This place is great I've been here twice already on Sunday mornings and the took my party of 3 two adults and one child. Mani pedis for all of us. So accommodating , Nancy and Helen are great ! Helen does so great with acrylics they last forever and her special made colors are beautiful! Mostly all good. I've been coming here since the previous owner was the boss lady, so maybe six years or so? The older lady, who I think is the owner, is extremely rough when she uses the nail brush and exfoliating bar. So much so that I got an open wound on my toe from her doing it. Sloppy service. Always in some sort of a hurry to finish. My dip powder nails were messed up three times in a row and I am told by the owner I did something wrong. Either didn't place the fingers properly under the light or didn't hold my fingers stiff enough for the powder to latch on. One time she spilled a ton of oil used for massage on my jacket and blamed me for not rolling my sleeves up higher. I went back even after that incident because mistakes happen but I cannot take poor service. Not going back again. read more

I've been here three times now for a gel manicure + spa pedicure and Yelp's description of 4/5 stars is exactly how I would describe Color Me Nail - "good." This isn't a super fancy nail salon but they get the job done. My gel manicure lasts a good amount of time, they take time and care into the arm massages and leg massages. Don't do it! Unsanitary conditions, rude, & no care in the world for the customer. There is no airflow in this place. You can smell all the chemicals as you walk in the door. I give them one star for leaving the door open when I asked them to. My nail technician was so rough, she cut my skin, and as it started to bleed, I told her, "Hey it's bleeding."--- to which she said, "Oh that's normal." I should have gotten out of that chair right then and there. The nail polish was old, didn't come on smooth, when I asked her about it, she said when it dries, it will be shiny. While I was there, I saw the same nail technician take the tools she used on me, walked right over, to the next person, without even washing them. I got out of there right away. She helped me with painful grown into skin nail on my toe, got rid off callous, did an amazing wax wrap and spoiled me with a relaxing massage! So I thought I would try this place since my nail lady had no openings I read the reviews on Helen and everybody had go reviews so I thought I would try. So I got there and had a appointment at 6 I had to wait 15mins which is ok.. then as I sat down she started to do my nails and she took out her acrylics and a cockroach flew out on me as soon as she took them out! At that point I should have left but I brushed it off. So I wanted a specific design and when she was done I got the complete opposite the lines were not straight the color was incorrect and the acrylic didn't even cover my whole nail. I was so disappointed I paid 47$ I was so upset I ended up taking my nails off the next day. I would Never come here again!!!!!! What originally was my "emergency" stop has now turned into my regular nail place! I usually get gel nails ($25) and a fill (+$7) and and I have tried their Regular Pedicure ($20), Spa Pedicure ($25), and Deluxe Pedicure ($30). The Spa Pedicures include the hot stone massage, and that is the BEST. The Deluxe Pedicure is perfect for a nice treat-yourself-day, and the paraffin treatment deeply softened my skin which is why I would recommend getting it. It's been a while since I came here. It's been a while since I got my nails done, or was able to do so. Helen was standing outside as I arrived, and was ultimately the person who helped me. She was not much for talking, but she was focused on her work. And to be honest, it was astonishing. I loved watching her work. When I spoke she obviously spoke back, she was definitely not "anti-social" she was just an artist who did and seemed to enjoy her work. DO NOT GO HERE. I'm sad because I used to come here a lot but today was really upsetting for me. All I wanted was black almond shaped nails with a silver accent nail. That's all. But I didn't really get that. My pedicure was great. I had no problems with it. But my acrylic set is horrendous. To make my nails skinnier she was filling the living hell out of them on the sides. To the point where I was pulling away and flinching. When I did this, she would just grab my hand again and continue digging in as she filed. After all of this my nails were different sizes and shapes, but I figured that would be fixed in the final filing stages. But no. That's when she slapped the color on. Maybe it's due to the fact that 5 walk-ins came in during my session, but I definitely feel like I was rushed. She finished up with my nails and the first thing she said to me was, "ok you can go now". Mind you, she said this as I'm checking out my nails. And it's at this point that I realize that my the sides of my nails aren't painted and the filing didn't match up to my natural nail shape. As nicely as I could, I pointed out my issues, saying that it make my nail look to tiny on my finger and I didn't like that the nail was showing on the side. I didn't even mention the fact that she filed it down to much and made my nail bed look weird. But to my surprise she didn't offer to fix or change anything. "It make your finger look skinnier" she told me. Didn't know I had fat fingers... But ok. I nicely told her that I didn't really like it and she said"that's how the shape is supposed to be. At this point I feel all of the eyes in the shop on me. Her workers and all the customers are looking at me. She repeats that this is how it's supposed to look and yells OK?! And I'm really bad with confrontation, especially when in front of a crowd. So I looked down at the ground and said ok. Almost like a child being scolded. And she walked off saying "Good". I sat and waited there for my nails to dry add she spoke to her workers in Vietnamese. And I'm sure she wasn't saying anything nice because they kept giggling and looking over at me. But when I would make eye contact with me they would smile. I felt so embarrassed. I walked out crying after begrudgingly handing over my payment. I will NEVER go here again. read more

I called in and asked for a Jenny(someone refereed me for nail design) and when I got there Helen said there was no Jenny and she was the only one who did design..... Worst job ever. She doesn't know design. A 5 yr old could have done my nails. On top of that it was the most painful experience. She cut me numerous times. There is a huge cut along my pinky. Never have had this happen to me this bad. She is careless and super fast. No detailing or accuracy for design or your comfort. It was like I was an ex bf who cheated on her or something. Asking her for a flower design was an insult... I remained calm and polite. When she was asking me if I had a problem I could sense she was trying to pick a fight with me. I am the calm one here lady. Do you have a problem? You are going to war with my nails right now! And don't think it was an accident when she cut me lol oh no she was intentionally hurting me and didn't give a f***. This lady is good at hating her life and making you pay for it by getting your nails done by her. Attitude negative customer service negative. I had the pleasure of having Tina give me my pedicure today. She's AMAZING! Such a sweet lady who clearly loves what she does. I came in without an appointment, but luckily, they were able to take care of me right away. I was offered a bottle of water and some fresh cherries. They had an extensive collection of OPI and Essie polishes. Oh...and they offer each client their own nail tool set. You don't have to share! But even without the extras, I would come back. Tina spent time to make sure that my feet looked great. She gave a great foot massage and used hot stones. I was given a foot scrub, too. I told her it was my first time here and she offered me a free design. She did it all with a smile on her face. Come only if you have time for it...I spent about two (relaxing) hours here. All I can say is WOW! Wow at being given a bottle of water, some fresh cherries, and 5 star treatment right from the start! Super clean and new, tons of opi colors and awesome designs they can do to pretty up your nails. Talk about good hygiene! You're given your own set of tools that they'll use only on you and when you come back, it'll be there waiting for you! One of the best pedis I've experienced! My feet were worked on for atleast an hour! Loved the sugar scrub, massage and even the hot stones (nice touch!) Thanks Tina! As many others have said - the place has steadily gone downhill. My last 2 experiences with them were very mediocre, things were rushed, the technician - rough, and the end result only okay. They've never really been able to do any of the designs I've asked for, but at least before, how nice they were was a huge, huge plus. I was going to make an appointment a few weeks ago, called them up, they said they had time the next day, I said great, and then asked whether they could file and paint my 5 year old's nails, as I wanted to bring her in for a special treat. The woman on the other end of the line rudely replied 'No, we don't have time for that.' I was really astounded. Really? How long does it take to paint a 5 year old's nails? And filing takes even less time. I was making an appointment, after all.. You know why they denied my request? After a few years of gel nails, Helen recommended dip nails & I just love it. In my opinion it makes all your nails "polish" even better than gel nails. It also strengthens all my nails by not adding thickness like gel. read more
