I truly hate writing negative reviews for a business but this is one of those times where I feel like I needed to. My nails came out so bad I now have to go pay someone else to go fix them. She was talking to someone else while using the filing tool and wasn't even looking at what she was doing. I kept pulling away because I knew she was going to cut me which she did. My nails came out so much worse than when I came in and are all lumpy with bubbles in them. One is completely crooked and a whole different color. They aren't at all the shape they were originally and truly looks like a toddler did them. It cost me $45 which is more than I pay any where else for a fill but she was close by so I chose to go in anyways. Really would think twice before going here and really wish I would have had the courage to speak up at the end and have her redo them rather than pay for them. read more

I sent official request and haven't heard back. Besides she didn't show what materials she used or how sanitary the equipment was she used on me. DON'T GET PERMANENT MAKEUP DONE HERE!!! As you can see the artist did a terrible job! When I walked in it was in a run down side room which I doubt was a legal set up. After showing her photos of how I have permanent tattoo migration, which is caused from aggressive tattooing and using wrong sized needles, she could care less and blamed it on everything but herself when I have gotten my liquid tattoo done several times before and had no problems. Yes for gel here This is probably the closest nail salon to my house and yet my first time was yesterday. I made an appointment on another day but called back to see if I can come in that day. They were more than happy to fit me in. When I arrived, they gave me a lot of variety of colors to choose from. I went with a pale blue gel color and some silver glitter to do a gradient fade. The woman working on my nails was super careful and took her time. She seemed like she was experience and I really enjoyed her service. I liked that she took her time to also massage my hands. My gel nails turned out beautifully and I really like them. Gel nails are $25 here. I like that they didn't charge more for adding an ombré gradient glitter to my nail. While I was there, I had some time to chat with the owner. He said he was getting some chrome nail colors in a few weeks. He also said a new technique for nails with dipping powder was also coming soon. I want to come back and try those. The inside of this place is a good size. They have about three spa chairs and three nail salons. It looks like they also do hair here as well. Overall, its a good salon and can't wait to come back to try the new things they will have. read more

She was holding the sharp ass nail cuticle cutter hella close my fingers and lookin elsewhere. I'm paying you to do my damn nails, so do it. Then, she was cutting my thumb cuticle and she cut too hard and it was hurting me. I go to Tammy to get my lashes done and saw the renovations that were made to the nail salon so decided to give it a chance and I'm so happy I did. The owner, staff and Kevin were so friendly. Greeted me right away, brought me a bottle of water, helped me with the color selections and Kevin did an outstanding job on my nails. used to be a nail tech, so I was disappointed in how she polished my nails. - It's not close to the cuticle - there's bubbles from layers of polish -I asked for oval, but she did square round - I noticed her finger had touched my nail so it messed up the polish. I thought she would erase the whole thing, but she just added more polish and tried to cover it. It didn't cover up well.. I was just visiting LA, but I wouldn't recommend this place. If they can mess up a simple mani, then I wouldn't trust them to do anything else. read more

My mom went by herself and she said she felt so uncomfortable as they treated her like shit. Nobody greeted her or apologized. They offer you water bottle, hot herbal tea and pretzels at no extra charge. If I could leave negative stars I would!! My story with this place; a few months ago my friend and I went as first time customers for our nails. Mine turned out so badly I complained. First time ever! To be fair, the manager personally called me and made it right by giving me a free mani/pedi and it was decent so I went back a couple times because sometimes shit happens. Fast forward a few months. I went in for a nail fill and gel pedi. I had just gotten an ankle tattoo so asked if I could simply get a color change on my feet as I couldn't have whatever it is they put in the water on my tattoo as it was an 'open wound'. At first was told no problem but when I was seated I was told I needed a full pedi as I had gel, but she'd make sure to protect my tattoo. Ummmm, okay.... Stupid me! Long and VERY painful story short(er), I ended up with chemical burns on the bottom of my left foot, the side of my left big toe, the side of my left heel, and at bottom of my ankle tattoo! The chemical burn on the bottom of my foot became infected and I had to receive medical treatment. After antibiotics it took 3 weeks to heal. My tattoo is now scarred. I called to let them know. I told her I didn't want anything and would definitely not be back but the techs needed to be aware and be more careful. The lady that answered the phone first told me it was impossible to get a chemical burn from a pedi (it's not), then told me she had no idea what I was talking about, and ultimately hung up on me! I could have sued. Maybe I should have, but since I (thankfully) recovered I chose not to. BUT, I do want people to know and beware of this so called salon and their lack of concern for their customers. If you value your safety, STAY FAR AWAY!! read more

I have gotten a Brazilian blowout by Ivy twice!!! I loved it both times and will continue going back to her. She is very friendly, funny and leaves my hair looking beautiful! When I first got it done with her I was a little worried because the Brazilian blowout requires a lot of time and I have gotten it done at two other salons one where they did an amazing job and another where it was poofy literally the next day. She really takes her time to do it correctly!!Even though I have only done my hair with her if I was interested in the other things she does at her salon I'd definitely try it, she definitely knows what she is doing! After speaking about an appointment, she said it would be a little extra because I had thick hair, which is fine because I have heard that other places. But then when I mentioned the Groupon priced she said "Oh no that's too little we cannot do that," and became very defensive when I said it was HER groupon. She even had the audacity to tell me I should call groupon and tell them it is incorrect, to which I pointed out that if it was incorrect she needed to call groupon, not me. Luckily I was calling to make an appointment before buying so I did not waste my money. I definitely got the impression that they just had the groupon up so people would buy it and come in so she could then charge them more and say it was incorrect. It is really a shame that I have to give this place 1 star because Ivy actually does a great job with her hair cuts. I have been taking my daughter here for about a year and a half and we both really like the cuts that she gets. The last time we were in, I had an appointment and had to wait quite awhile, but I let is slide. Not so much today.... We arrived 5 minutes early for our 12:00 appointment. Nobody said "hello"; we just got a blank stare from the older lady. After a few moments I caught her eye and said, "we have a 12 o'clock appointment for a haircut." Ivy was in the middle of giving a haircut. After about 20 minutes the older lady came to get us to wash my daughter's hair which I thought was strange because she usually flat irons her hair and then dry cuts it. I tried to say something, but the lady just looked at me and continued to wash my daughter's hair. And then we continued to sit and wait for another 15 minutes. We couldn't wait any longer. We had a birthday party to get to at 1:00. I scheduled this appointment for 12:00 with this schedule in mind. So we left at 12:35, my daughter with wet, uncombed hair. No apologies, no effort to stop us to try to reschedule. Just the same blank stares we received when we walked in. Needless to say, we won't be back....ever. The quality of haircuts that we have received in the past have been worthy of 5 stars, for sure. However the lack of customer service doesn't make up for that and has turned this customer away forever. A simple smile and "hello, welcome" or "how can I help you?" goes a long way with me. Too bad... :( P.S. We had to rush back home and do my daughter's hair....and now she is late to her party!! read more
