping that one can achieve with threading is so much better than any waxing that I highly recommend it to anyone who gives a rip about their face. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for the last 10 years and going to Beauty by Thread for the last two years. I always have a good experience, however today I went and got my eyebrows done by Serena. It was the most terrible experience I have ever had getting my eyebrows threaded. I have never felt more disrespected as a customer by a young girl. She was argumentative with me from the beginning. Inder had put a note in the computer to thread my eyebrows on the bottom and not much on the top so I was telling her about this note. She didn't want to do it so I had to ask her again. She continued to be argumentative about how I wanted my eyebrows done. At the end I asked her if I could give her some feedback and I let her know she was coming across harshly. She told me that I was "rude", she had been doing eyebrows for six years and she knew what she was doing. she had the worst attitude I have ever seen from someone supposedly providing a customer service experience. I have never been more disrespected or upset about an eyebrow threading experience. The manager and owner need to know they have an employee with a serious attitude problem that will deter customers and leave them very unhappy. read more

I take my daughter here to get her eyebrows done. She has really heavy eyebrows that needed shaping. I'm pleased with the results and will continue to bring her here. It can be a wait but they move you through quickly. I'm someone that likes to be able to drop in without appointments. I'm not nuts about how they shaped her eyebrows, they look a little angular but my daughter is happy and the threading lasts a long time. It's lot better than waxing! read more

Always go here to get my eyebrows done! They do such a nice job and the threading makes my brow so precise and even. I don't get any break outs from doing threading over waxing. Plus so cheap! I gave her my rewards card on the way out I was so disgusted. She was rude, abrasive and argumentative and passive aggressive.
