I have had my Beauty Pools for 17 years. The quality of the pool itself has been excellent - never lost a tile or had to re-grout anything. Aside from a heater replacement after many years, the pool has held up well. The best part of Beauty is its service. When we have a problem, someone gets back to us quickly. Even through Covid, when the pool market was hotter than ever, Beauty made special efforts to make sure their regular customers were top of mind. I had to come here a couple of times in the last few months for some salt and chemicals for the indoor pool at the hotel I work at. The staff, although always busy with something, is very friendly and helpful with carrying those heavy containers once it is your turn to be waited on. I have also listened in to some advice the staff has given other pool owners regarding products and maintenance, and they do sound pretty knowledgeable. I would recommend them for your pool needs, based on the customer service alone. read more

To be fair, I gave them two stars as they did answer the phone and they did talk to me. But it was one of the most bizarre service experiences ever. I called to talk about getting my pool renovated. I nice pool. Nice neighborhood. In all likelihood an significant 5-figure project. I called this summer hoping to get something going for next year. They gave me someone 'in the back who handles that'. She confirmed they do restore pools. She said they might be interested, and I would have to send them some pictures. Here is the bizarre part: In order for me to send them pictures of my current pool, to have them assess if they would do it, I had to open and account with them. To open and account with them, I had to give them a credit card! No visit. No 'free' assessment of a picture on email. I had to become an account holder with them and secure it with a credit card. OK. I bit. Gave them my card. Sent pics. No call. No follow up. No nothing. Very odd. Moved on. Got an appointment with Leisure Pools on a single phone call. As luck would have it, I inadvertently misplaced my card and had it replaced. Done with Beauty Pools! read more

Our experience with Beauty Pools was absolutely the worst experience I had with any company. We were purchasing a home with a pool. Beauty Pools opened the pool for the previous owner with us in attendance. They said everything was great except for some minor problems . We later got a copy of a voice mail where the service manager says he totally lied to help the person sell the house. When Beauty Pools was confronted they said they are not responsible. With such blatant lies regarding the condition of the pool it is the worst case of a business speaking honestly and openly. I wouldn't trust them working on any pool and count on their word. My pool was opened a week ago (5/18/20) noticed shortly after the service people left that the pool heater was not working. Called and spoke to Karen, she told me she would put a work order in, but couldn't give me a time frame for repair as " they are very busy". I've been a nurse for 33 years, can you imagine me telling a patient " I don't know when I'll get to you- I'm very busy". We have used beauty pool for many many years (20-plus). They open and close our pool and take care of things repairs to the equipment as they come up. I like that they have many of the same service guys come to our house to open and close and do repairs as they are familiar with our pool. Derrick and Tony have serviced our pool many times - they do a great job. We have a large (20 x 34) gunite pool that was put in during the mid 1970s. Recently (May 2018) we purchased a new pump and converted our pool to salt. I worked with Jay (service manager). He was very knowledgeable and helped me as I decided to switch my pool to salt. I was surprised how simple it was to convert to salt. Jay and the service people came out quickly and put in our new pump and the salt system within a week. As it turned out we needed additional electrical work in order to put in our new equipment. I was very happy that they did not charge me additional money for the extra electric work. They honored their initial quote. We are happy with their service and will continue to use them. read more

Beauty Pools just finished our install and the pool and their service couldn't have been better. Despite all the weather issues we have had, they have always been very accommodating and really worked hard to give us an amazing pool. Pat (in the office), Matt and Bill (in the field) always made themselves available if we had any questions and more than exceeded our expectations when it came to service and install. Great pool But don't count on the pool being finished when they say it will be. Plan on a month later. Also the service dept is very unfriendly especially Lucy. She pretty much accused me of lying that I had left messages for a week straight and not one person had called back. I told her I could bring in my Verizon bill if she really needed proof. Unprofessional customer service, shoddy workmanship/craftsmanship, and poor service maintenance/repairs. Beauty Pools was initially recommended to us by a building contractor in 2008 when we were building our home. While the pool appeared to be in good working order during its first season of use, things couldn't have been further from the truth as it's been nothing but downhill since. The masonry and construction people at Beauty Pools did a really subpar job installing our pool, especially affixing the decorative tiles along the "wall" of our pool and the paver "collar" around the perimeter of our pool. We've lost countless decorative tiles, which we find in the bottom of our pool each and every season. The thing is, its near impossible getting Beauty Pools to address and correct these issues or fix anything in a timely, workmanlike manner - on multiple occasions we've waited until the following pool season to get them to re-affix tiles, only for them to fall off again the next season. What's worse is that we have a number of pavers along the "collar"/perimeter of our pool that are dangerously loose and represent a hazard to family and friends, which have still not been properly addressed or fixed by Beauty Pools. Not to mention the fact that every season we find more and more pieces of concrete in our pool and built-in hot tub as the integrity of the masonry joints continues to fail at an alarming rate. I know our pool is now almost 8 years old, but the integrity of the masonry and concrete began failing the first season after installation, which is definitely unacceptable and certainly not customary. Aside from the failing structural and aesthetic integrity of our pool, the maintenance personnel and back office service department are atrocious, which I attribute to the high level of personnel turnover. Service calls, requests and in-person conversations regularly go unanswered and unreported, and I find myself having to do the very jobs of the people who I am paying to maintain my pool. In my opinion, the level of ineptitude displayed by the service department at Beauty Pools borders on the imbecilic. I wish I was privy to the online reviews for Beauty Pools when we were looking to build our pool years back - I certainly would've gone elsewhere with my business as they have consistently failed to meet expectations.
