Very bad. Knicked me 5 times and drew blood each time during my mani/pedi appointment before taking a CHUNK out of the side of my ring finger causing me to scream and pull my hand away. Bleeding like crazy. He saturated a cotton ball with some green stuff and rubbed it on my cut which Stung like crazy. Almost in tears! Nail polish wouldn't cover well. It was very streaky. He put thinner or something in the bottle two different times during my appointment so it would cover. Finished my appt. at 4 pm on Saturday. Had a few errands to run before going home. When I woke up the next morning, I had 3 chipped nails. I did nothing to have them chipped!!! Went to a graduation party Sunday and pretty much only socialized. Nothing strenuous on my nails or polish. When I went to leave, I had 7 of my nails with chips at the tips. The skin around my nails is jagged and not clean. He pushed the cuticle pusher under my skin and as far back as it would go. Not pleasant at all. I have been getting manicures for years. This is the worst place to go for a manicure. I have been before and the service was terrible. I was in a pinch and went Saturday. Terrible decision. On only my second visit, but most certainly my last, extremely dissatisfied!! I had made an appointment and showed up on time. Interestingly enough, I was double booked so therefore, a woman was waiting for her pedicure to begin at the same time that mine was scheduled for. My feet were not allowed to soak before the technician used an aggressive tool to push back cuticles that were not yet softened, ouch! She missed the callous on the outside of my great toe, however, she did remove a strip of skin raw around the callous. I have never seen such a sloppy application of polish!!!!! When I complained, she tried to remove some of the polish from the skin around my nails, but didn't bother to fill in the unpolished areas on the nails. I have contacted the owner several times and have asked for a partial refund . . . but she told me that they were just really busy at the time, so no other "fix" was offered to compensate! My girlfriend and I attended the establishment upon a sunny but cold day in mid January 2018. At exactly 2:27 we walked though the door and asked for an acrylic fill. The woman behind the counter said "please come back in an hour" so we did. When we came back at 3:27 she was helping someone else and there was another woman waiting. The other woman was helped first and we waited. At 4:00 and she was helped but like come on. The only saving grace is that they were playing law and order on the tv in the back. However, the actual pedicure wasn't fantastic. I felt like the man who was doing it was rushing it. My feet didn't even feel that smooth when it was done and the paint job doesn't look professional. Even though all of the staff was busy (it was a Saturday afternoon), I didn't have to wait very long to be helped. I didn't catch the name of the man that gave me a pedicure, but he was very friendly and talkative, and did a good job on my nails. The place looked clean and the prices were quite reasonable - $25 for a pedicure, $12 for a manicure, $35 for both. If I lived in the area, I would definitely come here again. read more

Acrylic Nails, full to consistent fill. - Experience greatly differs depending on the technician. While most all the employees are competent, there are those who tend to take more care with their work than others. I've had fills where the tech was watching TV and rolled the motorized file over my finger and cut me... but I've also had a tech who took her time and did things perfectly. (I usually ask for her when I set an appointment now). Also, the woman, who I assume is the owner, is very quick, with a little less care, but perfectly acceptable. One tech had a very low understanding of English and it made it impossible for me to explain what I wanted to her, unfortunately, even using typical nail terms. Making an appointment and requesting a tech is a must, to be sure of consistency and quality that you're looking for. It always feels like a lottery unless I make an appointment where I may be unhappy with my nails for the next two weeks if I don't set up something ahead of time. I would avoid if you expect very high quality, this isn't a fancy high-class salon, it's a hole in the wall, at the basic guidelines of service and cleanliness, family runned sort of place. I find it acceptable because I like the price, but others may not if they are looking for a more salon or spa type experience. read more

this place is just trash as a whole. i went in for a full set before going in vacation knowing i was going to get them soaked off not even 2 weeks later since i can't have them for work, they handed me gel colors when i had never even mentioned gel once when i told her i didn't want gel she replied "why only $5 more?" um.. because i don't want to pay extra for something i don't need? so then i thought everything was fine until i asked for them a little long which wasn't a problem until a man not doing anything came over and said something in their language which somehow jumped my price up another $5 once their conversation was over which i found a little odd i've never heard of nails being long costing extra money. so, as i said i have to get them soaked off not even 2 weeks later. after 1 week i lost a nail on my suitcase which is understandably not their fault, but about 2 days later another nail out of nowhere lifted from my nail bud and it is now 3;30am and i just woke up to the feeling of a nail broken if half stabbing me in the side... so no i won't be recommending beauty nails to anybody that i like read more

Made an appt for a gel full set. I am a full time stylist at a salon in VT, and I would say I specialize in nails. I am aware of the laws and procedures around nails services, and when I requested a buffer be used instead of an electric rotary buffer, she used the electric (NOTE: You are allowed to make such requests, like new implements to witness they are new, or not to use an electric drill as it can be dangerous for the structure of your nail bed. The service can be done just as effectively with a buffer).. My cuticles were not pushed back. She didn't ask if I preferred round over square or even squoval. End result is thick and lumpy and the sidewalls of my nails I had to fix when I got home. I was also charged $8 more for some polka dots that she said she wasn't sure she could do. Facility/station was reusing wipes from previous services for brushes and seems to lack basic laws of cleanliness. State board would not have been okay with that. $60 later, I'm not impressed. I'll go down the street to Helen's next time. read more

This place is very rough and very poor quality. The girl filed my nails down shorter than they have ever been and the gel has already chipped on the second day. It felt like the exfoliation was insufficient....my feet were still rough when she was finished. I really like the color I choose for my toes & she seemed to do okay with the application. I went here to get my nails done for my wedding (pedi and gel mani). The pedicure was fine, but the gel manicure was the worst I have ever gotten. My fingers started chiping only two days later which they never do when I get gel nailpolish. The woman wasn't the friendliest which I would have been okay with if she did a good job, but she didn't. I noticed once I left that she hadn't even filed my fingernails (just clipped them, which is prob. why they started breaking only 2 days later) but I was on too tight of a schedule to go back in and make her do them over again. $60 later (not including tip), I was NOT impressed. My wife thought getting a manni-peddi for her and our 13 yo daughter would be a fun girls day out. When they came home they said it was absolutely terrible. My daughter was totally blase about the experience and 10 minutes after getting there just wanted to leave. My wife was appalled. I went in to get my acrylic tips taken off, which I knew they specialized in because it was on their service board. Instead of soaking my fingers in acetone to soften the enamel (Like every other nail salon I have been to has done) she just began prying the tips off with a file. I told her to stop because she was hurting me and she completely ignored me. I finally pulled my hand away when she ripped half my middle fingernail OFF and looked at me as if I had done something wrong when it began bleeding.
