DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE! I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at this salon. I visited for the first time last Thursday, but by the following day, the gel began to separate from my nails. When I returned on Saturday to address this, the technician made me wait 30 minutes before telling me it was my fault for not requesting a new set. As the professional, I expected her to provide the correct recommendation during my initial appointment. Instead of fixing the issue, she simply filed my natural nails. Since then, one nail broke on Sunday and another on Monday. I am very disappointed that I paid a significant amount for such poor quality and service. I've been going to Beauty Nails for about 7-8 years. My family often gives me their gift cards for my birthday and Mother's Day, so I've been an occasional customer (I only get my nails done 2-3 times a year). This past week was my birthday, and my family gave me another gift card. I went in this morning without an appointment. After waiting about 30 minutes for a foot soak, a male technician who introduced himself as the manager started my pedicure. I asked for the basic service. While cleaning the dead skin on my toes, he accidentally cut my skin. It didn't bleed, but it was clearly cut, red, and painful. I immediately stopped him and asked for alcohol to disinfect the wound. He said they didn't have any and instead pulled out a cheap-looking plastic bottle with some unknown blue liquid, claiming it could disinfect. I was skeptical. He then insisted that he was a licensed professional and the manager of the salon. Out of curiosity, I asked to see his nail technician license. He showed me a photocopy from the front desk. At that point, I politely asked to switch to another technician. Although he looked unhappy, he agreed. However, while I waited, he stood in front of me with a very defensive and rude attitude. He repeatedly emphasized that he was a licensed professional and the manager, and kept saying things like "Go ahead and sue me" multiple times. I told him that cutting my skin is not acceptable even if he's licensed. His response was basically "It didn't even bleed," making it sound like I was overreacting. Thankfully, another Vietnamese technician took over. Her technique was noticeably much more skilled and professional. I had cat-eye gel on both hands and feet, which cost $100. I gave the lady who finished the service a $30 tip. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be returning to Beauty Nails. I will also let my family know not to buy any more gift cards from this salon. Poor customer service and unprofessional behavior from the manager completely ruined what should have been a relaxing treat. read more

Came to beauty nails on a Friday! They were pretty busy and I waited about 20 minutes to get serviced, only because I was a walk in, so I completely understood the situation & was patient. So my best recommendation is to make an appointment! But overall, happy that they took me in on a Friday evening! The location has great parking. The space is cute & clean. I got a gel pedicure done & a fresh set of dip powder nails. Services were good! I was satisfied with my nails and pedi. I did accidentally chip one of my nails and had to come in for a fix up. Well the initial work is beautiful but I ended up with nail fungus on two nails so far. I know the fungus is from original set and not from last fill. From the photo you can see that the fungus is high up on the nail. Yea it will grow out but just dissatisfying they don't use clean equipment. I wish I could give a zero! I've been going here for awhile and all the experiences have been awful. It's a convenient location for me but I refuse to ever do back! Hannah is so rude to me and to customers unless she knows them well other wise she will straight yell at them. Usually she stays on the phone and half ass does your nails. Loan used to give a real good pedicure but not anymore today she kept cutting me and even though she saw my re track my foot due to pain, She kept going with no apology even though she made me bleed. BRING CASH IF YOU PLAN ON COMING IN TO AVOID THIS EXPERIENCE: As a customer who has been frequenting this salon since 2019, I am sincerely disappointed in how the owner, Vu Huy/Hannah, handled a transactional error. She treated me as a nuisance or inconvenience when I was, in fact, the one being inconvenienced. Hannah also has yet to take accountability and apologize for their error and inconvenience. In fact, she has instead called my personal phone to ask me to send her a photo of the statement I presented her to call her bank and verify who knows what when the fact of the matter is: I paid for my services day of in cash and was wrongfully charged for $150. For context, I received a gel manicure amounting to $30 and attempted to pay with a physical card; the woman who did my nails swiped my card 5 times before telling me that their terminal was not working and asked if I had another form of payment. I did not, so I withdrew money from the ATM, paid the tech, and was assured none of the previous transactions on my card had been processed, and I gave the cash. Fast forward a few days, and the five (5) transactions were posted on my banking app amounting to $150. Naturally, I returned to the shop, and before I could ask for a refund, the owner let me know she had refunded me $90 that morning. I told her (and showed digital proof on my banking app) that I had been charged five times for $150 and was still missing $60. She then went on a crazy tangent, telling me to wait for 72 hours for the $90 to be refunded into my account and come back then (WITH BANK STATEMENTS) if there were still issues. As a 20-year-old full-time student who works very hard for their money, I left seeing red. What do you mean come back if the issues still persist? That's why I came in in the first place... What do you mean you only have 2 or 3 transactions on your end for $90 when I have (and have demonstrated) digital and physical proof of these transactions as well as a record of me withdrawing money from their atm in store to withdraw cash? It was extremely frustrating for me as I could use that for gas, lunch for a week, 2-3 nice dinners, and textbooks for next quarter!!! With all that said, I did end up jumping through hoops and getting physical proof of the transactions to receive a refund-- but not without being met with resistance beforehand and still being told to wait or offered a gift card. You're probably wondering why I gave 2 stars. Well, as I said, I have been frequenting since 2019, and although I have also received subpar service from Hannah and others (unless I get gel), I did find a tech who was extremely kind, patient, did not rush her work, and made sure I was comfortable. Specializing in Stiletto and Coffin sets -- Loan will have you looking your very best. No lifting, no lumps, no uneven nails. I'm very particular with how my nails look and she's top notch! Most recently, I asked for a clean jade set. Although it was Loan's first time, she nailed it! Furthermore, I use my hands for my own jewelry brand modeling and there's not one time I had unkempt nails. Loan won't let me leave unless they're perfect. If Loan is gone, Jenny does my nails. The was a terrible experience. Hannah ( I think she's the owner) is extremely rude and aggressive. While the manicure/pedicure is supposed to be a " let's get clean and relax" experience, it was nothing like it but pain!! I've left the place with multiple cuts on my fingers and cubicles.
