This place is as good as it gets for repairs. I brought my pearls in late 2016 for restringing, and I was able to get about a year or so use before one came a little loose. I wear them quite frequently, so this didn't bother me too much. Because Dubin's doesn't have weekend hours and I switched jobs, I got other quotes that didn't at all compare to theirs. I messaged Jordan to ask if his rates were the same, and he stated that it should have lasted longer and offered a discount. They repaired my pearls in under one week for 50% off just because they stand by their work. I'm in actual awe. I will make it my business to use them for all necessary repairs and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them as well. My husband and I purchased my engagement ring and our wedding bands in Dec. 2012 and August 2013, respectively. When my husband was planning to propose, he wasn't sure where to start so my mother suggested Lenny as she has been his longtime acquaintance and had heard good things about his company in the past. Lenny's adult son Jordan is now working alongside him, and the two make a great pair. My husband already had the pear-shaped diamond that would become my ring's center stone, so he really only needed assistance building a setting and adding side stones to the band. A couple weeks before Christmas 2012, my husband and my mother made an appointment to meet with Lenny and Dubin. They talked my husband through the whole process and never pressured him to make a decision, and they even offered him a nice stiff drink to help ease his nerves. Though my husband spent relatively little (around $4K for the platinum setting +.65 ct/ea trilliant cut side stones) when compared with other engagement ring purchases, they treated him like they would their high-rolling clients. They were even able to have the ring completed a few days before Christmas, though they had initially estimated it would not be done until Jan. 2013 as they had limited holiday hours. We came back to Lenny and Jordan several months later to design our wedding bands. Again, nothing extremely fancy or extravagant - a simple but wide yellow gold band for my husband ($800) and a solid platinum band for me ($600). The process was easy and enjoyable, and we were happy to support a local business instead of a jewelry chain. We have each been back a couple of times to have our rings resized, and each time we are greeted with a smile.
