I love this place! I will be making this my regular salon after receiving a fill and regular pedicure, all in an hour and 20 minutes. The fill was great, she was so fast and still did an amazing, clean job. I love the shape she gave me and she made sure the acrylic wasn't too thick. The pedicure was WONDERFUL. FYI, the basic ($20) pedi doesn't come with a massage, so I went with the regular ($25) and Wendy gave me one of the best massages I've had. Not too hard, and she used different techniques that focused on relieving your pressure points. Only $50 for both which is what I've paid for EACH at some places. They're also very kind, not too chatty which apparently some people mistake for being rude, but they're very nice ladies. 11/10 would recommend, but definitely make an appointment because it's a little small. read more

Last week, my girlfriend and I went for pedicures and massages. Her favorite Sunnyvale pedicure place is Serenity nail studio. I usually like the work they do there, too. I got my toenails painted a nice wine red for fall. I chose the pedicure deluxe and while it looks nice, i have two complaints. First, my big toes are not shaped in the same way, which bugs me every time I look down. Second, when she got to the part where she scrubs my feet, I smiled and told her that that was my favorite part. Unfortunately, she still literally scrubbed each foot for less than 30 seconds. I've never had such a short scrub time in over 20 years of pedicures. Because of those two issues, I may visit Serenity again but won't use that young girl again. Might see ya there. read more

I went there for a basic pedicure & manicure. The place was dusty and did not have a lot of air circulation. Old furnitures nothing fancy. But the pricing was NOT cheap. Service could have been better and friendlier. I felt like they were rushing to it done. And YES, I GOT CUT on my ring finger on the cuticles and it was BLEEDING. She just simply said 'sorry'. What can I do ? It was my first time got cut at a random questionable nail salon. I was not sure if they CLEANED the equipment they use on my after cut my finger bleeding, I did not see they clean it. I DO NOT believe this nail salon SANITIZE their equipment as proper as they should. Great place to get your nails done. Clean, friendly workers and a wide selection of Opi polish although I did notice that there were a few that were running low. The girls do a good job with pedicures. The deluxe pedi with the paraffin wax is nice at $25. The paraffin wax is a bit too hot for me but it does feel good after. Tips- They take credit cards too however it's cash only for tips. The place is also a little difficult to find. There's a parking lot with a sign on the building so you know where it's at. Hmm. Apparently I had a rare experience here, and not of the good kind. My actual time in the salon was great. The end result...not so much. I chose this salon because of the fantastic reviews. I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and no one was there so I thought great! Plenty of time for them to give me a great mani pedi. I did not have an appointment but their site said they welcomed walk ins so I didn't think it would be a problem. However, the main lady who did my manicure told me several times that she prefers that people make appointments. I hear ya - its easier if you know who is coming and what to expect. But if you don't want people to walk in, then don't accept walk ins. Tell them its by appointment only. I would not mind calling in in advance if thats what you asked, but you cant expect your customers to read your mind. My second complaint is the color selection. They had a ton of regular nail polish, so picking a shade for my toes was a breeze. Their shellac polish selection on the other hand was not good at all. They probably had maybe 15 shades and none in the color I was looking for. I ended up settling for something I didn't really want but that was the best choice. The pedicure was great. The chair was comfy, the massage divine, and the Polish turned out awesome. Kudos for that. My nails turned our less desirable then I hoped. I asked the lady to trim my nails and make sure they were all the same length. When she was done, several of my nails were filed as far as they could go. Way too short and not even at all. Next comes my cuticles. I admit, I am the poster child for bad cuticles and dry skin. In the winter months, its even worse. So, I told her that I need some cuticle care to clean them up and apologized for how awful they were. She responded with "These are so dry, I have to be really careful and you need to take better care of them". Yes, I know. Thanks for reminding me. Despite the 20+ minutes she spent clipping my cuticles, I left the salon with them looking even worse. There was still some serious cuticle damage that needed repair that she either didn't see or ignored. Lastly, my shellac job. It was completely uneven and some of it had been drawn onto my skin. She had a brush and polish remover, but she didn't use them to clean up her mistakes. All this aside, these ladies were so nice. Their customer service is top notch, but their delivery is just not good. I question how so many people had such great experiences. Maybe I just got the short end of the stick. Both of them were extremely busy that day. They had back to back appointments after my walk in and they denied several people who walked in for help. I understand that when you are busy, it can be hard to concentrate. But I would much rather they had either told me come back later or taken longer. I don't mind waiting or you taking your time if it means that I am going to be satisfied. Overall, I paid $50 and ended up leaving extremely disappointed. I might come back here if I need a pedicure, but I would much rather go to Beauty Fusion around the corner for my nail needs. read more

I decided on a Saturday morning that I wanted to get a pedicure. After seeing all the reviews regarding the reasonable prices, I gave the salon a call and asked if I could come in in a half hour. They told me to come on in! When I arrived and saw the prices, I was very pleasantly surprised. Sure, it's not a really fancy nail salon, but sometimes you don't want to deal with that and just want a decent pedicure. The interior definitely seemed a bit outdated, but nothing questionable. I got the Deluxe Pedicure (only $5 extra) but it also included a scrub, paraffin wax, and hot stone massage. It was all great, especially the paraffin wax, but I do wish they massaged my foot a little longer. As for the pedicure itself, I was happy with it and will definitely be returning. The reviews about the parking lot are true, it is absolutely tiny. However, there is a bigger lot behind it. I would head caution to visiting on a Saturday morning, because you will have to fight for parking amongst the others attending the Sunnyvale Farmer's Market. read more

While I still only understand one quarter of everything they say to me and the friendliness is hit or miss depending on who does your nails, there's just no arguing with the outstanding quality of the shellac finger nails they do and the pedicures I get here. She also left a big section of nail undone on one of my friends nails and didn't tell her the type of nails she was getting cost extra. I love this place. Run by two sisters with their lovely staff. Friendly, cheerful and they stand behind their work. I've always bitten my fingernails, ugly habit, and at my old salon they never offered a solution when I wanted to grow them out and make them stronger. Tiffani, one of the owners, suggested I keep them short until they got stronger. I had a rip in one of them and went in to get it repaired. I'm almost at normal nails now and pretty happy with her advice. I had a pedicure today in preparation for a wedding next week and Tracy did an awesome job and added a bit of fun to the polish by drawing the cutest flowers. Definitely a no. Let me share my experience: I was a walk in (no appointment)..about 10:10am on Sunday. I told the lady I wanted gel nails...she barely looked at me and said...you have to come back later this afternoon -we don't have time to do that right now. I looked around and there were two other techs and two customers being serviced. No one was waiting. So I left. As I walked around the corner to my apartment I decided to call...it's like 10:15 now. The lady answers the phone and basically tells me I can come in anytime after 10:45. I make an appointment at 10:45...wow. So I'm not sure why the lady at the front would: 1. Turn away a paying customer (aren't you in the business of making money??) 2. Not inform me that I could wait 30 min or so for an appointment This place does not care about the primary purpose of a business- which is to increase their bottom line...make money. Nor do they seem to care about building relationships with paying customers - I mean nail shops come a dime a dozen. I can literally walk around the corner and go to another. Why wouldn't you want business? I was not rude to the lady and even upon her telling me "she didn't have time for that" I said thank you. When I called to cancel, I said: "Hello I have a 10:45 appt that I would like to cancel" She responded: "okay that's fine, bye" I sincerely hope this is a legit business and not a front for other activity. I read a few other negative reviews on yelp and their experience is eerily similar to mine. I just wonder how many others don't have yelp and didn't communicate their negative experience? The owner seems to want to bully the people with negative reviews... So bummed... my friend and I had an appointment the other day at 730pm. I did realize they closed at 8, I had called to make the appointment, we both wanted toe color change and a gel manicure. There were already 2 girls getting manicures and 2 girls finishing up pedicures. I remembered my review and was wondering why they still accepted us. They did but it came at a cost of rudeness from the owner or her sister, I'm not sure which was there since it had been so long since I had been there. She starts to do my toes, she takes off my nail polish and starts filing, I stop her and say can you please cut them? She says that's an extra 3.00. Okay so your pedicure is 20.00 but for the paint color change + nail cut, that's 10.00 right there!!! They charge 5.00 for the french tip still, so already I'm at 15.00. At that point I'm not saving this much. At Vivans nails in Campbell they charge 8.00 FLAT for a color change. I pulled away and said no I'm not paying 3.00 for you to cut my nails I can do that in 3 seconds, that's ridiculous. The owner or her sister not sure which it was, got up with out saying anything, gave me the rudest look and started speaking in Vietnamese angrily. I felt uncomfortable and awkward and so I let my friend finish her mani/pedi and I left. It's really unfortunate that all the things I loved and appreciated about this salon no longer exist. No longer a friendly welcome, no water or tea offered, accepting clients when they very clearly don't want to/ can't handle it. If you're looking for a quickie, average manicure and pedicure at a nail salon with over-priced and smelly packages, this is NOT the place to go.
