One of my favorite beauty supplies in north houston/spring area. They have a wide selection of natural hair products, weaves, lashes, and even clothes. They also have a rewards program you can sign up with your number. It's convenient place to come, but I don't always feel comfortable here. They have a police officer inside because people have sticky fingers. One of the employees always calls me sis too. It's a nice gesture, but I don't know that man like that... It's a cool place. I was on 1960 heading to another beauty supply store that I found on Yelp when I suddenly seen this one with a big "Grand Opening" sign. So glad I stopped in! The store looked big and attractive from the outside, and didnt dissapoint in the inside. They were stocked with everything, they don't stalk you, they attempted to up sell with class, prices are fair, and they have a easy-sign up rewards program for those interested. It only requiring a name and phone number to rack up points for discounts. They also have cosmetics and clothing so you can slay (as they say) from head to toe. I'll be coming back when I need something. Might even bring a friend. Aisles are clean and organized too. They also don't have photos of thieves on the door like many stores like this do unfortunately. Hope it stays that way. Happy shopping! read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. I'm pissed off. I was late to my appointment bc I thought I could just stop in and get what I needed. The more I requested help or service the dumber I got!! The older Asian guy behind the counter was completely dismissive, barely spoke English and was of no help. The more I tried to find what I needed the more frustrated I became. I won't return. The service used to be better. I advised him that he should hire people that actually know about HAIR if they are going to work in a beauty supply store. He eventually sent a lady over to me that had a absolutely NO CLUE AT ALL-- and didn't even speak English!! A complete waste of my damn time. I usually go to this store for our hair needs. We live further but will make the drive when needing a lot of products. The selection is vast and they have a rewards system. I usually spend a good amount each time I go in because they have close out sales that are great deals! My daughter loves picking out nice hair items from the girl section. The hair section is massive and the staff are friendly unlike some other stores. A college student works the counter so she will come out and help me from time to time. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service! Advertise that that they do wig installs, no appointment needed, yet when I walk in I wait 10+ minutes, and the girl there does not do wig installs I was told she'd be there by 12, came back AFTER 12& she's still not there, and no one seems to know the time she's coming in. Smdh. Not to mention I bought some gray contacts that did not change my eye color whatsoever, and of course they would not refund my money to get another type. So I guess they just expect me to BLINDLY keep purchasing contacts until I find the right one. Not gonna happen. SUPPORT BLACK BUSINESSES! I thought I had finally found my dream beauty supply store. They have everything. But I just received a slap in the face. I purchased a ponytail from them and when I got ready to wear it the next morning, there was a manufacturer's defect. The bottom comb was sown or stitched to the weave and it looked like it had already been worn. I took the ponytail back to the store. I was not rude and even had a smile on my face as I spoke to the so-called manager William. He refused to let me exchange the ponytail because he said it needed to be in the original condition in which it was purchased. It was! All I did was open the box. But after I showed him the defects he accused me of wearing the ponytail and would not let me exchange it. WTF??!! William was rude and told me I needed to come back on another day and speak with the other manager Felix. I most definitely will. Y'all messed with the wrong one. I do not like being called a liar. Horrible service from the male worker's behind the register. They used to be very pleasant and helpful. Now all they do is look at the gigantic flats tv's to see if you are stealing. Horrible service and this establishment does not respect licensed cosmetologist discounts. They do not give 10% off hair. They have a ton of options and so much stuff for good prices. some of this stuff i can never find at the beauty supplies nearest to my house. HOWEVER the guys that are at the register are so unprofessional and dont pay attention to the customer. I was there with my cousins last time and there were three guys at the front but only one was checking people out. they were all just talking. After waiting for about 10 minutes I went up to one of the guys and asked if I could pay and he said that the other guy could help us. I finally found a beauty supply store worth shopping at. They have a very large inventory of hair, hair products, styling tools, clothes, you name it they probably have it. Also the employees are super nice and very helpful. I'm always greeted when I walk in the store (which plays a big factor in whether or not I'll continue to shop there). They have an app that you can download and when you check in you can earn reward points based on how much money you spend. Overall it's a very good store. read more

Beware!!!!! Old products!! Didn't realize I needed to check for expiration dates on shampoo and conditioner but the 2 I bought were highly outdated and highly overpriced. Also bought a relaxer which was bad. My shreds when relaxed......hair came out in gobs!! I wouldn't recommend this store to my worst enemy. Never again!! I'm will watch for expired product from now on like they watch people who want to steal old products. Really disappointed. Traveling with my own stuff.
