My sister has been coming here for years and loves it. The salon is clean and the staff is always friendly. They have multiple stations hair nails and men cut's. This place is clean and modern. I like its style and the services. Staffs are friendly and talented. They offer full service on hair and nails. This is exactly what I have been searching for a longest time since no one else can cut my hair the way I like it. My hair is hard to cut because one side the hair grows down, the other side the hair grows up. After Kimmi cut my hair, it looks perfectly blended. I don't even need to comb my hair. After showers, I just shook my head and hair just comes right into place and looks really nice. Amazing!!! But this salon is a step above the rest. Beauty Kutz is super cozy with modern decor. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great prices for mani's and pedi's! I called Beauty Kutz for a hair cut on December 23rd, 2014. Luckily they were able to fit me in at a very busy time of the year. Kimmie was fantastic! I told her how my hair has been dull and falling out, something that wasn't typical for me at all and after asking me a few questions about how I color my hair and the entire process that I do, she zeroed in on what I had been doing wrong and told me what to do and more importantly-what to STOP doing. It was clear that she knows her coloring and processing...So I asked her what she would do with my hair to make it look better now. She wanted to do an all over color to even it out and get the shine back in, and a deep conditioning, and given the great deal she was giving me for all of it-I decided to go for it, since I was so bummed out that my hair was looking so crappy. This was when she was washing my hair for the hair cut, and didn't bat an eye at having to cut it, dry it and then color it, and wash it again, and she would straighten it at the end, and I have very long hair. She did a lot of work! She did a FANTASTIC job!!! I can't say enough about how sweet and fun she was, easy to talk to, professional and very talented. My hair looked a hundred times better when I walked out of there compared to how it looked and felt when I walked in. I don't have the easiest hair to cut, but she did a great job, and the color looked so much better. I can't recommend Kimmie enough! I have super thick and long hair. I hadn't had a haircut in over one year and my hair was very har to manage at this point. I called Beauty Kutz and got a same day appointment. I didn't have to wait when I got there and Kimmy started on me right away. She gave me exactly the cut I was looking for, a nice oval shaped layer cut. I hardly ever trust anyone with my hair and I have to say I am so glad I gave it a shot and had Kimmy do my hair. She is top notch and a real professional. If you could see my hair you would know how impressive it is for someone to cut and style it. My hair is hard to manage and a big pain. I woke up this morning determined to get my haircut. My hair was literally making me upset every time I looked at it. So I was browsing yelp and googling places near by that would be affordable. I was tired of paying $50+ to get my hair done. Anyway, I found this salon. It's right next to a liquor store and a dog grooming place (I think that's what it is.) However, it really is a hidden gem. You go inside and it's very clean and has a calming atmosphere. I came in with no appointment but got my hair done as soon as Kimmie came in. She did an absolutely amazing job. She was really down to earth and listened to what I wanted, but gave great tips and suggestions. I have never had a stylist be so precise with the cut of my hair. I was so excited to have a salon in my neighborhood. Showed up at opening and nobody was there. Finally somebody showed up at 9 AM. I asked if they excepted walkins and was told yes. When I asked if I could get a haircut they then told me not this morning, The girl behind the counter then resumed putting on her make up. There was definitely no welcome feeling. I had taken my daughter to Kimmi a few times for a hair cut and was very pleased with the way she cut her hair. I was going through a rut with my hair and was tired of making the drive to Newport Beach and spending a ton of $$ for my haircut. I had been going to the same guy for about 7 years and had followed him to 4 different salons, but I decided to change things up. I am SO glad I did!! Kimmi is amazing! She pointed out the pros and cons, and made great recommendations, I have very wirey, mostly grey, long hair which I have worn either up in a clip or in a pony tail for a number of years and I was WAY over that, but very discouraged about my prospects for anything better, I was just hoping I could get something less frizzy and lifeless.
