Apparently this is pretty hard to find. Honestly, I was really about to give up and just order them on EBay when my boy said we should try Beauty Max. Crazy, but they had them there for $1.99 for 10 blades. We asked the girl at the register because we couldn't find them on the shelves. Makes sense they keep them behind the counter. They're very sharp blades so sometimes it pays to ask for assistance. They offer tons of skincare, make-up, hair styling tools, wigs, mani-pedi products, shaving accessories as well as purses, jewelry, clothing, sunglasses and way too much more to list. Very brightly lit with aisles and aisles and aisles and walls of products geared towards making you beautiful. You just have to see for yourself. Wheew! Overall, the service was awesome. Today, I was telling my friend how I had my hair rodded, was waiting for the curl to drop and 2 weeks later it wasn't lose. That changed when I got caught in a storm during JazzFest with only a bucket hat to keep dry. My hair was definitely soaked but I didn't feel like washing it and just pinned it back and slept in it. Didn't do a thing to it for the next two days and when I went out in day 3 the curls were loosened but it felt like they may be dreading! My girlfriend recommended I mix conditioner and water, spray it in my hair, let it sit a bit and then try combing it through. She recommended a continuous sprayer to get it evenly distributed, of course I didn't have one. So of course I went to Eloure. Honestly, since they're a small beauty supplier I wasn't sure they'd have it. As soon as I walked in they had them right in front and several. While there the staff was assisting a couple with the purchase of wigs. They were so excited to find exactly what they wanted and finding out they were as expensive as expected. I almost did not post this, but thus was literally the first time in my life, that i have cried…read moreover a bad haircut. First, we arrived at the accredited time, 11 for our appointment. Sometime after 11:30, the person scheduled to do my hair shows up. I show him a picture of how i would like my hair colored (decided to embrace the gray), but wanted to add a few highlights if purple, for fun. I took him i wanted my hair shoulder length. At no time, did he indicate that gray can be a tricky color, or i would have stuck with an overall 1 color look, as i was getting my hair done so i could travel to surprise family. What i got, was sitting at the salon for 7 hours, 50 minutes, a chin length bob, and platinum blonde highlights with orange tones. Oh, And the few purple highlights, those had to be done twice, because the first time, they looked like algae green after the first toner treatment. The cut is uneven and has some longer pieces. He did apologize profusely, and gave me a small discount and offered my next cut for free. Additionally, he called the next day, but it didn't help.
